The Yamaha YDS-150 digital saxophone is a fusion of acoustic and digital technologies. It offers seamless unity in playing the saxophone. Personalize the settings, sound adjustments, fingerings and other controls of the instrument to your liking with the dedicated smartphone app. YDS Controller App The dedicated app enhances the performance of the YDS-150. It expands the range of sound creation, and includes instrument settings and sound editing. Algemeen Met de Yamaha YDS-150 saxofoon kun je overal en altijd studeren. Deze sax heeft namelijk de mogelijkheid om stil te kunnen oefenen. De YDS-150 is voorzien van een altsaxofoon mondstuk en dat is ook de standaard instelling als je de sax aan zet, maar je kunt de saxofoon zo instellen dat het een sopraan, tenor of bariton wordt. Dankzij het mondstuk, maar zeker ook dankzij Yamaha's unieke 'Integrated Bell Acoustic System' heeft deze sax een ontzettend realistische speelervaring. Dat Integrated Bell Acoustic System zorgt namelijk voor een perfecte combinatie van twee werelden: de expressiviteit die je hebt bij het spelen op een akoestisch instrument, gecombineerd met hoogwaardige digitale geluiden. Het systeem bestaat uit de koperen beker die resoneert / trilt als je blaast, maar ook de behuizing, een akoestische buis en natuurlijk de luidsprekers zijn onderdeel van dit unieke en goed doordachte systeem. Yamaha YDS-150 digitale saxofoon De YDS-150 kun je zoals gezegd instellen als sopraan, alt, tenor of bariton saxofoon. Hiervoor zijn de beste akoestische Yamaha saxofoons opgenomen, bespeeld door professionele saxofonisten. Je kunt de tonaliteit, de klankkleur en het bereik van ieder type saxofoon instellen en voor ieder type saxofoon zijn er meerdere keuzes. Als je klassiek speelt kun je daar voor kiezen, maar speel je jazz dan kies je waarschijnlijk voor de samples die daar bij horen. In totaal heeft de YDS-150 maar liefst 73 instrumentgeluiden, waarvan 56 sax voices. Die 56 sax voices zul je waarschijnlijk het vaakst gaan gebruiken, maar wil je eens klinken als een tin whistle dan kan dat ook! Aansluitmogelijkheden Krijg je midden in de nacht ineens inspiratie om te studeren? Geen probleem! Je kunt een hoofdtelefoon aansluiten en niemand zal last van je hebben! Het is zelfs mogelijk om een smartphone of andere audiospeler aan te sluiten op de aux-in ingang. Zowel de hoofdtelefoon- als de aux-in zijn standaard 3.5 mm jack ingangen. Verder heb je ook nog een USB to host mogelijkheid - een micro USB type B. De YDS-150 kun je op batterijen laten werken, maar je kunt ook een USB-adapter gebruiken. Als je de sax een poosje niet gebruikt schakelt hij automatisch uit. Tot slot is er ook nog de optie om de sax te verbinden met je smartphone en gebruik te maken van de YDS bedienings-app. Hiermee krijg je diverse instellings-mogelijkheden die je op het instrument zelf niet hebt. Het is dus zeker aan te raden deze gratis te downloaden app eens te proberen! Yamaha levert een compleet mondstuk met riet bij deze sax, en je ontvangt ook een draagband en een softcase.
