It's Monday and that means another wonderful week of What Will You Stamp! This week's stamp set is From the Garden. It's a set that I instantly knew I wanted when I saw it in the catalog but for some reason I haven't had a chance to pull it out. It has matching framelits too which makes for even more fun! Here's my project... I had so much fun! I used the Curvy Keepsakes Framelit to cut out a box in Pink Piroutte. Then I stamped the pieces of my box with the Something Lacy background stamp in Pink Piroutte. I love how it made for a subtle and pretty background. I punched out some flowers and leaves and embellished them with pearls. The cute sign is from the From the Garden set and was cut out using the matching framelits. The sign is held in place because I slipped it through the slot below the handle of the box. It fits perfectly and is easily removed so that the box can be opened. Also, if you recreate this project, or decorate any Curvy Keepsake Box project, make sure you do it in a way that you can still open and close the box without ruining the decorations. Super surprise!! When you open up this pretty little box there's a cute little ladybug waiting inside! It's just "Sweet As Can Be..." Ha ha! Here's a close-up of the inside. I punched out two flowers for the ladybug to sit on and it just fits perfectly inside of the box. In case you're looking to do something like this, the ladybug is a Lindt chocolate and came in a five pack with some other cute little bugs. I gave this box to my mom and she loved it.
