I'm ending the week crafting with the DSP featured in the Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Today I created the Trusty Toolbox Birthday Card.

I'm playing with the Trusty Toolbox DSP (a FREE Sale-a-Bration item) this week, and adding to my stash of masculine cards. I'm also using the handy Heartfelt Hellos stamp set (also a FREE Sale-a-Bration item). I snipped out a bunch of tools for this card, and layered them on to one of the other patterns in the pack. I inked the sentiment in 2 colours for a bit of extra interest, and punched it out using the Heartfelt Hexagon punch. I've scattered around a few Classic Matte Dots for embellishment. This was a fun card to make! One of my favourite cards from my embossing paste class last month was this pretty card. For this card I actually heat embossed the embossing paste. For this particular card I used silver embossing powder. When heat embossing on embossing paste the best results come from allowing the paste to dry for a few hours

Hello stampers, I have a sneak peek of some new products to share with you for my Colour Creations Blog Hop. The Jan to April catalogue is live for customers on the 4th of Jan, but as Demonstrators we are able to pre order early. Today's card features the Trusty Toolbox DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalogue which also starts on the 4th of Jan. The other new item shown here is the Mini Alphabet Die Set which has three dies only that feature numerous numerals and other items such as question marks and exclamation marks! Such a versatile die set. I cut the letters from Lost Lagoon and then white so that I could layer them for added effect. The tools around the greeting were fussy cut from the DSP. We made it to Friday and y'all know what that means...time for an all new TGIF Challenges. This week we have a sketch that was perfect for sharing a sneak peek of some new products coming in the January-April 2024 Mini and January-February 2024 Sale-A-Bration catalogs. Let me introduce you to the Trusty Tools stamp set (Jan-April) and the coordinating Trusty Toolbox DSP (SAB)... This stamp set and DSP will get a lot of use for all of the guys in my life! From my dad, husband and sons to father-in-laws and friends, this will be a well loved stamp set! I created a tool box with the DSP, tucking a few fussy cut tools inside. The ruler, also from the DSP, filled the other half of the sketch. The saw blade was the perfect addition to the front of the sketch. I even brought in the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder from the Annual Catalog. Products from all of the catalogs are always working together!
