Your MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team is here again with six inspiring cards using this color palette. Let's see what has been going on in their creative minds. Alice got inventive with the Four Way Chevron Cover-Up Die-namics. What a clever way to use just portions of the cover-up to feature the four colors from MFT Color Challenge 27! Erin Lee created a mug full of fresh poppies and layed them against a neutral striped background. I love how she situated the stripes horizontally to give the mug a place to rest. It almost appears like it's sitting on the kitchen windowsill. Jill used the Fringe Die-namics to feature the colors, and her ingenious use of the Stitched Basic Edges Die-namics adds a subtle curve to the fringe. The only neutral she used was gold and a tiny bit of white stitching giving this design a super saturated look. Miriam took the two shades of orange as a chance to create pretty flowers with the Scribble Roses stamp set and Die-namics. The Green Room leaves are a logical next step, and the orange flowers look perfect on a Blueberry background — the complementary color of orange. Well played! Vera created SUCH a pretty background by using the four colors in conjunction with the Blissful Blooms stamp set. The jaunty angle of the sentiment gives this card a fresh and unexpected look. Veronica shows another SUPER inventive way to create using the Four Way Chevron Cover-Up. Once she die cut the background, she stamped on it to give it some depth, and then she eliminated the negative portions of the die. Next she layered it over a rectangle in her signature layering style. Top it all of with a pretty butterfly and lush roses, and the colors become the star of the show! Congratulations, Mandy LaCroix!
