Hi friends! This is my first post in 2022 and can't imagine a better creative start of the year than a cute rainbow album. So fun! The base of the album is tiny pockets I created using the 6x8 inch sized paper pack from the Kit At Heart collection by Jan Helfield and American Crafts. I arranged the pockets in rainbow color order and placed tags into them. I added stickers to the top of the tags for easier moving. I just love the cute puffy stickers and alphabet stickers from the collection. Here is a short tutorial of the basic steps of the assemble: I hope you enjoyed this tiny mini-album tutorial! I can't wait to share more creative ideas with you! Happy weekend!
Hello Magpies, Helen here with my second project for July. This time I have used Poppy & Pear by Bea Valint from American Crafts. I have a thing about naked tags, there is a whole in them so it needs something strung threw, stamped too or stuck over. This time, I’ve used wax seals as […]

Hello Magpies, I’m back again sharing another layout using the beautiful ‘Sketchbook’ collection by Bea Valint, I began my page by fussy cutting numerous frames from the Beautiful Moments patterned paper. I chose four of them to be frames for my photos whilst the others I kept the inner piece intact. Next I arranged my […]
I am so honored to be featured on the Designer Spotlight series over at Scrapbook Expo! I always love doing featured posts because it's makes me stop and reflect on this amazing hobby and all of the amazing friends I have met along the way. You can read some fun facts about me, and see some of my recent favorite projects over on the Scrapbook Expo blog! And a great big thank you to the super sweet Paige Evans for featuring me and my work!! A fájlt letölthetitek a képre kattintva. I designed this flower-lace cut file exclusively for this post! I share it for free downloading, just click here for the studio3 file!! I'd love to see what you create with this cut file, please tag me if you share your project on IG ( @beavalint ) xoxo Bea
My little daughter, Kitti is just turned to 7 this summer (time's fly), and I decided to collect her most dominant traits, and her favorite to-dos. I used my favorite mini album cut file. I love this project, because I just have to cut the form, and then come my favorite part, the embellishing :) This is a little video about the mini album's upgrade: XO Bea

Hi Ladies! Are you ready for a fabulous summer holiday? We are on the road headed to our favorite seaside village, and I gather some supplies for a travel art kit (plus Instax camera)! This makes easier to document our travel memories and fills the rainy hours with so much fun! Here is the list of the supplies which I never forget to take with me when we start a new journey. My travel art kit always contains multi-color and black fine liner pens to write my journal and to create smaller drawings and illustrations. The travel watercolor set by Amy Tangerine is the most practical thing I ever had, its small and contains everything I need to paint watercolor details. Stickers, ephemera pieces, paper clips, my WRMK journal guide stamp, scissors, and adhesive are must-have supplies for me as well. I always start a new journey with a new travel journal! This time I created the cover I used a pretty rainbow patterned paper from the new Slice of Life collection by Amy Tangerine. I adore the puffy ephemera pieces in every collection of Amy, and Slice of Life is not an exception. I created a pretty bookmark using one of them with the 'craft a life you live' sentiment. This time I created another mini book to gather memorabilia. This envelope album is so easy to make, and what I love the most, it has a lot of tiny pockets! I used Amy's past card sets and grabbed 7 colored envelopes to create the base. I added adhesive to the inner side of the envelope's flap and inserted to the next envelope. I repeated the process with all the seven envelop. I folded the last envelop's flap to the into the first envelope, and I was ready with the base. To add more pages to the album, I put cards into the envelopes. So colorful and pretty! Here is a short process video about the base. I added a cute rainbow puffy ephemera to finish. Now we are ready to strat! I can't wait to share my finished travel journal with you! And what about you? Do you take art supplies with you on your trip? xo, Bea

Hi, scrapbooking friends. Today I would like to share a special project with you to showcase why I love scrapbooking, and what I love the most in the creative process. For me, scrapbooking is to preserve memories in more ways than photos can do by themselves. Happiness ebbs and flows through our lives and I want to capture these unforgettable moments of joy by documenting them so that I can relive those precious moments from time to time. This is the reason that my favorite scrapbooking projects are mini albums, I love the creative process of assembling the base, and my family enjoys so much looking through the photos and reading the stories. It’s a beautiful thing! Through the creative process, scrapbooking also helped me to become more organized, take better photos, and to find my own style. I found new friends and an encouraging the community through this hobby. Because scrapbooking is not only useful but also fun! Besides the beautiful papers and embellishments, there are a lot of great new trends and techniques that make this hobby diverse and enjoyable. This is the mini album I created for today as a sample of my favorite scrapbooking projects. Using a brand new collection is always 'cherry on the top' in my process, so I chose the amazingly beautiful Round Trip collection for my mini album. If you are interested in knowing more about this album, visit my Instagram to watch the walkthrough. Thank you for stopping by! XO Bea
Still waiting for my February Hip Kit Club box full packed with Maggie Holmas Chasing Dream collection items, but until it arrives I played a little bit with my left over patterned paper and my Cameo. I created some rosette - inspired by Chasing Dream chipboard rosettes - using previous Crate Paper collections and embellished them with die cuts, chipboard letters and stickers. Really good project to use up my stash. I will use them for create pretty packaging or embellishing layouts.
Hello there, it’s BEA here today to share with you a mini flip-flap album that I created using the amazing April Kit. When I was assigned to create a minialbum for this week, instantly I knew…
Every December I used to create some handmade goodies for our Children's school's Christmas Market. This year we had great success with these origami ornaments. I designed some Silhouette cut files for the different types of ornaments, this way it was really easy and fun to put together the stuff! Many of friends asked me to share the process of the folding, so I made five short process videos. Here you can see all the different ornaments' process video. You can download the templates from here: DROP / LONG / CHERRY in STUDIO3 DROP / LONG / CHERRY in SVG STELLAR BALL AND STARS in STUDIO3 STELLAR BALL AND STARS in SVG Look at these cute embellishments for packaging! I just zoomed out the cut file (you have to change the inner lines into a smaller type of broken line!), cut the templates in half and adhered them to a cardstock. Cut around the bottom and you will get these honeycomb forms. So fun! I hope you will enjoy these templates and help to begin the festive season! Don't forget to tag me ( @beavalint ) if you share your project on IG , can't wait to see how do you use it! Happy crafting! XXX Bea
Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a super tiny mini album I created using the gorgeous Garden Party collection from Maggie Holmes. The best thing about this type of album is that although its size is very small, a lot of photos can still be inserted. The size of the album is 4x6 cm, and I inserted 10 pieces of photos in size 3.5x5.5 cm. To create the pages, I used 2 patterned paper pieces in size 16x12 cm. I folded the paper into two horizontally and then into four vertically. Here is the template of the papers: The next step is to adhere the pages together. I added double-sided tape to the back of the first page's last rectangle and the first rectangle of the second page, and then I put them together. You can add more pages with this shifting technique if you need. Next, I closed the pages and adhered cardstock paper pieces to the front and the back as a cover. I used an elastic band to keep the album closed. Now it was time to fill the album with photos and flat embellishments. I hope you enjoyed this tiny mini-album inspiration! See you soon with another project! Bye!
