The activity is designed for small groups of students who rotate through eight stations, spending 5-7 minutes at each station to record observations and make inferences about the images. This resource includes posters that feature eight historical photos, political cartoons, or newspaper clippings from the Cold War era, with QR codes included on each poster for students to learn more about the context of each source. A recording sheet is also included, which students can use to answer questions about each source. The recording sheet is designed to be printed back-to-back for easy use.
