Pin It Check out the fabulous Curvy keepsake box. We had a lot of fun. Susan Adams made the turkey box. You can do so many things with these cute little boxes. Our favorite way to embellish them is by cutting the pieces in half on the top so you can open it with out having to take all the cute stuff off. The clips worked great for this. If we put all the ribbon and on the clip it was easy to put back on after you open it. See how we cut our pieces in half. To use 2 different sides, fold your paper like the picture shows. You will need two of them. Cut one of them in half and adhere to the bottom of the one that you didn't cut. S&P Recipe: Curvy Keepsake box Thinlit die (135853)

Hello and welcome back.... I so love Spring, seeing all the lambs in the fields and we do have rather a lot here in Wales....lol, so I thought I would make a Lamb Curvy Keepsake Box. Aren't they just adorable, now a lot of the punches I used to use to do my punch art are no longer available so its always a struggle to find something to replace them with but I think I have done really well with theses adorable lambs. The fluffy tufts on their heads are the smallest flower die from the Bloomin' Heart Framelits with the tiny flower from the Tree builder punch in the middle...cute huh. The ears are from the Pyramid Pals Thinlits dies and the head is a 2" circle punched out of Basic Black card and then cut down either side. The eyes are the 1/4" and 1/8" circle punches. I cut the box pieces out of Thick Whisper White Card and stamped them with the curly stamp from the Playful Pals stamp set, then I assembled the boxes and stuck the finished head on to the box with dimensionals. On the back of the box I added a little tail, made with one of the dies from the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Die set. So very cute... Hi everyone! It's Tuesday, and that means another Stamp Ink Paper challenge! I love black and white, and it's always fun trying to decide what color to put with it! Since Valentine's is coming up, I went with black, white and red, and dusted off my Curvy Keepsake Box die, which I haven' used in a looooong time, and went to work: I cut out the two pieces of the box and tried to emboss them with the Happy Hearts folder, but I couldn't work it, so I cut the sides apart from the box, then embossed each piece separately, and then used my Tombow glue to securely glue them to another two box pieces. It makes the box a little thicker, but still works fine! I used some black glimmer paper from which to diecut the "love" sentiment, and the Love Notes die to cut out the red glimmer paper hearts. I cut a red and white tag with the tag die from Circle Card thinlet die and stamped a sentiment from Sealed with Love on top, then added some baker's twine and Cherry Cobbler ribbon: It's all ready to be filled with some Valentine goodies! Thanks for popping in, and be sure to check out what the other SIP designers came up with this week!

Hello my friends! I have a very quick post for you today. i am heading out for a day with my daughter's class on their field trip! But, before I leave, I want to show you this month's Stamp Club to Go
GOOD TUESDAY MORNING to you all today! I hope your week is starting of BEAUTIFULLY! I have a few more creations to share with you using the Curvy Keepsake Box Die....I am COMPLETELY ADDICTED to this die! It is SO MUCH FUN and has SO MANY POSSIBILITIES! First I have my candy corn! Very simple to make! Just cut out two Curvy Keepsake Box pieces in Very Vanilla, two in an orange color (I used Tangelo Twist) and two in a yellow (I used Hello Honey). It's best to use designer paper for your layers...I know this because I tried to use cardstock...but it was WAY TO THICK...and wouldn't fold right...and looked TERRIBLE! The sentiment is from the stamp set That's the ticket! My nine year old daughter, Kathryn, is IN LOVE with horses! She has that blood....her dad grew up with horses and was a team roper for awhile....but that third child coming along was the end to us having horses. She desperately wants her own horse...so I made this for her! I used the Extra Large Oval punch and the Owl Builder punch for the head, the ears are made with the Sweetheart punch (just cut it in half). The eyes are from the Owl Builder punch (you can also use the 1/2" and 1/4" circle punches)...Candy Dots for inside of circles from the 1/4" punch for the nostrils. The stamped image is from the new YEE-HAW stamp set....it is so dog gone cute! The face of my cow is made with the Extra Large Oval punch, the spots all around the cow, the horns and the eyes are all made with the Owl Builder punch, the nose is made with the Large Oval punch...which I punched out in Pink Pirouette and then punched again to make it smaller. The small oval punch is just too small. The ears are made with the Pansy punch...I punched out one petal and cut it in half. The cow bell is made with the square charm that is part of the Curvy Keepsake Box Die that I made the body out of. I trimmed it to look like a cow bell. On both the cow and the horse...I cut an extra Extra Large Oval out so that I could back the faces with...that way they look good from the back too! I also have the WEEKLY DEALS for you! Thanks bunches for stopping by today! I hope you feel inspired! I'd LOVE to hear what you think...so leave a comment if you have a moment! Have a wonderful day and REMEMBER....
It's always a delight to receive orders for my handmade products especially at Christmas. These curvy keepsake boxes were made for one (large!) family so I thought I would make several designs so that people could "ohh" and "ahh" over what everyone else received. Making multiple designs also keeps the fun in the craft and doesn't let it get to be a tedious production line. The design possibilities are endless but keep in mind when making them in bulk that you want to keep things interesting for you and not overly labour intensive. These are full size curvy keepsake boxes (heartbreakingly now retired), but you could easily adapt them to fit the mini curvy keepsake dies. The first design is simple but effective and uses designer series paper for the interior panels. I made 5 in one paper and 5 in another. The second design was the most time consuming but the ones I enjoyed making the most because I got to sit and colour with Blends for a couple of hours. Are't the little Christmas gnomes from Gnome for the Holidays just the cutest? On the back I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set, Holly Jolly Everything. For the third design I pulled out the heat tool and embossing powder to add some festive reindeer, from the Festive Post stamp set, onto the Shaded Spruce cardstock. I finished these off with some cute little Jingle Bells. Which is your favourite design? I am in love with the Curvy Keepsake Box Die from SU! It makes an elegant little gift box & is such a perfect size. This fortnight the team at CASE-ing the Catty are taking inspiration from boxes & bags in the Holiday Catalogue, so I just had to make a box from the curvy keepsake box die. :) I used the red box on page 11 of the Holiday Catty as an inspiration for my project, as I think the print (washi tape) panel looks fabulous with the solid colour box. I used a print (DSP) panel, then took it a step further by lining the underside of the other panels with crumbcake cardstock for further contrast. Here is my project:- The tag dies that come with the box are really sweet & dainty. I discovered the oval one was the perfect size for this image from the For the Birds stamp set. It has been stamped in Versamark, then Black Memento Ink & heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It's been coloured with Blendabilities markers. A double espresso baker's twine bow completes the project. I am on a little holiday at the moment, staying with my crafting bestie, Lynne. You can see what Lynne created with the Curvy Keepsake Box die here. You can see all the beautiful design team projects, as well as play along at the challenge here (click on the graphic):- While I still had the cherry cobbler cardstock out (& Lynne was busy cutting LOTS of Christmas boxes), I decided to make another curvy keepsake box, just a little different from the one above, lol:- This 3D toadstool was so much fun to create. Thanks for stopping by! :) Project Components All Stampin' Up!

I know I am a little late jumping in to share a project made with the new Curvy Keepsake Box die. There are a ton of adorable projects all over Pinterest that use this new die and honestly, I didn't...
Remember the punch art card I made in this post? Well, I created a Curvy Keepsake box to go with it! I'm pretty proud of it. Often with these Curvy Keepsakes my jumping off point is a CASE often with a variation of someone else's box. Not this time! Stamps: None Ink: Old Olive Paper: Old Olive, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight. Tangelo Twist, Crushed Curry Misc: Curvy Keepsake Box Framelit, Ovals Collection Framelits, Extra large Oval Punch, Build a Bird Punch, Owl Builder Punch I will be doing a class on Punch Art Curvy boxes, this will be one of the boxes we will be making.
Hey there! Today we’re sharing our swaps for the 2015 Gold Coast Convention: Butterfly Curvy Keepsake Boxes.
Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday... This week's box is super cute and would be a great little Easter Treat box.... How cute is this a little bunny running down his rabbit hole.. I wanted to create the illusion of the ground below and the grass above, so I cut out two box pieces in Soft Suede and two in Old Olive. I cut off the slotted side of the Soft Suede Pieces and cut off the handle sides of the Old Olive pieces, then stuck them together to make the box. On the Old Olive sides I made some grass using the Fringe Scissors with some scraps of Wild Wasabi card. I punched out some flowers using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and drew the stems using a Wild Wasabi Marker. On the back panel I stamped some splodges using one of the stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I made a little butterfly using the Bitty Butterfly punch and stuck it to a piece of wire so that it looks like it flying over the bunny. I used a 1" circle of Basic Black card for the hole and a 3/4" circle of Chocolate Chip card for the Bunny bottom, the tail is the flower from the Tree Builder Punch and the feet I cut free hand. I have teamed up with 11 Incredible Demonstrators from around the globe to bring you a Tutorial Bundle, once a month for a 6 month period (August 2016 - January 2017). All tutorials are offered in both Metric and Imperial measurements so that everyone around the globe are able to recreate the projects with ease. You will receive no less than TWELVE tutorials in each month's Tutorial Bundle, one tutorial from each of the twelve designers. For a sneak peek of each month's Tutorials and/or to purchase them click below. Poppy Favour Tutorial Cut Two Ovals of differing sizes and stamp using Kinda Eclectic sunburst image in the same Real Red as the cardstock. Curl the edges using a bone folder (I have kept them flat here for the purpose of the photo). Snip into the centre where they over lap and interlock. Die cut the leaf from the Leaflets Framelits in Garden Green. Mount the poppy on a disc of Basic Black and sandwich your treat between that and another disc. Add the leaf and then the poppy head, before finishing it off with a smaller circle of Black Cardstock to the centre, which I've adhered using a single Dimensional foam pad. Notecard and Tag Gift Box for 3"x3" cards Click on the above photo to see the project post in it's entirety. Below are the instructions for making the box and insert divider. The enclosed Notecards are a simple 3" x 3" square card and the coordinating Envelopes were made using the Envelope Punch Board and Designer Series Paper. The tags are cut to 2" wide, finished using the Tag Topper Punch and cut to your chosen length to fit the box. Stamp up the cards to coordinate with your chosen DSP. Snip into one score line at each corner and use a strong adhesive to assemble. I have shown here with Sticky Strip so that you are able to see it clearly. It is a good idea to adhere the divider in place. This helps to give the box a little more strength to the base. If you are stamping on the Box Lid, you will want to do this before assembling. Gift Card Envelope Box Tutorial Click on the photo to be taken to the Tutorial instructions. Santa's Face Embellishment Tutorial I have received some lovely comments and emails asking for instructions on how to make the Punch Art Santa that I showed on my Curvy Keepsake Gift Boxes of late, so without further ado ….. get your punches ready and spread a little cheer! You will need the following punches and dies: 2 3/8" Scallop Circle - White 1 3/4" Scallop Circle - White Large Oval - Blushing Bride Large circle from Owl Builder Punch - Blushing Bride 2 Medium Circles from Owl Builder Punch - Black Mustache Framelit - White Petite Pennants Builder - Real Red Petite Pennants Builder - Silver Glimmer (part punch) 1/2" Circle - Silver Glimmer 1. Punch out one each of the above (unless otherwise stated) 2. Assemble as shown. Taking the Pennant Parade part punch of glimmer paper and holding with a post it note, re-insert into the punch in the opposite direction to add a scalloped edge to the opposite side of the scalloped bottom edge. 3. Add the Mustache to the face using Dimensionals and add the scalloped punched glimmer strip to the bottom of the hat. 4. Attach the hat to the face and decide where you wish to use your cheerful Santa. Merry Christmas Mikaela x Curvy Keepsake Pumpkin Box Tutorial Place an online order with me during the month of October 2014, of £20 or more, and you will receive a kit to make two of these cute boxes. Look out for the Hostess Code to apply to your order at the beginning of October (Note that the Designer Series Paper may differ to that shown here). Cut two each of the Cardstock sides and two of the Polka Dot Designer Series Paper sides. Please note that this particular DSP has been retired, but the Designer Series paper Stacks would offer a similar polka dot. Die cut as shown here. Fold on the score lines and lay out as shown here. Adhere the cardstock base together, then trim off the excess DSP along the scoreline at the base of the sides. Add adhesive to the outside edge of the little side tab of the card stock base and marry up the base of the DSP side. Repeat on both sides. The base of your box will now look like this. Very gently, using the full length of a Bone Folder, curl each box side inwards on itself, in the direction of it being assembled. The Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits, comes complete with 3 possible tags. I've used the oval here and stamped using a Hostess Set called, Good Greetings. The leaf has been die cut using the Autumn Accents Die. Take a thin strip of matching card stock and wrap it tightly around a thin round pen or similar. Layer the tag and leaf, attach the card stock curl with a Glue Dot and tie to the box using Linen Thread. Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies £29.95 Autumn Accents Bigz Die £18.95 Pumpkin Pie A4 Card Stock £6.25 Old Olive A4 Card Stock £6.25 Crumb Cake A4 Card Stock £6.25 Linen Thread £3.95 Flower Shop Stamp Set Tip Should you purchase the gorgeous Flower Shop Stamp Set and Punch Bundle, then you will find this tip for setting up the stamps, very useful. Thankfully, I discovered this tip from one of my fellow Demonstrators in America, before setting my kit up. There is only one way that the punch will fit neatly around the stamped image, with an even edge all the way round, so you need to find this to start with … and here is how. Firstly you want to take a piece of cardstock and pushing the strip right down into the punch, punch out the image. Turn the piece of cardstock over and mark which is the top and bottom of the image (the bottom being the inside edge of the punch). It is important to turn the cardstock over to mark this, as you are wanting the punch to sit the way the image will appear when stamped. Now place each flower image in turn onto your acrylic block and with the punched out flower, sit it over the rubber image, turning it until it sits snuggly around the flower (there really is only one best way). When you've found it, mark on the edge of the rubber, where the bottom is (as shown in the bottom left photo here). Repeat for each flower image. I have marked the bottom, so that now when I stamp the image, I stamp it with the bottom mark of the image to the edge of the cardstock, so that I can slot it directly into the punch, without having to cut away excess cardstock to line it up. I have also marked the rubber that I store them in, so that I know which way round it sits neatly back in the case. I hope this makes sense. I think once you start rotating the cardstock, you'll see how it fits better one way more so than the others. Stamp the Woodgrain image, using Basic Grey Ink, onto long strips of 6 cm deep Whisper White Cardstock (Stamp off and use Second Edition Stamp technique for a lighter Grey) Note: If you are only making one tag, the cardstock will need to be 6 x 7.2cm Cut cardstock into strips of 0.9 x 6 cm ... you need 8. Using the excess side strips of your dimensionals, add a height to one stem Using the Itty Bitty Punch Set, punch a LOT of flowers out of Wisteria Wonder cardstock and crumple between your fingers (you can do several at a time), before attaching the screwed up flowers to each dimensional line, until covered Add the Calypso Coral Butterfly and the leaves using Glue Dots Attach the fence to the main tag, lining up the bottom edge and tucking the leaves between the fence posts Using the Woodgrain Stamp, Crumb Cake Ink and the Second Edition Stamping technique, stamp strips of Crumb Cake Card Stock Print your chosen sentiment with Early Espresso Ink and punch out using the Ticket Duo Builder, before adding this with Snail adhesive to the fence Slot your ribbon through the curved cut at the top of the tag and secure with a bow of Linen Thread Enjoy making and creating your own versions! NOTE: I began writing this a few weeks ago but realized I needed more pictures if the tutorial was going to make sense. Panic set in when I couldn't locate my Curvy Keepsake Box thinlit. The last time I had used it was at the Charity Scrapbooking Crop which I had attended and for which I provided make-n-takes. A frantic phone call to the organizer did not turn up the missing thinlit, nor did her messages to the attendees. And so this post was put on hold. What good would it be without the appropriate photos to show precisely how to make my little adapted tummy box? Time passed and finally, a couple of days ago I pulled the comforter out of the back of my SUV, intending to clean it since the dogs had been all over it. And suddenly I heard a metallic clang---a soft one, but still, a clang. I checked the cement floor of the garage and there it was! My thinlit had jumped out of the bag into which I had packed it after the Crop and was just hanging out, having a good old time travelling around with me. Well, no more. I've put it to work again and here it is. My tutorial is finally ready. I love using the Curvy Keepsake Box. I've used it countless times as it was designed to be used, and decorated it up with great success. I've even used it as a wrap, adapting it to be used with just two sides. That has been a lot of fun and well received. And then I designed the Tummy Boxes, another adaptation of the Curvy Keepsake Box. These have been terrific little gift boxes for Christmas but could be used anytime, for all sorts of different occasions. Here, if you haven't seen it yet, is my little Snowman Tummy Box: He's easy to make. I'm going to lead you through the process and have taken pictures as I've gone along. The fun thing is that once you've made my little snowman, the sky is the limit. You can change the colours of cardstock and make a gingerbread man, Santa, any of the elves or even a reindeer. Your imagination is your limit with this adaption of the Curvy Keepsake Box. Ready? Let's begin. For the initial box you'll need the Curvy Keepsake Box thinlit, of course. Before I began cutting, I took a black marker and drew lines on the sides of my thinlit as shown: If you find this difficult to read, on the left it says 2" from cutting bar. (this will be the front). On the right it says 1 1/2" from cutting bar. (this will be a side). Materials: Heavy weight Whisper White, piece 1: 4" x 6 1/2" Heavy weight Whisper White, piece 2: 4" x 4 1/2" Real Red cardstock, optional: 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" 24" of your choice of 1/8" ribbon. Tear & Tape Adhesive Tools: Big Shot Curvy Keepsake Thinlit 1/8" Hole Punch Scissors Step-by-step photos: Now assemble your box the way you normally would, using the adhesive of your choice to hold the bases together. I've used Fast Fuse because I find it holds beautifully. Then, if you wish to have a liner for your base, adhere the piece of Real Red to the inside bottom. I also used my scissors to curve the corners of the front. Cut your piece of ribbon. Find the center of the ribbon and place the ribbon across the back of the box, on top of the Tear & Tape Adhesive. You are now ready to begin lacing the ribbon through the holes you've punched. Once you've pulled the ribbon through the punched holes, as shown, you can pull the sides and front up and tie the bow in front. And that is basically how to make the Adapted Curvy Keepsake Box. It becomes the "tummy" of whatever character you decide to make. The following is how I've made it into a snowman. I've shaded around the perimeter of the head by using a sponge and Basic Grey ink. I drew the eyes using my Basic Black Stampin' Marker as well as all those little "pieces of coal" which make up his mouth. The nose is actually the ice-cream cone framelit from the Snow Friends framelits with the "ice-cream" cut into a smaller circle. It was cut from a piece of Tangelo Twist cardstock and the little "carrot-wrinkles" were hand-drawn using the Tangelo Twist Stampin' Marker. I used the Blushing Bride Stampin' Marker to colour in his cheeks. You can see that I've curved the "arms" from the baby's onesie for the brim of the hat and also curved the top of the hat. I glued a piece of the matching striped ribbon around the hat and attached a sprig of holly using the Snow Friends framelit and matching stamp. Finally, the arms. If you follow my lines, you can get both arms from the circle which you've already cut. You can see how easily the circle becomes two arms. I used Tombo glue to attach the head and arms after sponging a bit of Basic Grey to give the body, arms and head some "dimension". I attached a blank white circle to the back of the head to hide the cut-out from the Curvy Keepsake Die. You can see how everything is attached from the back. Lastly I used the Owl Builder Punch and cut five little circles (the second largest of the punch) and attached them to his body and the front of the box. This is the completed little snowman. He's a lot of fun to make and his "tummy" holds a lot of candies. As you can see, a lot of candies fit into his waiting tummy. And here, just for fun, is a little Gingerbread "tummy" Man which I created from the Kraft paper. I hope you enjoy making your own little "tummy" people and animals. Your imagination is your limit. If you have any questions, just email me or ask in my comment section. I'd love to see your creations, as well. I've entered my little Gingerbread "tummy" Guy into the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge. And I've also entered him into the {PIN}spirational Challenge.
Ah, my little blog! I find sticking to it tough, when I'm pretty sure I'm talking to myself...however in the genre of keeping a diary...I'm going to start back at it...I haven't kept a diary for a lot of years now...but I have dozens of filled books from my 20's and before...having children and being happy seems to take precedent over self-exploration! I remember travelling with a friend of the day and laughing as she stated the only times she wrote in her travel journal was when she was lonely, sad and cranky..and what fun that would be to read when she was an old woman! : D I recently pulled out a couple old diaries and one evening was interrupted in my reading one of my entires. Later that evening, when leaving a friend's place, I told her I was really excited to get back home to finish reading a few more pages in my diary, I told her I didn't know what was gong to happen next and couldn't wait to find out! LOL ~ I'm glad I wrote quite a few entries to keep this tangled brain on track as I get older! Sometimes I photocopied a letter I sent home before mailing it...for the exact reason my friend had said about cranky entries...Generally, when we wrote home, we sent newsy, happy accounts of what we'd been up to...so it rounded out any lonely entries. We're talking the old days, when travelling for several months meant maybe one phone collect call home and otherwise no other contact with back home except the one way communication by us via postcards and the odd letter... Loved the adventure! So if you'd like to follow along, I'm going to start regular entries. I've been quite keen on the idea of sending a little love through the mail via a card over the past couple years, but not as diligent as I was few years ago. A Challenge was recently issued to send off 40 cards during Lent...so, bolstered by a number of other women joining this challenge, I'm going to start back at it and create a habit of something I heartily agree with! Tomorrow, I'll post a funny story of meeting up with the author, Jason F Wright, at our recent Leadership Conference. He was our fabulous keynote speaker, and I was lucky enough to meet up with him afterwards! This is one of the Curvy boxes I made back in December for my Daughter's tree...Seven Swans a Swimming! smiles, Laurie
Hi Stamper! So, if you follow our Instagram (Jomina.Creations) you probably saw this really cute retro trailer made with the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits (Holiday Catalogue pg. 11) and wondered how to make it. We've decided to post the instructions here and then post a video tutorial later on. We hope you love this project and hope to see your CASE (copy and share everything) of this project! Make sure to hashtag #jominacreations 1. Using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits (item #135853) cut two of the box thinlit in Whisper White (two makes one complete box) 2. Cut two of the curvy keepsake boxes in Costal Cabana 3. Cut the Coastal Cabana at the scored lines (created by the thinlit) away from the "box base" 4. Cut the Coastal Cabana at 1 1/4" 5. Glue Whisper White Box Together at square base. 6. Glue the Coastal Cabana pieces to the Whisper White box using either Fast Fuse Adhesive (item #129026) or Sticky Strip (item #104294) 7. Using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool (item #122334) score the box every 1/4" 8. Cut Silver Foil Paper (item #132178) in 1/8" strips and glue onto all four sides of the box. Cut to length. 9. Cut Silver Foil Paper in dimensions pictured above. 10. Cut Whisper White paper in dimensions pictured above. 11. Glue pieces together to create a door and window. 12. Glue door and window onto box using Fast Fuse or Sticky Strip. 13. Punch three, 3/4" circles and one, 1/2" in Basic Black paper. 14. Punch five, 1/2" circles in Whisper White paper. 15. Glue the three of the 1/2" Whisper White circles onto three, 3/4" Basic Black circles. Draw a dot with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker (item #100082) in the middle of the Whisper White Circles. These are three tires. 16. Dimensional one tire onto the window and one on each side of the trailer. 17. Glue the coastal cabana piece of the curvy keepsake (keep me piece) onto the bottom of the trailer, to create a "hitch". 18. Roll a piece of Basic Black paper and use a glue dot to attach to 1/2" Basic Black circle, this will create a stand. Place into slot. 19. Roll a piece of Whisper White 3/4" thick and glue a 1/2" Whisper White circle to each end. Glue this tube dot onto the "hitch." This completes the project. If we've missed anything, comment below and we'll answer as soon as possible. Hope you love this Retro Trailer Curvy Keepsake Box as much as we loved creating it! Make sure to CASE this project and hashtag it #jominacreations or tag us in the photo! We would love to see your version of this project! It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, that's what! Time to get our check-ups if we haven't had one recently, be aware of signs, symptoms and what to do! To help raise awareness, I made this little reminder with Stampin' Up!'s wildly popular Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlit Die! (that's quite a title, isn't it!) I used a Heart Framelit to cut out the Melon Mambo DSP, then cut the thin straps with my paper trimmer and adhered all with Mono Multi Liquid Glue (the tape adhesive doesn't hold it well because of the curvy shape of the box). I found this sentiment in the Something to Say set and love it for this theme! The little flower in the front is from the same set. The butterfly is encrusted with Dazzling Diamonds; this combined with the Pearls and flower makes for quite the feminine look! I didn't take a picture of the box back but I made a remembrance "ribbon" out of Melon Mambo cardstock to emphasize the Breast Cancer Awareness theme of the box. Stamps: Something to Say, Papillon Potpourri Inks: Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Pink Pirouette Paper: Melon Mambo print from Brights DSP Stack; Pink Pirouette, Whisper White cardstocks Accessories: Designer Label Punch, flower punch from Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Strawberry Slush Baker's Twine, Heart Framelits, Big Shot, Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Stampin' Sponge. Lynn Starzyl made a box for breast cancer awarenes which inspired me to come up with one of my own. Thanks, Lynn. Remember the special annual October Breast Cancer Project at Splitcoast Stampers of making cards for breast cancer patients at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. You might want to join in this meaningful cause! Thanks for visiting today! Take care of yourself, friends! Margaret Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies $32.95
Here is my tweaked sheep punch art! Votes were about 50/50 for with legs or without so I made this one without legs but used the smaller sized head of the two. I think it will pass for my granddaughter's Nutcracker sheep treat favor. The supplies are listed in the previous post.
I have been having so much fun playing with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Dies. The Dies were a Holiday Favorite (as well as a favorite of mine) and the set is still available in my online store. Earlie
Good Morning! Happy Tuesday....do you realize February is almost over? Time sure is flying by! Today I want to share a few LADYBUG Curvy Keepsake Boxes with you! Although it is only 23 degrees here this morning....spring has been in the air here in my little mountain town! The iris's are blooming already, the daffodils are popping out...and my tulips are starting to peak through the soil.....so I've been thinking LADYBUGS! I made the flower by punching a piece of designer paper with the Fun Flower Punch. The Ladybug was punched with the 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches. This one is my favorite..... These ladybugs were made using the 1 1/8" and 1 3/4" circle punches. Aren't they cute?! I'm deciding on what to add to these two...maybe some greenery...or a simple hello...share your ideas by commenting below!!! Thanks for stopping by today! ENJOY YOUR DAY!
