Now-a-days, documenting day-to-day life is easier than ever with camera apps on our phones and social media platforms like Instagram, Snap Chat, and TikTok. But even though nowadays we don’t have to think twice about documenting history, learning what happened centuries ago is a lot trickier to dig up and find out. For example, it wasn’t until a group of farmers unknowingly dug up a water well in China that they stumbled upon a history pot of gold – and by pot, we mean multi-tier underground chamber. Buried for over two millennia, researchers have finally uncovered the lost Chinese Terracotta Dynasty of the first multi-national emperor, Qin Shi Huangdi. Nobody would’ve ever expected the historical and majestic surprises that laid a few feet below the ground, which is why experts have deemed it one of the greatest archeological finds of our time.
