Macrolepiota mastoidea (Fr.) Singer (1951) [1949] I know these shots are of lousy quality but I thought I should publish them for the record because the species seems to be quite rare here. One thing I'd like to mention about barbaric actions such as taking this picture of a fruitbody's underside: I do collect specimens of unknown and rare species, but in case of large mushrooms I usually only take a radial representative section (which is much easier to dry uneventfully and store), and hang the remainder of the plucked fruitbody on a branch in a the same place or in similar habitat so that it keeps sporulating. This was the case with this Macrolepiota.
