YOU ARE BUYING A *LOOP YARN* FINGER-KNITTING PATTERN, NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR BUYING YOUR OWN MATERIALS TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT.This PDF pattern includes written English instructions, as well as a pattern template. The Spiralling Vines Throw Blanket pattern is an eye-catching design of leafy vines which spiral from the outside perimeter to the centre of this (almost) square blanket. While not a huge project size-wise, this pattern involves a few stitches (leaf stitches and horizontal chain stitches) which may be new to even experienced finger/loop-knitters. It also has no repeating parts - each row in this 50-row pattern is unique. If you are looking for something new and want to learn some new skills, this may be the project for you!SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate/Advanced.SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 4 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is using the colour 'Dijon'). SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 40” by 44” (101.5 cm by 111.5 cm).PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different. I do not recommend mixing different brands of yarn. Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Bernat Alize Puffy yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is (approximately 2-4, depending on the yarn used).COPYRIGHTThe Spiralling Vines Throw Blanket pattern and all photographs are the property of I Love My Blanket/Reena Belford. Yellow Daffodil floral inspired Baby Blanket. Part of my FLORAL BABY design collection. The Yellow Daffodil flower represents NEW BEGINNINGS, HOPE, and RESILLENCE. It is crocheted using a Tunisian stitch with stripes of bright yellow flower pedal crocheted in a Tunisian flower pedal design for the body of this adorable blanket. The edge is crocheted with soft white yarn. A green variegated yarn in a Unique Leaf Vine pattern creates a ruffled festive edging. It measure 32 x 28 inches classifying it as a receiving or crib blanket. As with all crocheted items, measurement may not be exact. I work hard to keep them within 1 inch of the listed description. It is hard to get perfect picture due to lighting. I include the brand of yarn i use so that if you want to see exactly what you are getting, you may go to any craft store and check it out before ordering. It is machine washable and dryable. I love travelling. The best my memories are from the Canary Islands. The natural beauty of these Islands is memorable. What I love mostly is the scenery, climate, food and wine from local vineyards. Many Islands vines are centuries old - believe it or not, wine has been produced in the Canaries for over 500 years. The Field of Vines Blanket is dedicated to those volcanic Canary Islands with their forests, lava fields, vineyards, friendly towns and winter sunbathing! SKILL LEVEL: Advanced. Stitches used: intricate vine motif, cable and lace panels throughout with a garter stitch border. The pattern comes with written instructions and charts. MATERIALS REQUIRED: • 28 x 50 g balls (1960 m or 2156 yds), using Drops Alaska 5458 (Grey Uni colour shade) yarn. You can use any other substitute yarn as there no need to follow the gauge for this blanket. • 1 Circular needle 8.00 mm x 100 cm (US 11). • 1 Tapestry needle. GAUGE (tension): 11 sts and 16 rows = 10 cm (4”) measured over Garter st, blanket being blocked, using 8.00 mm (US 11) needle. NB Gauge is not crucial for this pattern. MEASUREMENTS AFTER BLOCKING: 140 (length) x 186 (width)cm (55 x 73 ½ ins). NB Your size depends on your gauge.

Description This product is a knitting pattern that provides only the instructions to create the item—it does not include a finished garment. Please read the full description. The pattern may include additional instructions for design variations. This asymmetrical lace wedge in two sizes (petite/tall) is worked from hem to tip in a wonderfully tangled pattern of vining leaf shapes with a different finish on each edge. While the motif is visually complex and the stitch count varies throughout, it is actually quite easy to work with rest rows mostly in purl. Knit in a shimmering silky yarn to highlight the forms within the pattern; use an airy matte yarn to enhance the play of transparency between background and foreground density. Shown here in Modern Deco Lace, shade Chrome, and the tall size, knit in Skinny Dipping Milky Wool, color Extra Virgin Suggested Yarns: Cormo Lace , Kent Lace , Modern Deco Lace , Shetlandia Fingering , Jacob Fingering or any silky fingering yarn that knits to pattern gauge. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape.
