J'ai promis des photos de mes Serviettes Hygiéniques Lavables (SHL) sur le forum bébé nature il y a quelques temps donc je m'éxécute. (et comme je suis super nulle et que je sais pas mettre des photos sur le forum, je les mets ici ...) Et puis, comme je devais complèter mon stock, j'en ai profité pour faire un petit tuto. Donc, pour commencer, voici celles que j'avais déjà en stock : Celle de gauche n'est pas une fabrication maison, j'avais commencé par en acheter une pour tester et voir comment c'était fait. C'est une de la marque "Lunapads", on les trouve très facilement sur le net. Les 3 autres sont des fabrications maison dans différents tissus pour essayer de trouver ce qui me convient le mieux. La "rouge" est un test dans un velour milleraies (partie absorbante en coton) ce qui n'est pas très souple et un peu épais donc peu confortable. La "bordeaux" est découpée dans un vieux tee-shirt (partie absorbante : microfibre + coton), c'est super souple et agréable à porter le top pour le moment. Et enfin, celle avec les petites fleurs est encore le résultat d'un recyclage mais cette fois ci d'une vieille taie de traversin en coton (partie absorbante en coton) c'est très fin mais moins souple que le tee-shirt et le pression alu c'est pas une bonne idée. Et maintenant, le tuto (un peu différent de ma façon de faire habituelle mais je voulais que le PUL soit visible). Voici les différentes étapes : 1/ Tout d'abord, il faut un patron. On en trouve plusieurs sur le net, le mien vient de là (en plus il y a plein d'explications sur l'utilité des lavables et même un tuto mais ma façon de faire est un peu différente). J'utilise le patron 1 (protège slip ou serviette mini) mais, vous pouvez faire la même chose avec le patron 2 (serviette normale) ça dépend de vos besoins. Personnellement le 1 me suffit. 2/ Les découpes : Ici j'ai prévu 2 épaisseurs de microfibre pour la partie absorbante, une chute de PUL imprimé "Girafe" pour l'étanchéité et de la suédine blanche pour le confort. Pour la suédine et le PUL, je laisse volontairement une grande marge de couture, je trouve que c'est plus facile pour piquer les courbes. 3/ J'assemble les 2 épaisseurs de tissu absorbant avec un point zigzag (ce n'est pas indispensable mais, ça évite que ça bouge pas la suite) 4/ Je positionne puis je pique la partie absorbante sur l'envers de la suédine avec un point droitCette fois ci je me suis amusée à rajouter 2 petites coutures en plus. Je ne sais pas si ça peut avoir une utilité quelconque mais, je trouvais que ça faisait joli ! (j'ai pas de photo de ce que ça donne sur l'endroit, j'ai fait ça hier soir et il n'y avait pas de lumière donc on voit rien) 5/ Epingler (dans les marges de couture pour préserver l'étanchéité du PUL) le PUL et la suédine endroit contre endroit Puis piquer au point droit le contour de la serviette en suivant le trait. Attention de laisser une ouverture (ici entre les 2 traits violets) pour pouvoir tout retourner ensuite ! 6/ Couper les marges à 2/3 milimètres de la couture (un petit peu plus au niveau de l'ouverture) Puis retourner : 7/ Maintenant il faut refermer l'ouverture. Pour ça, je fais une piqure au point droit tout autour de la serviette à environ 1 mm du bord 8/ Pour finir, il suffit de coudre un bouton pression. Et voilà le résultat : Intérieur Extérieur : Et pliée : Maintenant il ne me reste plus qu'à tester (ce qui ne devrait malheureusement plus tarder ...) pour voir ce que ça donne. Pour info, d'habitude je ne double pas toute la serviette de tissu absorbant, juste la partie centrale. En fait, je commence par les étapes 5 / 6 et 7 mais en utilisant 2 épaisseurs de coton. Ensuite, je réalise l'étape 1 en utilisant une épaisseur de PUL + une épaisseur de microfibre + une épaisseur de coton pour que la microfibre de soit pas au contact de la peau. Et enfin, je couds la partie absorbante sur la serviette. C'est tout pour aujourd'hui ! J'espère que c'est assez clair sinon n'hésitez pas à demander. EDIT du 09/01/2009 : ça y est, j'ai testé (et oui, encore une fois ...) et c'est le top !!!! Cette SHL est super absorbante, fine, confortable... bref, on oublie presque qu'elle est là. Vivement que je reçoive ma commande de l'ArBrinic pour pouvoir en faire plein d'autres ! (par contre, pour aller avec le PUL que j'ai commandé il faudra que je trouve de la suédine rouge, le blanc c'est joli mais il reste malgré tout toujours quelques petites tâches)
