It's back! The 2016 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop is underway... and I was able to get a card made tonight using the wonderful new digi set from Verve Stamps - I really adore this sentiment! Pattern
Oh, what fun to play in the 2016 Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop! For my card, I used Stampendous Changito Cocoa stamp, the sentiment is from the Paper Smooches Winter Groves stamp set. I'm linking my card HERE in the Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.
Hi there!!! Thank you so much for coming by the blog today! If you're here for Day 3 of our December Release Hop please CLICK HERE. I'm very excited to be participating and a sponsor of today's Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! Today's hop is all about Winter and the holidays and of course.....COFFEE!!! As of just today, Lil' Inker Designs is re-launching our popular Coffee Cozy Stamp Set along with a brand new and improved Coffee Cozy Die Set! Have a look! First up - our refreshed stamp set includes a more modern take on our very popular, original Coffee Cozy Stamp Set released in 2011. We've made this set into a more wallet-friendly 4 x 6 set which is $15 instead of $24. YAY! It also features improved and fresher fonts which also happen to coordinate with our Coffee Talk Stamps. Woo hoo! We've kept some of the original sentiments that you love but have also added in some new ones too. You also now have two options for "steam" stamps. A new favorite sentiment in this set is, "I'm sorry for what I said before I had my coffee". Isn't that cute? it's great for an any occasion card or to even send an apology to a friend. This set is super-useful for lots of occasions including friendship as well as for a laugh! We've also brought your a new and improved version of our Coffee Cozy Die Set. We thought it would be really great to give you a new and improved coffee cup die to coordinate with our new and improved Coffee Cozy Stamps for 2015! The cute, coffee cup shape remains with just a few improvements like to the lid which now features a scored detail and a better coffee cozy which now features a stitching detail. We've also added in a stitched, steam swirl die too! This die will cut the detail right into your paper. Love! Pair this new die set with our new Coffee Cozy Stamps and it will also coordinate with our Coffee Talk Stamp set too! For a limited time or while supplies last our existing Coffee Cozy Die set is marked down. The new stamps and dies are available now for Pre-Order and we expect that they'll begin to ship to you right after Christmas. I had a chance to play with these new goodies and they're SO FUN! I whipped up this little art piece for you. I LOVE making cards but I really love using my paper crafting supplies to make home decor as well which is why I designed our Mini Canvas Die. I've put all these things together to create this fun little coffee project with a holiday theme! This was super fun to make! I started by die cutting a red mini canvas. These are great to mail because they 're flat before assembling. Then, I used my new Coffee Cozy Dies to create this CUTE coffee cup which I've decorated with a heart die from our Of the Hearts Die Set and holly leaves from our Holly Jolly Die Set. The sentiment from our new Coffee Cozy Stamps was stamped and trimmed up and affixed as shown. This was not only fun but quick to make too! Oh and how can I forget....I die cut my stitched steam onto vellum paper which I then trimmed out by hand. Here's a look at everything I used from our store to create this project: Isn't this a cute gift for a coffee lover in your life? I've got this one displayed in my kitchen and I love it! For a limited time, our Mini Canvas Die is on sale and so are our existing Coffee Cozy Dies while supplies last. Like I mentioned above, Lil' Inker Designs is also sponsoring this blog hop. To be eligible to win our prize or a prize from one of the many amazing sponsors be sure to make something with a winter or holiday theme showing off your favorite coffee-themed supplies and link it to the challenge. Click Here to read up on all the details. You could win a $35 Gift Certificate to our store! YAY! I hope you like the project I made to share with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Go enjoy the Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Have a FABULOUS and coffee-filled day! Love,
Hello everyone! Today, is my day to post for The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. I love coffee, cocoa, and tea so I thought it would be fun to participate in the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. THEME: Winter/Holiday USE: coffee, tea &/or cocoa images National Cocoa Day 12/13 International Tea Day 12/15 You can click HERE to find out all of the details and see all of the fantastic cards. Here is the card I designed. I used the Altenew - Coffee Love stamp set and the Graphic 45 - St. Nicholas 8 x 8 Collection. I stamped the coffee pot and cups using Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the images on to the pattern paper and then I fussy cut the images. For the mug and coffee pot I added a little bit of color to the heart and the rim of the coffee pot with a Copic Marker R89. Here is a close up of the coffee pot and cups. The coffee pot is adhered flat to the card front and then I used Therm-O-Web Foam Squares to add some dimension to the coffee cups. I used the coffee bean stamp across the top and bottom of the card and I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Antique Linen. I used a Zig Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen to add some sparkle to the coffee pot, cups, and the coffee beans. Here is a close up of the sentiment. I added a little more of the Graphic 45 - St. Nicholas paper along the bottom half of the card. Then I added some May Arts 1.5" Sheer Wrinkled Edge Red Ribbon and a Petaloo Botanica Collection Red Minis flower to the center of the bow. I used a black fine tip marker to add a little detail to look like steam coming from the cups. I added the card front to an A2 top folding deep red card base and that finished off the card. I hope you enjoyed today's card! If you are a coffee, cocoa, or tea lover I encourage you to check out the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and join in the fun. Please be sure to visit The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store for all of your paper crafting goodies. Also don't forget to check out the Stamp Simply Blog for more inspiration from the design team. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your weekend! Hello....popping in with a quick post and one more card for the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I always love playing along with them. For my card I used all SugarPea Designs stamps and dies, so fun and festive. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by....enjoy your week!
Happy International Tea Day! I couldn't let this day go by without sharing a second card for the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, especially when it involves tea. I had an abundance of colored teacups and teapots in my stash of diecuts that made for a super quick card. I stamped a Natural card base with Balloon Strings in Versamark, then arranged five stacked teacups over it. The sentiment was white embossed and the card was done. So happy to be celebrating with tea on this hop! Thanks for stopping by! InLinkz.com

Hello!!! As many of you know the Coffee Lovers Winter blog hop starts today and I have a card that I made for the hop using Hero Arts Coffee Cups Tags and the matching dies. The layout for the card is based on the current Freshly Made Sketches layout. This card is going to the gals who work at the Starbucks that I frequent so I went with a Starbucks Christmas inspired design. The papers used are from the Teresa Collins Santa's List 6x6 pad. I die cut the cup from the snowflake patterned paper and then the lid and the wrap from another piece from the pad and then stamped them with the matching images using green ink. The little bit of holly was stamped in the same green and then die cut with the matching die. The sentiment was stamped in a red ink that matched the snowflake paper. The snowflake (from A Jillian Vance Design) was die cut from silver glitter cardstock because well... glitter makes everything better, right??? I was delighted to see that the die cut snowflake matches the little snowflakes in the pattern perfectly!! Another piece of paper from the same pad was trimmed into a square and then everything layered up as you see on a white cardstock panel. Since I'm not a coffee drinker my little cup is full to the brim with a yummy Starbucks Chai Latte made with soy milk! With my icy looking snowflake I'm going to add this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge of Ice Inspired and to Lori's Visions of Sugarplums challenge. Hope you have a wonderful day... happy hopping!! Supplies: Cardstock: red, white, silver glitter cardstock; Stamps: Hero Arts; Dies: Hero Arts and A Jillian Vance Design; Inks: Stampin Up! Real Red and Emerald Envy
This is my final card for this season's blog hop. The image is the same as my previous card, I made three, but this has different paper and I attached silver stars on the band. I began by stenciling the chevron lightly with SU! ink and then die cut with the scalloped die, and stamped the sentiment. A piece of kraft card stock was embossed and trimmed. I assembled the coffee cup and attached to mounting foam. I angled the pieces as I wanted the imprint to show on the embossed piece. http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2016/12/2017-winter-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/ Supplies: Paper - Neenah, SU! Hello, friends! It has been quite a while since I have been by the blog...a lot has happened in the past few months that has taken me away from crafting for a bit, but I am happy to be back. Today I'm sharing a card made for two challenges: (1) The Paper Players PP676: A Color Challenge from LeAnne using pinks, gray and white. (2) Taylored Expressions #TEMakerChallenge for February featuring two shades of pink (Bubblegum and Dragon Fruit) plus one color of choice. I choose to use Oyster as my gray option. My card features the Taylored Expressions Mandala Layering Stencil paired with the Foil It: Mandala Layering card foiled in silver. I CASED a card made by Jen Shults (at Deconstructing Jen) but used the challenge colors and a different sentiment. Here is the mini slim card I made for my husband for Valentine's Day: Taylored Expressions Supplies Used: Stamps: All Together Occasions 2 Stencils: Mandala Layering Stencil set Inks: Bubblegum, Dragon Fruit, Oyster, Oreo Dies: All Together Occasions 2, Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets, Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets Other: Silver Deco Foil, black foam backer (sentiment) Thank you, as always, for stopping by! Take good care, Judy
Happy Friday everyone! I apologize in advance for bombarding your emails with my posts today. I belong to a couple of design teams, and we are participating in the Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop. …
Happy National Hot Cocoa Day! I'm joining the 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with a card celebrating this auspicious and tummy warming day. Personally, I don't remember the last time that I had a some hot cocoa, but I do remember that mini marshmallows were involved. I totally CASE'd my MFT teammie Laurie's card. I used the Stitched Jumbo Fishtail STAX and cut them from Milk Chocolate card stock. Two mugs were cut from watercolor card stock and ink distressed in holiday colors. I added the cocoa and mini marshmallows inside the mug, and a small snowflake on the outside of each mug. I created a hinge on the largest banner so the card could stand and open. The sentiment was white embossed on the second largest banner, and adhered to the card base with dimensional adhesive. Lastly, the mugs were adhered beneath the sentiment. I love shaped cards--thanks, Laurie! Big thanks to Amy and her helpers for rounding up the awesome sponsors and pulling off another successful hop! InLinkz.com

To start at the beginning of the 2016 Winter/Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop please click HERE. Now on to my project! I've created a winter scene with two cute hedgehogs cozying up to each other trying to warm up with an Eggnog Latte! Hey Hedgehogs drink coffee right? I used the cute hedgehog stamps from Gerda Steiner Designs. Hedgehog with Latte and Hedgehog with sign. For each hedgehog I gave them opposite colors for their scarf and latte cup. That way the latte cup will pop and not get lost in the scene. I decided to use the leafy tree backdrop die from Lawn Fawn to set my scene. By cutting out the tree die and hill in white it gave it a more wintery look! One little trick that I did was I cut along the scarf line on the stamped image of hedgehog with sign to remove his head and then glued it on the stamped image of hedgehog with Latte. Just a little tip on getting more use out of these two stamps! You can visit my YouTube Channel to see the process video on this card. Just click here! SCRAPPINSTAMPERS I thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoy the hop!!

Hi friends! Today is the kickoff to the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. It's that time when we get to see visions of coffee dancing through blogland for an entire week! Verve is a sponsor once again, plus I've designed a limited time free digital set you can download over in the Verve shop. Today's card uses two of the digis from the My Cup to Yours digi set printed on white cardstock. I cut the cup with the Cuppa Joe Die Set (yep, the digi works with the die, so hooray!), then cut the sentiment with a stitched circle die and sponged inside with antique linen. I wanted to add a gift card holder to my card to tuck in a Starbucks card, so designed a simple little pocket to hold one. It's a 2.75" x 3.25" piece of cardstock, scored 0.25" from each of three sides. I ran it through my Big Shot with a snowflake embossing folder and also punched a notch in the top center with a 1/2" circle punch. I then folded the three sides under and used score tape to adhere to a 2-3/8" x 3-1/8" panel of black cardstock. I finished with some fun My Mind's Eye paper, a greena bow and silver jingle bells. For another card from me using this new freebie, head on over to the Verve Blog for our Super Sponsor post! Just make a winter themed coffee, tea or cocoa project and link it up to the official Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop post for a chance to win one of the fabulous prizes! The hop runs through next Friday, December 16. Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day! Hello, friends! I am back for Day 6 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I'm also playing along with the current STAMPlorations December CAS Challenge in which the optional color twist is red and green. Along those lines, I'll also share this card in the STAMPlorations Never-ending Anything Goes Challenge. Today's card features a STAMPlorations die and a Hampton Art sentiment stamp that I actually won during the Fall CLBH (thanks again, Gloria!). I think I am going to slip this into my husband's lunch bag...I can't think of anyone better to give it to! I used a stripe of red and green on the left edge of the card, and I added the red glitter heart atop of the brown glitter coffee cup. It's hard to see, but this card has lots of sparkle! Supplies: Stamps: Hampton Art - Gloria Stengel Designs Inks: green Copic marker; Antique Linen distress ink Dies: STAMPlorations (Coffee Cup Silhouette); country heart punch Other: DCWV glitter card stock (red, brown); patterned paper Thank you so much for visiting today! I managed to squeak in just under the wire for the deadline today with the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I used a couple of Verve digi images and resurrected an oldie but goodie holly border punch by Martha Stewart that paired up well with the image. Papers are from Recollections' Christmas/Noel packet. It was another bone chilling day here in VA with temps only getting up to 25 degrees. A cup of coffee was definitely how I started my day! Thanks for stopping by...
How is it possible that at the start of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop (LOVE these hops!) that I'm traveling for work -- for the next four days?!! Well, I thought I'd just make the best of it by humming a Christmas tune with a travel mug of coffee in hand -- AND having a card ready to mark the occasion! For my card, I used STAMPlorations Anywhere There's Coffee stamps and die which I stamped/cut from pattern paper. Then, I decorated the cup stamping the little snowflakes on the bottom and adding this cute deer and sentiment (tag) from the Christmas Deer. To finish, I made the bow from Paper Sweeties Frosty Seam Binding and added these adorable Paper Sweeties Rusty Bells. I'm joining the fun at these challenges: Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop Cardz 4 Guys - Christmas Animal The Male Room - Christmas, Winter & Dec. Celebrations Dragonfly Journeys - Christmas Critters Animal Friends - Christmas (w/animal) Holly Jolly Christmas - Card or Anything But a Card Die Cut Divas - Layers Kylie's 12 Days of Christmas Cards
We're just a little more than a week away from Christmas - yay! I still feel like a kid during this time of year. I love the lights, sparkle and shine of this holiday and since I live in the midwest, the only "green" to enjoy are the evergreens! This little cutie is one of the images from The Greeting Farm's set: Mini-Remix Brewtiful and the lovely evergreens are from a sweet set from Elle's Studio: 'Tis The Season. For the background, I used a couple pattern papers from a delightful collection: Elle's Studio 'Tis The Season Paper Stack! Mini-Remix Brewtiful 'Tis The Season 'Tis the Season Paper Stack I'm excited to submit my card in these challenges: Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop
Hello, friends! I am back for Day 2 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop sharing a card I also made for the current challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More #223 where the theme this week is "Holiday." Today I made a card using one of my favorite Santa images designed by Jane's Doodles. While I have an old digi image of this Santa, you can find him in the "Mr. & Mrs. Claus" set at the JD store. Isn't he just the coolest Santa? I gave him a green coffee mug to add to the holiday spirit and covered it in Glossy Accents (along with his glasses) for some fun shine. Supplies: Stamps: Jane's Doodles (Santa Peace) Dies: Simon Says Stamp (Stitched Squares); PTI (Wonderful Words - Holiday Collection) Inks: MFT (Black Licorice); Copic markers Other: Glossy Accents; red glitter sticker foam; Sizzix embossing folder That's it for today. I'll be back tomorrow with another card for the Winter CLBH...my goal is to have one for every day of the hop! Thanks for stopping by! Judy

You can read all the details about my card over at the Precious Remembrance Shop blog. Thanks for stopping by! Judy
My husband asked me to make a thank you card for his boss since the company redistricted and he'll be moving on to another team. I asked him what interests his boss has and he immediately responded "Well, he's always drinking coffee. We joke about it all the time!" Perfect! I immediately thought Starbucks red cup, so I made my own using a die from MFT Stamps. I cut a watercolor panel with a die and then blended in three different blue inks to create an ombre sky. I flicked a little water over the top to look like falling snow and then used the Stitched Flourish dies from Paper Smooches to add a little texture to the background to look like it was windy. I cut a snowbank panel using a landscape die and then adhered it to my background with some double-sided tape. I adhered the whole panel to a card base with the same double-sided tape and then used my MISTI to stamp my sentiment to the left of the cup of coffee. I used foam tape to adhere the cup for a little bit of dimension. Since this is going to a man, I decided to leave off my typical sparkle and sequins. Love how it turned out! I decided to enter this card into three challenges because it works so perfectly! First up is the Winter Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop! Next up are the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge (Let it Snow) and Wednesday Challenge with an icy inspiration mood board. Back to Christmas for my 5th card for the Coffee Lover's Fall/Winter Blog hop! I've had this Santa's Wish Colorize die for at least a year and haven't made him yet - so today was the day! The fun sentiment is from Waltzingmouse (retired) and, again, I've used a Paper Cut Cafe Mug (I just love the steam!) There's just one more day (Friday) to play along with the Coffee Lovers blog hop - check it out here. I'm also linking my card to: Just Us Girls Red and Green Christmas Craft Creations November: add a hat NBUS First time using the Santa die. Stamps: Santa's Coming to Town - Waltzingmouse (retired) Ink: Ruby Red - Altenew Paper: Sweet Blush - PTI, Hammered White - Amazon, Caramel Apple and Red Hot - Bazzill, DP Make It Merry - Honey Bee. Accessories: Santas Wish Colorize Die, Paper Cut Cafe - Tim Holtz/Sizzix, Brown Copic, Foam Dots.
One more for both the Coffee Lovers Bloghop & Lawnscaping Let it Snow! I am in love with this bear! It's Neat & Tangled Beary Awesome set. I paper pieced his scarf with some Carta Bella plaid washi tape (pieced separately because I'm insane!) The travel mug (cocoa? chai eggnog?) is from Lawn Fawn Love You a Latte. I embossed a frame with a Gina Maries scalloped circle die and then stamped & heat embossed some snowflakes within the circle. I also stamped some in white ink without embossing which gave the snow some depth. A bit of acrylic paint spatters finish the background. All of these images & dies are available at The Heart Desires Store- one of the sponsors of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop! There's even a sale- 10% off your order by using code 2016WCLBH I will be drawing 3 names on Sunday from comments left on all of my coffee posts this week to give away a Starbucks gift card and 2 little bundles of ribbon! ETA: Random.org chose 3 winners! (15, 56, 3) Shelly, Redhead & Helen F!
It's most definitely sweater weather! I think it's so funny that "ugly Christmas sweaters" are actually cool now! If I had a Christmas sweater with a coffee cup on it, it would be anything but ugly...how could it be...I mean we're talkin' coffee here!! My card started with Stampin Up's knit embossing folder for the background and - of course - the sweater die cut. That die cut is from Simon Says Stamp, by the way. The frame die is from My Favorite Things, cup from Verve Stamps and the sentiment is Paper Smooches. How's that for an equal opportunity card? :) Thanks to these challenges for the inspiration: Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop Kylie's 25 Days of Christmas Cards Simon Says Stamp - Ice Inspiration Creative Corner - Christmas Time
Hello, friends! Happy Monday! I am back again for Day 4 of the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! Today I made a card using some free digital images shared with us last winter by Verve -- they are now available for purchase as part of the set called "Coffee Helps." However, in case you are interested, Verve is offering yet another free digital set during this Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop called "My Cup to Yours" and it is available for download until December 31st! I printed this awesome sentiment and sweet cup onto white card stock, then die cut both and mounted to a pretty patterned paper. (I also mounted the circle on foam for some dimension.) A few sparkly snowflakes, some glitter pen outlines, and a coat of Glossy Accents on the mug finished it off! Supplies: Stamps: Verve (Coffee Helps digital set) Inks: Copic markers Dies: MFT (Vertical Greetings); Simon Says Stamp (Stitched Circles); Reverse Confetti (dashed edge - name?) Other: Glossy Accents; snowflake sequins; foam; Sakura Glitter Pen Thank you for visiting today! Judy

With Christmas about a week and a half away, preparations - and then some - are in full swing for sure at our house! It's been a tad hectic with work travels, my daughter home from college, needing to ship gifts (tomorrow!) and getting the house back in order. But, of course, I needed to get away to my craft room and had a great reason to (not that I need a reason, but I felt a little less guilty)...today starts STAMPlorations Stencil Blog Hop! Do you need a little excuse to get away to your craft area? Then join the fun!! The hop runs until December 20th! For my card, I used all STAMPlorations goodies starting with ARTplorations Stencils: Plaid Maker and Holly Background Mini. When gold embossing the berries, some of the powder got on the holly leaves (oops), but I really like the result! Using pattern paper, I stamped and cut the cup from After Coffee stamping the deer image on one of the cups from Nordic Knit Tag and then cut gold shiny cardstock using CUTplorations Warm Winter Wishes word die. Today's the day we all get to rejoice in the wonderment that is coffee!! How much do I love thee, let me count the ways. Well, that would take far too long! I am blessed to be in the company of tons of other amazing coffee lovers and card makers. What a great mix so make sure you check out all the amazing creations all along the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop. Here's the card I created for this super fun hop. I started my card with this fun hello patterned paper. I cut a Dual Dotted Circle from black and then added some Dual Stitched Triangle Dies before adding a cup of amazing looking coffee using the new Lil' Inker Designs Latte Love Stamps and Latte Love Dies. This set is AMAZING!! Totally a must have if you are a coffee lover. I used this cute sentiment to create a coordinating sentiment strip with a touch of vellum at the bottom. Finally, some wooden snowflakes and sequins finish the card off. Here's a closer look: I was having so much fun with the Latte Love Stamps and Latte Love Dies that I just couldn't stop there! I had to try embossing the coffee/milk with white and then restamping into the liquid embossing with the stamp and some brown ink. This is how it turned out: I went with another black and white background and more words. Ha ha! I really like black and white. I layered a piece of wood grain paper cut using Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles and then another black and white paper cut using Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles with some fun snowflake shapes. Next, my paper pieced mug created with the Latte Love Stamps and Latte Love Dies are layered with two sentiment flags that I think are perfect for this warm and cozy card. A few clear sequins finished off the whole look. Here's a closer look so you can see the texture on the froth. Thanks so much for checking out my cards today! I hope you like my winter coffee cards and I hope you'll take part in the Winter Coffee Lovers Bloghop. There are a ton of awesome sponsors including Lil' Inker Designs. Don't miss out on all the fun! Plus, if you order the Latte Love Stamps and Latte Love Dies today or tomorrow, you will get free shipping -- use code FREECOFFEE! That's awesome!
