I used the Stampin’ Up! Enduring Beauty stamp set bundle to create a thank you card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.
These stamps, dies and masks are so fun to use. I feel like there are thousands of color combinations you can combine with a dozen different techniques! For this card, I used the Nature's Sweetness 12X12 Specialty Designer Series Paper. The gold embellished book print paper adds interest to the lovely yellow roses. The main image was stamped in black and die cut using the large die. Next the 5 masks were used in order with: mask 1 Lemon Lolly, mask 2 Old Olive and Boho Blue flowers, mask 3 Lemon Lolly, mask 4 Mossy Meadow (nothing over the flowers except accidental Mossy Meadow), mask 5 Pumpkin Pie but VERY lightly You don't have to mask or color with Stampin' Blends. You can also use it in a monochrome in this case with the Forever Love 12X12 Specialty Designer Series Paper and matching ribbon and gems. So rich....Embossed in Gold on Pretty Peacock would also be amazing with this! This main image was inked with Stampin' Write Markers in Garden Green, Bubble Bath and Crushed Curry. Then I used our lovely masks (excluding #5) in Bubble Bath and Soft Seafoam. The Sale-a-Bration $100 choice, Softly Sophisticated embossing folder (it also comes with a different stamp set) makes a great background. This Fresh Freesia creation was stamped with a lightly inked Gray Granite ink pad. Then, I used Fresh Freesia for Mask 1, Soft Seafoam and Lemon Lolly for Mask 2, Highland Heather for Mask 3, Soft Seafoam (mine was very well inked) and Blackberry Bliss for Mask 5. As I mentioned in the video, if you want a less modern art styled look, don't use Mask 5. This card is unstamped and uses Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lime Twist and Parakeet Party. This grand-looking deep red design was colored with Stampin' Blends in Light Cherry Cobbler, Light and Dark Real Red, Light and Dark Sweet Sorbet and Dark Poppy Parade. The flower buds are Light and Dark Lemon Lolly, and the greens used were Light Shaded Spruce and Light and Dark Granny Apple Green for a rich and eye catching color combination. Hello friends, I guess this card is a variation from yesterday’s card but a totally different look. I used Designer Paper yesterday so with today’s card I have stamped the image in the 2 corners. I used a butterfly on both cards. I stamped part of the image from the Enduring Beauty stamp set (#162670) on the 2 corners, onto Basic White card (#159228) with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). The Stampin’ Blends to colour the image are Daffodil Delight (#154883), Bubble Bath (#161675), Fresh Freesia (#155518) and Granny Apple Green (#154885). I added Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) to the flowers. I punched the corners of the card with the Very Best Trio punch (#159878). The card front was matted with Basic Black card (#121688) and Crushed Curry card (#131288) and attached to the Basic White base card. I coloured the Butterfly from the Paper Butterfly Accents (#162612) using Blending Brushes (#153611) with Lemon Lolly ink (#161666), Daffodil Delight ink (#147094) and Crushed Curry ink (#147087). I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Blends (#154843) for the feelers. The butterfly was attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). I cut very fine pieces to fit under the body. The gold gems from the Blooming Pearls (#162238) were added to the butterflies body. The yellow gems are from the Adhesive-Backed Solid Gems (#161300). “Best Wishes” from Artistically Inked stamp set (#154542) was stamped with Crushed Curry ink and cut with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183). This was attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE. Hello stamping friends, Another beautiful product in the Mini catalogue is the Enduring Beauty stamp set (#162670) with the Enduring Beauty dies (#162672) and used on this card. I stamped the floral image with VersaMark (#102283) onto Gorgeous Grape card (#147011). Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#155555) was added to the card and set with the Heat Tool (#129056). This was then cut with the co-ordinating die from the Enduring Beauty dies. I dry embossed the Basic White card front (#159228) with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (#161600). The edges were daubered with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) before attaching it to the Basic White base card. The leaves were also cut with the dies. I used Silver foil from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack (#156457) and I attached these to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The floral image was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). “Happy Birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and cut with a Stylish Shapes dies (#159183). “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. Hello, hello, hello! Happy Friday! Welcome and thank you for joining me on my blog today. I've just had a very well deserved and much needed Christmas Break with my family and some time away camping in our caravan. Lots of fun in the sun, stand up paddle boarding, swimming in the lake, swimming at the beach, boating, knee-boarding, 4WD, reading a few books and lots of all-round summer fun! Was so good to be away in the great outdoors of Australia. Gosh I love summer! Back to reality now. Over at Just Add Ink, to kick off the first challenge for the year we are commencing 2024 with a blog hop to go with the new challenge. Our theme for this hop and the challenge is Just Add In #685 | Just Add Flowers. This is such a fabulous theme to kick start the Just Add Ink year! Every one loves flowers, well nearly everyone. I'm a bit of a sucker for a floral stamp and the new Enduring Beauty Bundle with coordinating masks in the Stampin' Up! 2024 Jan - April Mini Catalogue caught my attention at first glance. Super pretty right? I've used the stamp and masks on Crumb Cake cardstock today for a different look. I do love colouring images on Crumb Cake cardstock as I love how the colours of the ink look different as opposed to using Basic White cardstock. All three cards that I've made for you today are all the same except for the colour combinations to colour the flowers. What's your favourite? I do love them all, of course, but the purple one is really standing out to me as my favourite. Colours used Flowers - Bubble Bath, Flirty Flamingo and Berry Burst Leaves - Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Colours used Flowers - Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight Leaves - Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Colours Used Flowers - Fresh Fresia and Highland Heather Leaves - Old Olive and Mossy Meadow To create the cards I stamped the floral image on with Versamark ink and then used Black embossing powder for the image outline. Then over the floral image I layered over the Enduring Beauty Decorative Masks to layer on the colour using Blending Brushes. Each mask has detailed floral designs that add depth and colour to your paper crafting projects. Use one mask alone to add a subtle accent. Or you can layer them to create a rich floral image of your own design. The masks definitely make colouring an image so quick and easy thats for sure. I used three colours on the 'pink' card only due to the fact that I thought the Bubble Bath was too light against the Berry Burst so I went in again over the Bubble Bath with Flirty Flamingo to achieve a better contrast. All cards were finished off with a drawn border, Crumb Cake Splatters, Linen Thread, a Happy Birthday sentiment and some embellishments. What colours do you think would work together when using the Enduring Beauty masks? Next up on the blog hop is fabulous Nikki Spencer with her amazing creation. Make sure you click your way around to everyone on the hop as there are lots of gorgeous creations and lots of different takes on our 'Just Add Flowers' theme 1.Kerry Parkinson 2. Kim Badelt 3. Hello there stamping friends! Happy Friday! Welcome and thanks for joining me on my blog today. Today we over at Just Add Ink have a fabulous inspiration picture challenge - Just Add Ink #696 | Inspiration Picture Challenge. What a beautiful inspiration picture!!! Wouldn't a piece of that cake be delicious? While at a quick glance at the inspiration picture you would think that all you would get out of the picture is some cake inspiration but actually there's the colours, the fruit, the flowers. Lots to get you inspired. The colours and the flowers were what caught my eye and that is the focus of my card for today for the Just Add Ink Design Team. I've used the Enduring Beauty stamp set for a bold birthday card. I've stamped the image on Water colour paper and coloured the image in using Water Painters. I know there are coordinating masks that go with this stamp set, and they do make colouring this image in so much quicker, but I wanted to try and colour it with the Water Painters for a different look. I used Gorgeous Grape and Pretty Peacock for my colours. I don't normally use Pretty Peacock to colour leaves but the colour goes so well with Gorgeous Grape that I thought I should use it. Makes for a beautiful colour combination! I used the Layered Florals 3D embossing folder to add to the floral look and then finished the card off with some Linen Thread, Black & Vanilla Large Check Ribbon and the Purple Fine Shimmer Gems. the embossed sentiment comes from one of the new stamp sets from the New 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, Unbounded Beauty. Go and check out the design teams take on this week's Inspiration Picture at the Just Add Ink Blog and then come and join in this week's sketch fun! The Stampin' Up! Enduring Beauty Bundle was on the top of my list of from the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogue that launches on the 4th Jan. It has Stamps, Dies and Decorative Masks. These matching masks create the perfect details in the stamped image using Blending Brushes. I paired the sentiment with the Stylish Shapes and some more blending with both the Iridescent Foil Gems and 23-25 In Colour Dots to finish the card.
