Each week we see fantastic projects featuring My Favorite Things product, and we're always so thrilled to see what our customers and followers are creating! Today, we'd like to shine the spotlight on some awesome projects that have caught our attention in another edition of You've Been Spotted. If you see your project featured, feel free to post this image on your blog and link to this post to show the world that you were spotted by My Favorite Things! A Kept Life Love those colors, love the super fun design, LOVE the google eyes - obsessed with the google eyes. Jeanne has rocked Out of This World and someone is going to be so happy to discover this card is just for them. Sharna Waksmulski Once, twice, three times the intergalactic awesomeness! Sharna's trio shows three incredible ways of including your galaxy backgrounds on your cards. Distress inks and oxides are just the ticket for achieving background perfection for your Space Explorer looks. Rowena M. Simple, sweet, with just the right amount of interest-adding distress - those are some of the characteristics that make me adore Rowena's card! Her stark white Birdhouses pop off the vivid blue background and provide perfect contrast to her rad red birds. Manuela Kammerl-Noe Most of the time, we focus on our imagery and supplement with our sentiment but the juxtaposition of making the sentiment the focal point makes Nela's card so interesting! Positioning the furry friends from Snuggle Bunnies around the perimeter of the card panel draws your attention to the center of the card, the sentiment, even more. Sandra I wouldn't have thought to combine Boss Babe with the canine companions in You Make My Tail Wag but guess what? It's a perfect pairing! Sandra's pencil coloring emulates the look of fur perfectly and her sketchy shadow work provides much-needed grounding for our intrepid trio. Which design is your favorite this week? Be sure to leave these talented folks some love. And who knows? You might be spotted sometime soon!

Hi Stampers! Today I am using items from the STARGAZING SUITE featured in the current Stampin’ Up!®️Annual Catalog. I used the REACH FOR THE STARS BUNDLE (stamp set and dies) and the STARGAZING DSP to create two fun fold cards that are similar, but different. One fun fold is a tent card, the other a spinner card. Both of these fun folds feature a focal piece to be suspended on a piece of fishing line in a die cut window. Let’s take a look at the cards: SIDE VIEW As you can see from the side view, the main difference in these cards is the “W” shaped piece that allows the tent card to stand on its own with no sliding or other issues. There is a Basic White panel added to the back of the tent card to allow for space to sign the card, write a message, etc. To see my blog post about another tent card I shared a few months ago click HERE. Hello Crafty Friends, Heejung Hunsberger here! I’m thrilled to be returning as a guest designer for Spellbinders this month again! I think this collection is perfect for those who have kids or grandchildren who love space themes! I had so much fun making the cards featuring the Space Adventure Collection. If you’d like to get to know me better, visit my blog or follow me on Instagram. Additionally, I have a YouTube channel where I regularly post video tutorials. Love You to the Moon and Back Start by cutting out the background using a Starshine background die on black brushed cardstock. The brushed cardstock has a slight sparkle, giving it a space-like feel compared to regular cardstock. Then, apply white paint with a brush to create a splattered effect. I used white pear watercolor. Cut out the moon using the To the Moon die on the cardstock of your choice. Color the moon with yellow ink to create a three-dimensional effect. Finally, cut out the “Love You to the Moon and Back” letters using the gold brushed cardstock. This die is from the Space Greetings Die Set, and it can be cut into two layers. I used black brushed cardstock for the bottom layer, which matches the background. Space Birthday! First, cut out the background using a Starshine background die on white paper cardstock. In addition, mix dark blue, violet, and light blue ink and splatter it with a blending brush. Spray water on the blended paper to create a natural color blend and pattern. Cut out the stars from the To the Moon die set on silver mirror cardstock. Next, cut out the moon from the To the Moon die set and Saturn from the UFO Friends die set on blue cardstock and yellow and orange cardstock, respectively. Cut out Saturn’s rings using vellum paper. Cut out a large circle from gray cardstock. Use a splattered embossing folder to create a planetary surface texture. Then, color it with gray ink to add dimension. Finally, cut out the birthday greeting message using the dies from the Space Greetings die set on silver brushed cardstock. Attach it below the planet to complete the card. Greetings Earthling First, emboss an A2-sized indigo cardstock using the Starry Night 3D embossing folder at an angle. On the embossed paper, spray white pearl watercolors, and then attach gold mirror cardstock stars to create the background. For the planet, cut a circle using a gray cardstock die and emboss it with the Splatter embossing folder to create a textured surface. Cut out the UFO, Saturn, and the moon using colored cardstock, and attach them to the background. For the alien, cut it out from green cardstock and blend the edges with a marker to create dimension. Then, add highlights with a white gel pen. Finally, cut out the alien greeting word using a silver cardstock die and attach it to complete the card. While making these cards, I enjoyed using my stashes to create textures of the planet. I plan to create more cards with my stashes for this collection in the future. I hope these cards inspire many of you. Happy crafting! XOXO, Heejung
