Hi Everybody, Still playing around with Brusho Crystal Colours and having lots of fun with them. I thought it would be a good idea to make two cards from one of my pieces and so not waste any of my efforts For this one I have used Lemon and Emerald Green and the video shows you how I did it. The die I have used is the Classic Heart and teamed it with the matching Scalloped Hearts And the heart that was cut out has gone on to make another pretty card but with a different sentiment. I bought my set from Make the Day Special and is Grand Greetings by My Favorite Things There are four useful phrases on the sheet and they are quite large stamps I hope you enjoy the video and will pop back again as there is a lot more to come The offer for the beads went very well and they went like hot cakes. I ended up sending out 30 packs altogether ... with a little extra gift from me inside each one ... and they have been sent to Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and all over the UK Please let me know when they arrive with you and I hope you enjoy the packages Some of you said you would like some but didn't give me your address ... so sorry you missed out and you are now too late they have all gone. More tomorrow ... Hugs xx

Hi Everybody, Yesterday I added the tutorial Creating a Frame with Spellbinders ... but I promised that I would do another tutorial making the same style card without the use of dies at all. And so here is Making a Frame Tutorial and although it takes some work to get the frame I still think that the end result is worth the effort. I have shown you just two ways to add the strips in the video ... as these photos show ... but you can make whatever pattern you prefer. Make it look like a window or simply add them in squares, but I am sure you will agree that it looks pretty either way. The background is created with the 8x8 Embossing folder Regency Swirls from Crafters Companion If you did the diamond pattern you could add pearls into each of the crossed sections. My pearls are from Want2Scrap And please, please don't be a perfectionist about the space between the diamonds ... you will drive your self crazy trying to get them exact. It is after all a hand made card ... and no body will know ... if you don't tell them !! All they will see is the lovely card that you have taken the time to create with love ... JUST for them I have been asked where you can get the Quatrefoil Pattern die ... here are the links for you .... In the UK ..... In the USA More tomorrow ... Hugs xx

Hi Crafty Friends, It's challenge time with my friends over on the CCEE Stampers challenge blog. Being a brand new month it's time to introduce a new challenge hostess, which this time around is ME! Butterflies seem to be very popular right now, many companies have released products featuring them this year. Create a card that features one or more butterflies. For my card today I pulled out my Spellbinders Butterfly Creator die set designed by Bibi Cameron. As you can see I created an easel card. I created the easel portion of the card using white cardstock, I folded the card in half and then lined up the largest butterfly die so that the top part of the butterfly was slightly above the score line. I then folded the top butterfly in half to create the base of the easel card. Next I die cut the large butterfly three more times, once from white cardstock and twice from Rainbow Mirri Cardstock. I adhered one of the mirri butterfly panels over the white one and adhered this to the folded butterfly of the easel. I cut a sliver of card off the top of the other mirri butterfly and adhered this to the butterfly easel base. Using the smaller of the butterflies, I die cut two pieces of patterned paper using Craft Consortium's Ink Drops - Vivid patterned paper. I also die cut two more white small butterflies adhering the patterned paper to the white butterfly before adhering both to the easel card. I die cut the butterfly body form Rainbow Mirri card and added it to the top butterfly. I recently got a stamp set that contained two butterfly themed sentiments, so I stamped them onto white cardstock using pink ink and then adhered them to the card. Both sentiments are layered using rainbow mirri cardstock. I adhered the birthday one using foam tape to use as a stop for the easel card. I decorated the card with flowers and leaves using dies from the Butterfly Creator die set. To finish off the card I added a few pink enamel dots randomly around the flowers on the card. Here is a look at the base of my easel card, there is space above the sentiment to hand write a personal greeting. Here is a look at my card when it is closed ready to be placed in an envelope. Don't forget to check out the CCEE Stampers blog (goes live 12 AM EST) to see the rest of the creations the CCEE Stampers created this week. Hi Everybody, This pretty card is created from the stamp sets that coordinate with Spellbinders Bella Rose and Sun Kissed Fleur I have used the Bella Rose stamp set and the Sun Kissed Fleur Corner and Border set. The added flowers were cut from the matching die and decoupaged onto the stamped image The flowers and leaves have been colored with Spectrum Noir and the colors used are ..... PL1, PL2, LV2, DG2, DG4 The verse is from JustRite Stampers and is one of several on the set that match Labels 29 The flower centres have the addition of pearls from Want2crap in them and the ribbon is from my Stash The stamp set matches the die and all you need to do is place it over the image and cut it out. Once shaped with your fingers to curl the petals it makes a very pretty addition to your cards. I bought both the Sun Kissed Fleur stamp and die from Sunrise Crafts.
