It took me quite a while to figure out what this typewriter was exactly. The name says Remington, but then what specific model that is, is quite something else to figure out. Apparently, looking at a few hundred pictures of typewriters (a usual Tuesday) someone told me that it had the design of the Torpedo 18. So, a nice Torpedo 18 typewriter. Writes really well and comes with a somewhat bulky case (I mean this is definitely a desk typewriter, sure it's portable in the way that a suitcase is portable, but no one ever had fun hauling around a suitcase). So basically I'd recommend using this typewriter as a desk typewriter and you can use the case when you want to store it away. It has a QWERTZ layout and works really well. It's a great typewriter, beautiful piece of old machinery and a good tool to get some writing done. If you have any questions about the typewriter, please ask away. That's what I'm here for.
