Leather Crafter by night. Daydreamer by necessity. All of our products are handmade in the United States (more specifically in my workshop). All of our leather is hand dyed and sourced from various locations; local and national. Your business supports a small American family and is sincerely appreciated. This listing is for ONE luggage tag (even if you see more than one pictured). If you want more than one tag choose the quantity you need during check out. THIS LISTING INCLUDES This tag is more expensive than our other tags because it takes a while to tweak the custom handwriting notes. However, it is by far one of my favorite designs. I love working with people to create completely unforgettable gifts. A couple of things to remember if you are thinking about purchasing this listing. 1. The tag is small so the note cant be too long. 2. Both sided are not for custom notes. It is just meant for one side only. The back will have just the custom information. 3 . If you want something with a larger customizable space then check our some of our other designs. We can also do this note on a passport!!! This is our handwriting section. https://www.etsy.com/shop/BrambleandBeene?ref=l2-shopheader-name§ion_id=21439149 4. The note are a bit harder to do so if it is our busy season ( Christmas ) this listing might not be available. Reach out with questions before your order. We can check out your notes first and let you know if they are correct. Picture two is an example of the note given. When writing your note it is better if the paper is WHITE ( not gray) and the pen / marker is black. If you follow these simple steps your engraving will come out super clean. Attach the note to an etsy convo but be available to be reached ( via etsy) if we have any questions. The Back of the Tag - can be personalized however you desire however, not another handwriting note just normal text. Please include any information you want on the back of the tag during check out in the notes to seller box.. We will not confirm your information. We will just cut, paste, and then engrave ( so please double check). The back is less smooth and looks a tag unfinished but that is just the texture of the leather. Suggestions for the back : Name, Number, and email ( in that order) Give us the information you want the tag personalized with during check out in the notes to seller box. This an example of what one of our customers left in the notes to seller box during check out. ************* Hello, Thank you - attached my note to a convo. On the back I want SMYTH 2018 Thank you. Please contact me if the note is not good enough. ****************************** Do you have a question? Random Tag Facts.. 1. 14.50 per tag ( one tag is 14.50). 2. The back can be personalized with the recipients information if the luggage gets lost. Name, phone number and email is best ( in that order). 3. All tags comes with the clasp which attach to the luggage. 4. if you want to create your own personalized luggage tag it is 19.50 per tag. The listing for that option is directly below. 5. Back of the tag will be customized with times new roman font or 1940s typewriter font. 6. All our tags are made by hand ( in my workshop). We are located in the United States. 7. Color is saddle brown but may vary slightly from picture. All of our tags are hand dyed so please allow for variation. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>IMPORTANT BRAMBLE FACTS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1. We can engrave any quote that you want. There are no character or word limits. 2. We do not STAMP or Letterpress our customizations. Our personalizations are burned into the leather. This means that your quote will not disappear or wear down. 3. We can also do any font size but we have a set formula that we tend to use as a guide. Sometimes the size font that you may like might not translate well.. Meaning the font could look quite large on your computer screen but will actually look small on the surface of the leather. 4. Double check the information you give us for your personalization. We will simply cut and paste your note. If it is incorrect or misspelled that will be what you see on your passport. So please take a couple of minutes and read your quote out loud ( to yourself) to make sure there are no mistakes. 5. Sometimes the leather may have a nick or a slight dye imperfection. This is because we hand make all of our items. It is not considered a flaw. We just don't produce assembly line things. We process all of our leather and try to use every possible part. We are starting to list full hides. So if you are looking for something hide oriented send us a note. Click here for more luggage tag options. www.etsy.com/shop/BrambleandBeene?section_id=17422752&ref=shopsection_leftnav_8 *********If you would like a CUSTOM LUGGAGE TAG please click on the below link more options and font choices are available… They are the same price we just have more examples and a font selection list.

The Right To Die by Tim Zeigdel Recently one of my heroes Stephen Hawking, who has ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease said, \"people with terminal illnesses should be able choose to end their lives and receive help doing so, so long as safeguards are in place.\"I grew to admire Stephen Hawking's mind after reading 'A Brief History of Time', 'The Universe in A Nutshell' and a more recent book 'The Grand Design' where with the same gravity Copernicus and Galileo brought forth better understanding of the cosmos, Hawking's gravitas brought the thought that there is no need for a god in a universe that obeys the laws of physics.I brought up this topic and others with Roy who died of ALS this past June. I was Roy's caregiver for the last year of his life though my care paled in comparison in which his family provided for him, especially his son Josh.I asked Roy if he believed in a god. He told me at the time he was agnostic leaning towards being an atheist. I could relate. When faced with such a fate the truth of ourselves, our surroundings and our understanding of the universe tends to stick to facts not faith or fancy.I also brought up the topic of assisted suicide and euthanasia; the latter being done by someone else as in the Latimer case and the former by your own hand with help from a doctor like Dr. Kevorkian.Roy was going to fight it to the end and he did bravely. In the same situation I don't think I would have. Not after watching him suffer for so long while being buried alive by the cruelty and duration of the disease. And how his suffering weighed on him and his friends and family.I'm no martyr. I believe in self determination and self deliverance--not in giving a disease or a deity or piety the last word.I would end my life. And since assisted suicide is not legal, I would have to find a way to die before the disease took my power of movement. In Quebec like B.C. the right to die debate has been fermenting for years. Quebec like in Washington and Oregon with their Death with Dignity Act, has an assisted suicide bill that is moving forward towards becoming law. Quebec has become the leader in Canada in so many ways these days while British Columbia's Civil Liberties Association appeals the ban on doctor assisted suicide. It only took a few days after Gloria Taylor was diagnosed with ALS to decide she wanted someone to help her die. Sue Rodriguez also from B.C. wanted to die with help from a physician. Both were wrangled up in court cases over it while their disease slowly and sadistically destroyed them. Many who are faced with such a fate don't want to break the law but their life like mine is their own and no one, no church or government should dictate or deny their dignity or mine the right to die.I think we show more mercy to serial killers on death row who get euthanized peacefully. But God forbid a man or a woman should want the same mercy when faced with such a fate; as to spend the last years of your life losing your legs, then your arms, as your head sinks into your shoulders--before being a prisoner in your own body that you can't move but feel every horrible thing while your lungs slowly collapse, leaving you gasping for each breath.

My kids are driving me bonkers today. They're fighting with each other over stupid, pointless things. It's almost like they're fighting just to fight. I just defused an argument between Gavin and Elliott that was very quickly exculating. While this wasn't stupid or pointless, it was completely avoidable. Gavin had been doing something, on purpose, to annoy Elliott. Elliott had asked Gavin to stop half a dozen times and but he kept right on going. Elliott eventually got up and left the room. Gavin then proceeded to follow him and that's when Elliott finally began to lose his patience. This
The full text of this tract is shown below in the NKJV version. (Do you want to print this tract in a different version than the one listed? Contact us and let us know what you're looking for—we may be able to create the alternate version for you at no charge.) “Where would I be if…?” This is a question many of us ask at one time or another. The one I ask myself often is, “Where would I be if the Lord Jesus had not revealed Himself to me?” You see, there came a time in my young life when I realized that I was lost. I was angry and unhappy. Try as I might to be good and do the right things, I failed time and time again. I believed in God but He wasn’t part of my life. There was a gap between us and I was separated from Him by my sin-—all those selfish actions, the hurtful words, the anger and unforgiveness stemming from my parents’ divorce and my Dad’s death. I needed help. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Jesus came to bridge the gap. He took all of our sins upon Himself and bore them on the cross that we might have a way back to God. He came that we might come to know God as our Father and that we might have an abundant life. He came to show us how to live for God and willingly helps us do so if we ask. I had to make a choice. Would I receive Jesus as Savior and allow Him to be Lord of my life or would I continue to try to live without Him? I chose to receive Him and it has been the best decision of my life! I am not saying that it has always been easy. We all have baggage that needs to be dealt with. Life is a journey and this includes a relationship with God. I can testify, though, that He is a faithful Father. Today, I know peace and a deep abiding sense of joy that comes from knowing His grace and goodness. He is with me in the good times and the bad. He is my Shepherd, my Father, my Best Friend and Confidant. He invites you too into a relationship with Him. He loves YOU! It all starts with recognizing your need of Him. Turn to God today and put your trust in Jesus Christ, who died for you and rose again. You can express your heart’s desire in a prayer as simple as this: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I ask your forgiveness. I believe that you died for my sins. I invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior. Amen. Back to top of page
I do my best to make clean cut traced lines, but I am not perfect. My hand drawn templates have been used by many ages who have easily traced them and created replicas of my sample. I think music is universal, I could go without television but not without good sound. I have also been of the age to see music go from my Dad's old reel to reel player thru records, tapes, CDs and now on my phone played bluetooth......kinda amazing. I actually had a vehicle for some time that had a cassette player which was so cool and later it got upgraded to a CD player. This CD and the ticket stub belong to my Father who loves Tom Petty and has passed on his music to us. My Dad however was able to go to see him in 1989 when we were all far too little to attend and the ticket stub is added to this CD. My Dad repurchased this CD at the show as he had left the original in a rental car and was very upset about it. He later found my Mom had simply packed it away because she was tired of hearing it and hoped Dad wouldnt even try to look....so, we have 2 and dad offered this one up for someone else to enjoy it - mostly the ticket because he saw no need to keep it as he had the memory & thought someone else could love it too or be reminded of a good time possibly even at the same show. The ticket is for Great Woods in Mansfield, MA where Tom Petty played with the Replacements. It's been since renamed since 1989 and is now the Xfinity Center, still in Mansfield MA. Itas a great place for an outdoor show too. It's a bit faded even for being stored inside of the CD case but it can still be read :) The CD is in perfect condition - the hinged case/ plastic holder is uncracked and unchipped The CD is unscathed and is as perfect as it gets...I did my best to get an angle on the back to show this since I cant play it for you in these pohoto posts. One really great feature that people really miss out on today is enjoying the insert art & info. This CD has some really great photos of Tom and it makes me sad he's no longer making music. I also enjoy the lyrics to the songs are listed - thats always fun to sing along and not have to guess :) Songs on this album include the following in order: "Free Fallin'" "I Won't Back Down" "Love Is A Long Road" "A Face in the Crowd" "Running Down A Dream" "Feel A Whole Lot Better" "Yer So Bad" "Depending On You" "Apartment Song" "Alright For Now" "A Mind With A Heart Of Its Own" "Zombie Zoo" I hope you get to re-enjoy or introduce this sound to someone in your life. Music is memories and I hope this also brings those to the new owner. This is a clean CD and safely stored ticket. It comes from a smoke/ pet free home. .............................................. Thank you for looking! I have other fun nostalgic housewares & toys listed in my shop. Please contact me if you have questions or desire to bundle or offer a new price! I'm happy to share these great treasures with you!

My grandfather looked a little like Humphrey Bogart. We don't have that many photos of him in his 40's, but the ones we do look like he's stepped right out of Casablanca. I recently ran across one of them, and I thought it'd be really cool to draw him and add him to my Time Travel series. Typically, I'm painting something that happened to me, but this one is from before I was born, at my parent's wedding, where I'm pretty sure they had a professional photographer. He was so much younger than when I knew him. I was lucky to spend a lot of time with my Grandfather in his 80's and 90's (he lived to 103). And though he was young at heart, an inveterate gardener and woodworker, he was so much older than I was. What I loved about doing this drawing and spending some quality time with him was that I could imagine what he was like at that wedding (which was in the same backyard as mine). He looks so proud, but also worried for the couple's future as a dad would be (It worked out fine). The prints are beautiful. The original drawing is 17" x 14" using sumi ink on cream colored Strathmore paper.
