Wow, what a weekend! Yesterday I held my annual open day where I invite all my friends and family to come and see a range of goodies in the new catalogue. I also sell off my retired stock which is always popular. I had about 20 people attend which was great fun! I set up tables for some simple make and takes - the daisy pencils were a hit! And we made a little note card using the Crafting Forever set which has fun crafting sentiments and the fun pick a pattern designer series paper. The daisy pencils were super easy using the daisy punch. We stamped it in night of navy on white cardstock twice then punched out the images. Sticking them to the pencil was super easy with the new mini dimensionals - would you believe they were exactly the right size and shape for the pencils!? I was so excited when I realised that!! Here is a close up of the quick bunch of flower pencils I created for the display table. Quick, easy and practical!! Here I used Berry Burst one of the new in colours for 2017-2019. I knew I couldn't manage the food as well as crafting and setting up the displays so I organised some beautiful treats from our local cafe - Marty's Gourmet. I highly recommend them, fantastic food, great service and lovely, local people. Look them up on facebook or drop in if you are local. The photos I took aren't the best but of course I got too busy to take more! And too busy to sample them all which was a real shame!
