I'm in full Valentine mode, in case you haven't noticed. My Mom sends us Valentines each year and I want to continue that tradition, so I make them for all my family, and for friends, too. Here's the latest, a CASE of one by Lisa Addesa. I loved her idea, and this was fun to make too! supplies: white and shades of pink to red cardstocks, Nestabilities scalloped heart dies, 2 flower punches, (unknown manufacturer and as old as the hills), tiny pearls, Hero Arts sentiment from Truly Appreciated For my heart base, I die cut a large heart, and then die-cut a smaller one from that, to form a rough base on which to build up my flowers. I must say that as much as I love my dies, it was so much easier to punch out these flowers! Each flower was shaped a bit before gluing onto the base, and then I added some tiny pearls to the centers of the most prominent flowers. The heart was then popped up on my card base after stamping my sentiment. This one is definitely not mailable without alot of extra expense, so it will be hand-delivered to a neighbor or a friend. Thanks for stopping by!
