This DBQ Hotsheet is a great resource for students as they learn how to write a DBQ essay for AP World History. This reflects the updated AP World History Modern curriculum. The DBQ Hotsheet helps students break down the prompt and organize their essay. It provides a couple thesis stems and templates that can be altered based upon the prompt of an essay. It also gives an overview of the various components of the essay including big "C" contextualization, using evidence from sources, and document analysis. Furthermore it gives some examples of each of these skills. The DBQ Hotsheet also includes an updated 2023 rubric.
