Thought that I would enter another card into this month's Paper Smooches challenge. Another clean and simple card. I stamped the dinosaur image from the Party Posse set, the palm tree image from the Summer Lovin set and the sentiment from the Huge Hugs set. I used the concentric circle stencil from My Favorite Things sprayed with some yellow Mr Huey mist. I then coloured in the images with some copics and mounted the dinosaur and one of the palm trees with some foam tape to give the scene a bit of dimension. Thanks for stopping by Pauline
Welcome to Paper Smooched Sparks Challenge on Picture Perfect and here we have this inspiration photo for you to create with... I was inspired by the white lines, layout, splash of yellow etc... and here come with my card using "Chit Chat" and "My Peeps" from Paper Smooches. I've used white ink to stamp the images then use white line ink pen to trace the images again in order to have a white crispy line. Of course, you can always substitute using embossing powder :) Thanks for stopping by! For more details of the challenge can be found Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge blog. Just before I leave, as you may know this is my last challenge with PSS and I would like to extend my thanks to Kim who giving me this amazing opportunity to be part of the challenge team and I am honored and have enjoy every single challenges with the talented group of ladies :) Not to forget the fabulous team coordinator Savannah who being such a wonderful team leader, you know what I mean if you knew her :) To the new design team, congrats and I can't wait to see all of your creations. xoxo, Angeline
Inside front of card Paper Smooches March Inspiration Inspired by this gorgeous floral wreath hanging from this fortnight at Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge, I created this cloud wreath card, featuring Paper Smooches March free digi download squirrel and the clouds, kite and sentiment stamps from Paper Smooches Sunny Side Up set. There is a lot of pop-dotting in the cloud wreath! I cut out the centre of the wreath from the card so that when you open the card, the back of the kite reads "Thanks for the Lift". I was tempted to change the Hi to High, but decided to leave it ;) The images, apart from the digi-download were stamped in black Momento ink, and coloured to highlight the pinks and greens from the inspiration photo using Copics Rose Mist (R83), Yellow Green (YG03), Sepia (E37), Sand (E33), and Barley Beige (E11). With all this kraft this card is perfect for this weeks "Get Krafty" Challenge over at The Pink Elephant too. Hope your spirits soar today :)
Hello! I’m sharing a CAS friendship card created from a combination of Paper Smooches products. It’s been far too long since I played with Paper Smooches (one of the first companies whose products I bought when I started cardmaking)! I went bold with the cardstock colors to create a CAS spring still life. I stamped the watering can
Hello friends, I love a good pun, so the Critter Card Puns stamp set from Paper Smooches is right up my alley. I was able to combine this punny set with some of my favorite products from Paper Smooches March Release- the adorable Animal Card dies. Using this stamp set and dies, I created a trio of punny critter cards. There are three Animal die sets available: Bunny, Cat/Dog and Bear/Frog. I mixed and matched the die sets to create the kitty, puppy and panda cards. Using the same basic layout and pink card stock to accent the animals helps tie the cards together to work as a set. Supplies: Critter Card Puns Bear Frog Card Dies Cat Dog Card Dies Bunny Card Dies That's all for me today- thanks so much for stopping by! Katie

*** Scroll down to the post below or click HERE to see my card for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! *** This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is an Anything Goes challenge. Since tomorrow is my first official day at work at my new school, I put together a simple school themed design for the challenge. I used the School Icons die set to make a pencil for my card. After die cutting the pieces from a bunch of cardstock scraps, I assembled the pencil. I used foam tape to adhere it to a kraft card base that I'd covered with a pair of patterned paper panels and a coordinating solid cardstock strip. The "thanks teacher" sentiment from the Smarty Pants set was stamped in gray ink on the notebook lined patterned paper. Don’t miss what the rest of the SPARKS team has created this week. Here’s where to find them: Katie Larissa Lori--you're here! Hi everyone! Yay, it's Saturday...lazy, kickback kind of day today! It's cloudy and dreary so I spent a little extra time in my stamp room this morning, making a card using the 300th FMS sketch and the pretty JAI colors: Thursday night I went to a craft night at my local library....people just bring projects that they're working on, so I brought a Paper Pumpkin kit and got caught up on a few projects. A couple of women were working on sewing projects and one of them gave all of us some sewing-themed bandaids she got at a local fabric store. Aren't these CUTE: Adorable! I wanted to thank her, so I pulled out a Paper Smooches set that I just had to have and have barely inked up, called Needle Little Love, and here's what I came up with: I did a little paper piecing with some Pool Party DSP for the sewing machine, adding a little enamel dot, along with a "stitched" sentiment and little needle: I stamped both the Tranquil Tide and Powder Pink panels with images from the set and added a line of cross stitches along the outside edges of the thick white cardstock base, along with a little Powder Pink ribbon: And on the inside, I combined one of the sentiments with a past Paper Pumpkin sentiment and stamped it on a Stitched Shape square and added a little Pool Party button: Thanks for popping in today! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new Paper Players challenge! Project Details—All Products SU! Unless Otherwise Specified Stamps Paper Pumpkin (not sure of the set), Needle Little Love (Paper Smooches) Card stock & Papers Thick White, Tranquil Tide, Powder Pink, Pool Party Patterns DSP (ret) Ink Tranquil Tide, Powder Pink, Smoky Slate, Basic Black Accessories Powder Pink Satin Ribbon, Enamel Dot (ret) Tools Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Dimensionals
Completely by accident I discovered that this little grad cap confetti fits the hamster from Paper Smooches. OH YES. Supplies: stamps from Paper Smooches (except edge - PTI); Glimmer Mists from Tattered Angels - yellow daisy, starfish, key lime, turquoise; Distress inks in Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers, Spiced Marmalade; Versamark; Stampendous black detail embossing powder; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Stampendous Fun Flock; Spectrum Noir markers; Sharpie The hamster has a fuzzy belly, naturally. With a teeny dimensional the grad cap is perched on his/her head, and the hamster is squealing with glee to be finished at last. The edge was done with a small flower stamp from PTI - I love the bit of interest it gives as a border, and by overlapping the impressions it gives a sort of abstract look. In my opinion, anyway. The hammy panel is edged with Sharpie to help it stand out. Since The Pink Elephant is having a graduation challenge this week, I'm popping it in the linky over there - why don't you come play too?! xoxo, Jessi

Hello! It's time to share a sampling of the NEW Paper Smooches JULY 2019 release with you! THREE new stamp sets, THREE new dies and TWO new stencils will be available to purchase at 10:00 AM Central
Aren’t Paper Smooches stamps just the cutest? Trendy and funky and drawn by the wonderful Kim Hughes. Spiffy Scooters is a darling, clear photopolymer set, with this image, a motorcycle, and cute building pieces to create a scene. Love that in a stamp set! For this scooter, I stamped the image onto a couple pieces of patterned paper (My Mind’s Eye Everyday Flair) and cut out the parts I wanted to use. One thing I am sure to do with this technique, is to cut on the outside of the stamped line, to keep the image lines intact. The wheels were colored with Copic markers. And that means that I built up the image on a stamped piece of Copic XPress paper. Look at these cute little puffs! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I had a make and take at the store where I teach and we took in Orchestra Iowa on the lawn of a historical mansion here in town. It was a great weekend! thanks for stopping by! ~kimberly Supplies: Stamps-Paper Smooches (Spiffy Scooters), Patterned paper-My Mind’s Eye (Everyday Flair 6x6), Ink-Memento (Tuxedo Black), Copics-C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, Copic XPress Cardstock, Spellbinders- LF-110 Grand Ovals
