Hello, friends!! I’ve been a busy, busy girl this week, but I wanted to pop in and share a project that I created that was inspired by this week’s Wednesday Sketch #352 over at the MFT Challenge Blog! It’s another good one, I tell ya and it inspired me to create a fun birthday card! Here’s the sketch: And here’s how it inspired me: When I looked at the sketch, and flipped it on it’s side, I saw a balloon for that circle. And then it occurred to me that it would be fun to create a unique flap opening for the front of the card. Here’s what it looks like when the flap is opened up: I wanted the balloon to be the focus of the card, so I masked off the area for the strip, and ink blended some clouds using the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.
