Made in the UK, using sustainably sourced timber, the 8 x 4 Evesham Lean-to Greenhouse from Mercia is a space-saving design that simply attaches to the side of a permanent wall. This greenhouse is great for smaller or more urban gardens looking for somewhere to grow a range of plants and flowers throughout the year, and costs are kept low by taking advantage of an existing wall in your garden. With its robust shiplap cladding and timber frame, a lean-to greenhouse is sure to become a prized feature in any garden for years to come. Features: The lower walls of the Evesham Lean-to Greenhouse are constructed using premium horizontal interlocking tongue and groove boards with a shiplap profile. The shiplap profile includes a protective and aesthetically pleasing lip to create a strong, weather resistant panel. Complete with thick wooden framing to support the cladding internally, this building offers a rigid and long-lasting structure. An opening roof vent allows for ventilation during the hotter months, and the extensive glazing provides ample sunlight for plants inside. Depending on where you would like to position the Evesham Lean-To the door can be located on either of the 4th sides. The glazing is made from UV resistant styrene, which allows maximum light into the greenhouse while being safe and shatterproof. No floor is supplied with the greenhouse to ensure water can drain easily after you have watered any produce or plants you are growing inside. Robust fixtures and fittings are supplied as standard, alongside our detailed instructions and our manufacturer’s recommendations, to ensure a simple and stress-free assembly process. Alternatively, sit back, relax, and have our professionals take care of building your greenhouse by adding assembly to your order. This building comes with an anti-rot guarantee. To ensure your garden building looks great and lasts, your greenhouse comes with a conditional 10-year anti-rot guarantee as well as a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty. Annual re-treatment is required to maintain your building and the anti-rot guarantee. Additional Information: If you think that the Evesham Lean-to Greenhouse would be perfect for you, take a look at our delivery information. If you would like any extra details, feel free to email us to discuss your order and our full range of product options, or better still, give us a call so we can find the perfect product to suit your needs. Alternatively, why not visit us at our Brookfields Garden Centre showsite near Nottingham? One of our helpful advisors will be on hand to show you around or to help guide you through your order in person. Though if there is a particular garden building you would like to see, we recommend contacting us in advance to find out if we have it, or one similar, on site. This greenhouse is supplied flat packed with instructions and all the fixings necessary to complete construction. The timber used is dip treated, which means it has been pre-treated with a base coat in a brown, industrial product. Please be aware that the colour may vary from any pictures shown. Dip treatment coats the surface of the timber and protects it during manufacture and transit, so you must apply a suitable water-based top coat yourself to ensure your anti-rot guarantee remains valid. You must make sure to follow all the manufacturer’s care instructions in order to maintain the validity of your guarantee - these guidelines will be outlined in the instructions delivered with your product. This will include instructions for periodically treating your timber – Mercia, the manufacturer, recommends Protek Paint, available to purchase from elbec in over 60 stains and colours. Please note: some images may show this greenhouse decorated with accessories/furnishings. This is for display purposes only. Your order will not be delivered with any of the accessories/furnishings shown.

This week we are wrapping up our plant unit. I am pretty sure that my kiddos are going to be way more successful than me when it comes to having a green thumb. Everything I plant….dies. It is a tragedy. I mean you would think after refreshing up on plant needs every year that I would be able to open up a vegetable stand or something, but notsomuch. Anyways, yesterday, my kiddos made these little plant flip craftivities about the needs of plants. I just love how they turned out. The kiddos had to draw a picture and label the 4 different needs of a plant under each leaf like so… You can get the Plants Need Flip Craft {here}. We also had some fun with taste testing yesterday. After reading this book: Tops and Bottoms by Janet Stevens we sorted tops and bottoms and once those were all complete…we began tasting! Each kiddo got a carrot and a piece of celery to taste. The facial expressions were hilarious! Some were all smiles begging for more,…and some had the look of disgust! I mean! I actually had one little love tell me that they did not need to try them because they already knew they didn’t like the tops OR the bottoms of plants! Hilar! Looks like carrots (the bottoms) are a favorite in our room! …and we finished all our T.Rex Cottontails! Love how this little friend spelled “children”. You can pick up the T.Rex Cottontail freebie {here}. Happy Wednesday friends! Tomorrow is my Friday!!! WOOT WOOT!!!
