Learn how to make a Starburst with Scraps card using the stash of big and little cardstock scraps most cardmakers have. Just 8 simple steps.
I'm back with another fun video today! I have the cutest little treat for you to share with all your friends, co-workers and more! I'm using the new Tune In Bundle, this is such a fun bundle for everyone! There's a bag of microwaveable popcorn that you can slide out easily. My popcorn is from Costco. I used Poppy Parade to match the outside of the popcorn bag. I'm using a fun retro color palette too! These are really fun together, Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana, Basic Beige and Peach Pie. I used the dies for all my televisions details. The stamp set in the bundle also gives you the option to stamp and color the television if you'd rather do that. Because I was making so many of these I decided to just die cut from cardstock and build my television that way. My greetings are from the Tune In set, I fussy cut them out. I added some Sparkle Gems to the knobs on the TV for some added sparkle and texture. Make your own: Poppy Parade 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score the long side at 1/2" and 4 1/2"; scraps for die cutting Coastal Cabana, Basic Beige, Peach Pie 4" x 1 1/4"; scraps for die cutting Basic Gray, Basic Black, Very Vanilla scraps for stamping and/or die cutting If you wanted to make a card instead of a popcorn slider, it's really simple to transform the elements to a card base. I added a little extra stamping in Poppy Parade Ink around the edges of my card, besides that it's an exact duplicate! Either project is adorable! Make sure you check out the video below for all the details on this project. While you're there make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel so you never miss a video. I needed to get a variety of Father's Day cards made before I left for my trip last week and I hadn't used my Tune In bundle yet and it was high time it saw some ink (this bundle is on sale for an extra 10% off until June 30. Don't wait to order your set!!). I pulled out what I thought worked for a masculine color combination; Azure Afternoon, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray and Smoky Slate. The card front is covered in a piece of Country Lace DSP in a very non-lacy almost twill like pattern in Smoky Slate. I used one of the Tune In dies to cut out the accent shapes along the side. The die cuts out 5 of the shapes so I just cut several times in each color then mixed and matched as I went down the line. The tv is stamped in Azure Afternoon ink onto the same paper. I used my Blends marker to highlight around the screen and fill in the legs for extra detail. I stamped the antennae in Basic Gray and cut it and the knobs out and added them to the tv. The screen is cut out and replaced with another one on which I stamped off some of the retro stars from the set. I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie right over the top. The whole piece is then popped up on the card front with dimensionals. I like the way you can add a lot of different sentiments to the screen and not just the ones that came with the stamp set; it's a decent size so you probably have a lot in your stash that would work for many different looks. I didn't really have any embellishments that looked right so I kept it clean; it was for a guy after all! All of the products used to make this can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for looking! Did you stamp today? Stamps: Tune In Ink: Azure Afternoon, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Gray Blends: Smoky Slate Dark, Azure Afternoon light Paper: Country Lace DSP, Azure Afternoon, Basic Gray, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White Accessories: Tune In dies, dimensionals

This post will be photo heavy and I hope it will offer some inspiration to you. Scroll down for the show and tell video sharing some teaching tips and a couple more of the samples I made. I am REALLY excited that we got to choose punch or dies with two of the stamp sets (spoiler I chose punches with both!) What about you? This card made with Labelled with Love was super simple to create. I love how the Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash co-ordinate. Next we have Spotlight on Nature. We created the ver simple easel card. The use of Basic Beige is a bit washed out in this photo but see below for the ones I created for display Do you like this new colour? In theory Basic Beige sounds unexciting but I LOVE it. Zoom in to see the detail that I got using our gorgeous stamps both on the white layers and tone on tone to create the background elements. And now on to my Tune in Samples. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this fun retro stamp set and made a selection of samples using it. If you are of a certain age and from the UK, you will see I created one with a BBC test card effect! Hello and welcome to a new project share. This is my Design Team project for this week's Choose Two challenge at Just Add Ink to add heat or dry embossing, or debossing. I chose to use the Tune In stamp set and die bundle to make a fun, colourful window birthday card that features heat embossing and dry embossing. Here's how it turned out. The TV image, aerial and happy birthday on the front was stamped in Versamark on some Country Woods paper then heat embossed it with Copper embossing powder using the Metallics embossing powder pack. I love how the colour wash look paper from the Full of Life pack looks like you've spent ages creating it. I embossed it with one of the Basics 3d embossing folder. The paper in the TV is the reverse of the same sheet. I used the Mini Alphabet dies with copper foil to make the news flash sentiment. I cut the screen from the front to create the window, then heat embossed another TV - this one using versamark and Pecan Pie ink. The knobs and feet are coloured with Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends markers. So that's my Choose Two challenge. Head to the Just Ink blog to see all our team projects. What do you think? Who would you give it to? If you'd like to make your own version, head here to my Stampin' Up! store to see and order the supplies you'll need.
