Πολύ συχνά στην επικοινωνία μου με ανθρώπους που θέλουν να φτιάξουν ένα ξύλινο σπίτι έρχομαι αντιμέτωπος με μια πλήρως εσφαλμένη αντίληψη. Πολλοί πιστεύουν ότι ένα ξύλινο σπίτι δεν χρειάζεται να έχει μόνωση αλλά αρκεί απλά ο εξωτερικός κορμός για να έχει κανείς ένα αρκετά καλά μονωμένο σπίτι. Αυτό είναι ένα μεγάλο λάθος και αποφάσισα να γράψω για αυτό δυο λόγια. Αφορμή γι’ αυτό στάθηκε η συνάντηση μου στην έκθεση Κατασκευές με κάποιον κύριο ο οποίος στη συνομιλία που είχαμε μου εξιστόρησε το χρονικό της κατασκευής του μικρού του εξοχικού σε ορεινή περιοχή της χώρας μας . Ο συνομιλητής μου είχε κατασκευάσει πριν τρία περίπου χρόνια ένα σπίτι 50 μ2. Η εταιρεία που το είχε αναλάβει δεν τον συμβούλεψε να βάλει επιπλέον μόνωση και αυτός ήταν σύμφωνος με αυτό μιας και το κόστος από όσα μου είπε ήταν ιδιαιτέρως χαμηλό. Όταν εγκαταστάθηκε στο σπίτι και ειδικά όταν έμεινε εκεί το πρώτο χειμώνα για 15 συνεχόμενες ημέρες παρατήρησε τα μειονεκτήματα του σπιτιού που είχε κατασκευάσει. Το σπίτι ζεσταινόταν πολύ γρήγορα (λόγω της θερμοχωρητικότητας του ξύλου) αλλά για να διατηρήσει τη θερμότητα έπρεπε να είναι συνεχώς αναμμένη η θέρμανση η οποία αποτελείτο από ηλεκτρικούς θερμοπομπούς και ένα ανοικτό τζάκι. Επίσης παρατήρησε ότι μεγάλες ποσότητες αέρα περνούσαν από τις γωνίες του σπιτιού αλλά και περιμετρικά των κουφωμάτων. Τελικό χτύπημα ήταν ο επόμενος λογαριασμός του ρεύματος που παρόλο που είχαν διανυκτερεύσει στο εξοχικό τους 15 ημέρες ο λογαριασμός διμήνου ήταν μεγαλύτερος από αυτό της μόνιμης κατοικίας τους. Πέρσι έκανε μια εκτεταμένη ανακατασκευή με μεγάλο κόστος και επένδυσε εξωτερικά με σκελετό έξτρα μόνωση και ξύλινο ραμποτέ όλο το σπίτι και επανατοποθέτησε κουφώματα, άλλαξε τις ποδιές ανακαλύπτοντας καινούργιες πατέντες γιατί φυσικά οι παλιές ποδιές ήταν μικρότερες κλπ. Τώρα έχει ένα σπίτι που σαφώς χρειάζεται λιγότερη θέρμανση, εξωτερικά δεν έχει το κορμό που είχε αλλά μικρότερου πάχους σανίδες, με ότι σημαίνει αυτό και έχει πληρώσει παραπάνω από ότι θα του στοίχιζε να γίνει από την αρχή σωστά. Πολλοί θα πουν ότι αν είχε βάλει μεγαλύτερο κορμό δεν θα είχε γίνει αυτό. Λάθος σε καμιά περίπτωση πλέον ο απλός κορμός δεν είναι ικανοποιεί τις απαιτήσεις θερμομόνωσης του νέου Κανονισμού Ενεργειακής Απόδοσης. Δείτε στον πιο κάτω πίνακα του συντελεστές θερμοπερατότητας για τέσσερεις διαφορετικές περιπτώσεις : Σύμφωνα με τον νέο Κανονισμό Ενεργειακής Απόδοσης των Κτηρίων ο συντελεστής θερμοπερατότητας για τους εξωτερικούς τοίχους ανάλογα με την κλιματική ζώνη είναι : ΔΟΜΙΚΟ ΣΤΟΙΧΕΙΟ ΣΥΜΒΟΛΟ Συντελεστής θερμοπερατότητας [W/m2.K] ΚΛΙΜΑΤΙΚΗ ΖΩΝΗ Α Β Γ Δ Εξωτερικοί τοίχοι σε επαφή με τον εξωτερικό αέρα kW 0,60 0,50 0,44 0,33 Οι κλιματικές ζώνες για όλους τους νομούς της Ελλάδας είναι : ΚΛΙΜΑΤΙΚΗ ΖΩΝΗ ΝΟΜΟΙ ΖΩΝΗ Α Ηράκλειο, Χανιά, Ρέθυμνο, Λασίθι, Κυκλάδες, Δωδεκάνησα, Σάμος, Μεσσηνία, Λακωνία, Αργολίδα, Ζάκυνθος, Κεφαλονιά, Ιθάκη ΖΩΝΗ Β Κορινθία, Ηλεία, Αχαΐα, Αιτωλοακαρνανία, Φθιώτιδα, Φωκίδα, Βοιωτία, Αττική, Εύβοια, Μαγνησία, Σποράδες, Λέσβος, Χίος, Κέρκυρα, Λευκάδα, Θεσπρωτία, Πρέβεζα, Άρτα ΖΩΝΗ Γ Αρκαδία, Ευρυτανία, Ιωάννινα, Λάρισα, Καρδίτσα, Τρίκαλα, Πιερία, Ημαθία, Πέλλα, Θεσσαλονίκη, Κιλκίς, Χαλκιδική, Σέρρες, Καβάλα, Δράμα, Θάσος, Σαμοθράκη, Ξάνθη, Ροδόπη, Έβρος ΖΩΝΗ Δ Γρεβενά, Κοζάνη, Καστοριά, Φλώρινα Αυτό δείχνει σαφώς ότι η πρώτη περίπτωση με απλό ξύλινο τοιχίο 125 χιλ με συντελεστή θερμοπερατότητας 0,89 δεν καλύπτει τις απαιτήσεις καμιάς περιοχής στην Ελλάδα(0,60-0,33), αλλά ίσως είναι καλός για την Αφρική. Η δεύτερη περίπτωση με κορμό 190 χιλ και συντελεστή 0,61 θα ήταν οριακά μη επιτρεπτή για την Κρήτη και τις Κυκλάδες (0,60). Η Τρίτη περίπτωση που όλοι γνωρίζουμε σαν την πιο κοινή με διπλό δρομικό τούβλο και 50 χιλ μόνωση με συντελεστή 0,55 θα είναι πλέον ικανοποιητική μόνο για τα Νησιά(0,60) και οριακά μη αποδεχτή για την Πελοπόννησο και τη Στερεά Ελλάδα(0,50). Η τελευταία λύση υπερκαλύπτει με συντελεστή θερμοπερατότητας 0,27 όλες τις περιοχές της Ελλάδας και σε μεγάλο υψόμετρο . Όσα λοιπόν ξύλινα σπίτια θα κατασκευάζονται στην Ελλάδα με καινούργια άδεια από τον Ιούνιο και μετά που θα ισχύει ο Νέος ΚΕΝΑΚ (και εφόσον εφαρμόζεται αυτή ή δεν μπαλαμουτιάζεται η μελέτη) δεν θα έχουν πλέον απλά και μόνο το εξωτερικό κορμό αλλά και επιπλέον μόνωση γιατί αυτό είναι το σωστό για ένα ζεστό σπίτι με μικρή κατανάλωση σύμφωνα με τον καινούργιο κανονισμό ενεργειακής απόδοσης των κτηρίων.
