Oh my sweet bees! I'm so excited to share this first post as a member of the Honey Bee Stamps Social Media Design Team!! I'm so very honored to be a part of this team of talented ladies! All of my Honey Bee posts will be on Instagram (click on link to the left, if you'd like to see all of them). I am going to try to be sure and share my creations here with more details too. In all of my excitement, I kind of went over the top for this first project. I created four notecards with a matching box to hold them. I've listed all of the Honey Bee Stamps and Honey Cuts I used below. It's been so very cold here (at least for our part of Texas) and I wanted something that makes me think of warmth and spring! These adorable bees and flowers were just right! I made four notecards that are smaller than an A2 card at 3-3/4" x 5" in size. I think this set would make a great gift for someone special! You know that die cuts can make a great stencil, right? I used the top layer of the Honey Bee Honey Cuts Hexagon Cover plate die to cut a stencil for the box. Then I used some Distress Ink through the stencil. Before I assembled the box top I embossed it with the Hexagon Stipple Layer. I made the bee double sided by mirror stamping it so that I could glue a tab between the two layers. I cut a slit in the box top and inserted the tab so the bee will stand up in his little bunch of flowers! :) You can shop for all of these wonderful Honey Bee Stamps supplies here.
