Our latest challenge #AWLSU019 is a technique challenge, using the Spotlight technique. This is one of my favourite techniques :) Myself and the other group admins will share our creations to start off each challenge and hopefully help kick-start and inspire your creativity. If you live in Australia and are interested in participating in our fortnightly challenges, click here to join the group :) A super quick and easy card created using the retired Just Add Color Specialty Designer Series Paper, which is currently available at 60% off in the Clearance Rack (so be quick if you want to grab yourself some of this gorgeous paper). Using the larger label framelit from the Frosted Bouquet Framelits, I cut out a section of the DSP. I was able to make the cut out section longer than the framelit, by partially cutting and then moving the die and partially cutting again. I added a strip of Pool Party cardstock and stamped my sentiment (from the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set) in Pool Party ink. The leaves in my die cut section were coloured using my Stampin' Blends alcohol markers (see below for the colours used). This was then lined up with the rest of the patterned sheet and adhered using some Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
