At Decorator's Warehouse we are all about creating memories and traditions with our families and today I am here to share one of my all time favorite traditions...Bunny Brunch! On Easter morning we pull out all the stops and create a delicious feast of Easter brunch time favorites! This is set against the backdrop of our Easter tree which you can read more about here. Let's take a dive in as I share some of my favorite Easter brunch recipes. At the core of every good brunch spread, you've got to have the basics...waffles, bagels, pancakes, bacon and fruit! With the trend of charcuterie, this brunch board is a fun and easy way to display the heart of your meal! The platter is the best part...full of spring colors and floral accents, this piece is a staple in the spread!Next up is a delicious cream cheese based fruit dip that is so addicting that you won't be able to stop snacking! Everyone in my family adores this recipe and it can be used for any occasion-including showers. If you don't want the dip to be pink, simply swap the strawberry cream cheese for regular. This serving platter and dip bowl are the perfect touch for the fruit tray!Bunny bait is a fun treat to keep on hand! The kids love to snack on this all week long and is perfect for school snacks too. Simply mix your favorite snacks together with white chocolate and top with your favorite colorful garnishes-sprinkles, M&M's etc. For this mix I've included Chex mix, pretzels, dry roasted peanuts, Annies's bunnies and topped with sprinkles and M&Ms. Another fun and delicious treat is this festive Easter toffee accurately named, Easter Crack. This one is easy to make and a colorful addition to your brunch. Next up are these delicious (and festive) no bake chocolate bird's nest cookies! They whip up in just minutes and are adorable! Simply melt a bag of chocolate chips and a bag of butterscotch chips in the microwave. Mix the chocolate and fold in a bag of chow mien noodles. Stir until coated. You will then scoop out a heaping teaspoon and shape it into a bird's nest. You can use a muffin tin to help get the shape. Allow the chocolate to harden-up to an hour and then place Cadbury eggs on top. Voila! Easy peasy! All of these tasty treats can be displayed on an Easter themed charcuterie board if you so choose! Isn't this one fun?In honor of the namesake Bunny Brunch, these precious bunny shaped cinnamon rolls are the icing on the cake (or should I say bun)! You can use store bought cinnamon rolls or homemade. I am all about simple and opted for store bought here. The simple step of opening up the outer end of the cinnamon roll and shaping into bunny ears is what makes this such a special treat. Cook according to package directions, however around halfway through you will pull them out of the oven and check the shape. If needed, reinforce the shape using a spoon (they will be hot) pressing it back together. Once out of the oven, drizzle with icing and make eyes and a nose using Easter colored M&M's. Easter brunch is a fun way to bring the family together and create special memories. We hope that you enjoy these recipes and are able to incorporate them into your celebrations!
