It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I took a few liberties with this one, flipping it on its side and stretching it out a bit, to come up with my design. I used the giraffe from Avery Elle’s What’s Up? set as my focal image. The image is colored with Copic markers and cut out, then adhered to the light blue panel with dimensional dots. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I actually used two stamped images here, one whole image and one partial (just the head). The set’s “what’s up?” sentiment is stamped next to the giraffe in brown ink. The image panel is attached to a kraft card base over a piece of green on green striped paper. Once the image was in place, I added a trio of brown enamel dots along the left side of the image panel. To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog.
