Hello Everyone! One wonderful perk about the 15 hour drive home? I was able to put the finishing touches on my Landforms unit. This unit is coming up in our curriculum, so I'm glad I had time to organize and put everything together. This mini unit includes almost 70 pages of learning centered around exploration of landforms. There are some social studies activities (of course), some ELA (abc order, vocabulary, antonyms, written expression), some math, and a couple of craft connections. Hello Everyone! While looking through my plans for the next couple of weeks, I realized I hadn't shared my mini family unit. We study the family this time of year as a celebration of what family is, why it is important, and especially the wants and needs of families. I love learning about the different traditions, cultures, celebrations (small and major) that envelope my kiddos. Learning about the differences in our families helps us appreciate our friends and relationships. I love the "melting pot" that classrooms have become. Wir lieben Pancakes - am liebsten mit viel frischem Obst, Sirup und etwas frischem Joghurt! Kein Wunder also, dass wir auch den neuen Trend "Pancake Cereal Bowl" sofort ausprobiert haben.
