A 75"x55" will take 24 bags; a 85"x55" will take 28 bags. . LSU fan's quilt is made only with purple and bright gold - no black - with a bright gold backing (can also have a purple back). . The "gold" color fabric closely matches the shade of the bag stitching (other than LSU quilt where it is a bright gold); black and purple fabrics are also used with most, depending on the color of bags.
