Roast lightly item 1 - 3. Heat peanut butter, maple syrup and oil using lowest heat. Transfer this into a mixing bowl. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Scoop mixture onto prepared pan, spread evenly. Using spatula press hard so the mixture would stick together. Bake for 30 minutes at 130 C until done. While still warm, cut into bars. When completely cool, store in an airtight container.

Vegan Banana Pancake is a wonderful breakfast to start your day. By adding mashed banana to the ordinary pancake, you have created a flavorful and delicious meal. You can make perfectly good pancake without milk or even eggs. Vegan Banana Pancake is adapted from here produces a light and fluffy pancakes. Originally it uses strawberry but I have substituted them with banana. VEGAN BANANA PANCAKE Serves 2-4 2 cup all purpose flour 2 cup soy milk 2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 tablespoon sugar 3 tablespoon oil 2 medium banana mashed oil for frying METHOD In a mixing bowl, combine flour, soda, salt and sugar with a whisk. Combine soy milk, oil and mashed banana. Add wet ingredients to the flour, stir until lumps are gone. Lightly coat the pan with oil, pour 1/4 cup of batter and cook until bubbles appear. Flip and cook the other side. Complete the rest of the batter. Serve with syrup or fruit preserve. Four leaf clover made from corks. I had made cork hearts for Valentine's Day for my little craft boutique. As I was pondering ideas for St Patrick's Day decor and crafts I noticed I could create a four leaf clover from 4 hearts . Well, then it was off to the races. Here is one of the hearts and you can see that I used 12 corks to create the heart. It's easy to use a hot glue gun to build the heart.I created 4 hearts to make the clover. Start from the bottom of the heart with one cork , glue the two corks above that to the first cork , then glue the third row of corks but center the middle cork and glue that first, then the two side pieces. These are easy just require a couple of extra seconds of thought. Just keep going and following the picture above. Create a total of 4 hearts . Hot glue the 4 hearts together in the center to form the Four Leaf Clover . I'm a big fan of driftwood and it's always laying around somewhere as part of the decor so it was easy enough for me to make a stem from the driftwood. You could make a stem from twigs, or even something from the faux floral department . Side view and showing that I used holiday napkins from the dollar store to decoupage to one side to create a little color and festivity. Make sure you let that dry well before attempting to cut around the corks to remove the excess napkin. A little Mod Podge and gold glitter to finish off the other side. Hot glue some twine to create a loop for hanging. Completa. Cheers, now you have a reason to save those corks. Really easy in your bread machine or you can bake it the conventional way. This works well as breakfast meal or as dessert. Banana adds an elegant and tasty swirl to this gorgeous Banana Swirl Bread. My family just loves them!. Connect with me: FACEBOOK / INSTAGRAM / YOU TUBE / YOU TUBE / RSS / EMAIL / GOOGLE+ / TWITTER / PINTEREST BANANA SWIRL BREAD RECIPE Yield : One loaf 2+1/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup hot water 1/2 cup condensed milk 2 tablespoon melted butter 2 tablespoon sugar 3/4 tsp salt 1+1/2 tsp instant yeast 2-3 tablespoon flour if needed FILLING 2 tablespoon softened butter 2 tablespoon sugar 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 cup sliced banana DIRECTION Combine hot water and condensed milk. Add in melted butter. Place flour, sugar, instant yeast into mixing bowl, stir to combine. Now add the milk mixture to the dry ingredient, stir in salt. Forms into soft dough. Add extra flour if too sticky. Knead by hand for 5 minutes on floured surface. Transfer onto greased and covered bowl. Let rise until double for an hour. Lightly deflate dough, roll out into rectangle. Spread with butter, sprinkle sugar, banana and cinnamon. Starting from the short side, roll up the dough jelly roll style. Put the dough onto loaf pan and let sit for another hour. Towards the end of rising time, preheat oven @ 190 C. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter after removing from the oven. Cool on rack. Slice to serve. Linking to Yeastspotting 11-18-11

We are having Homemade Apple Rolls for warm breakfast food in our home. I like to make them from scratch. As with yeast, for this Homemade Apple Roll, you will need to plan ahead but it's so worth it. The apple filling can be well prepared a day before and keep refrigerated. It is cooked using microwave but could be done on stove top by combining all the filling ingredients, let cook for 10 minutes with constant stirring. Leave to cool completely before use. Unlike regular rolls, these rolls are baked as a log then equally slice after baking. This dough works up beautifully, it is easy to do and they are so good. HOMEMADE APPLE ROLLS Yield : 10 rolls 2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 tablespoon instant yeast 3/4 cup warm milk 1/4 cup melted butter 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt Extra butter for brushing APPLE FILLING 3 medium apples grated 4-5 tablespoon brown sugar/white sugar or to taste 1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon METHOD FOR FILLING Peel, core and grate the apples. Place apple and brown sugar in a microwavable bowl. Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Stir in the lemon juice and microwave again on high for another 5 minutes. Mix in ground cinnamon. Remove and cool. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container. METHOD FOR ROLLS Place flour and yeast in a mixing bowl. Combine milk, sugar and salt in a separate bowl, stir well. Now add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients, forms into soft dough using a mixer or by hand. Transfer dough onto floured surface and knead by hand until smooth for 10 minutes or 8 minutes using a mixer. Place dough into oiled and covered bowl, let rise until double for 1.5 hours. Punch dough down, roll out dough into rectangle about 10 x 12 in. Brush the dough with softened butter leaving 1 in bare edge along one long side. Spread apple filling evenly over the dough . Starting with long edge, roll up dough into a tight cylinder, pinch seams to seal. Place dough, seam side down in a loaf pan. Let sit for 45 minutes, towards the end of rising time, heat the oven @ 190 C. Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown, transfer onto rack to cool.
