Made in California I have created these ornaments with earthenware clay, and using natural shells that I collected from our California Beaches. I made these from pressing shells into the wet clay then bisque firing to create a mold when used it creates a raised design, and more shells were used to press in to have both a raised and recessed design. These were finished with underglaze and a turquoise crackle glaze. A great home decor item representing our great state of California EST 1850. These are also available for other pnw states, Oregon and Washington are in my shop and ready to ship now. The last photo shows the great detail of the shells and the crackle glaze. Some of the ornaments have more crackle on them, and some have less. A lovely item to adorn your Christmas tree or workspace. The size is 2" by 4 1/2" this listing is for one ornament only.
