Hello everyone and welcome to a very special blog post, my very first Stampin' Up! Corporate Blog post. As part of the Artisan Design Team, each Artisan is asked to design and share 3 blog posts throughout the year for the Stampin’ Up! Blog/Facebook page. These are shared via the notes area of the Stampin’ Up! official page so be sure to check it out and while you are there give the page a like to ensure you don’t miss out on anything shared from Stampin’ Up! Here is my post that was published today, I hope you find it to be inspiring. In this post I’m sharing with you some examples of how you can CASE your own work, using the same set of supplies and techniques, to create multiple cards, each with their own unique look. For these projects I chose to feature the Amazing Life Stamp Set (#148750) and the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (#148750), along with some Whisper White Bakers Twine (#124262), Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon (#144235), Colored Doilies (#146935) and some sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment (#144212) to add some extra detail. If you take a close look at all the cards, you will see that they each feature a tone-on-tone stamped background and a fussy cut sentiment embossed with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109132). This first card also features a fussy cut cake image coloured with a Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Marker (#147156) and a little extra detail has been added to the sentiment panel with a scalloped edgelit from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits (#148527) The same techniques have been repeated on this second card, except this time the tone-on-tone background was achieved with stamping the sentiment in VersaMark (#102283) on Balmy Blue Cardstock (#147007) rather than using a Balmy Blue ink pad (#147105). In this last card colour has been added to the four-leaf clovers by stamping the image in Jet Black StāzOn (#101406) on some Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper in Lemon Lime Twist and a little extra detail has been added with some background stamping behind the sentiment panel. Thank you for joining me today. I hope you have enjoyed these projects and that they have inspired you to CASE your own work to create new and fun projects - Tan xx

I love being in the kitchen with my two cookie monsters. My boys never hesitate to volunteer to help make a mess. My toddler loves to dump pre-measured ingredients into the bowl; my first-grader is a master at driving the Kitchen-aid mixer. When grandma and grandpa were coming for lunch and we needed cookies to go with our ice cream dessert, I recruited my oldest son to help. We whipped up one of my favorite kinds – cowboy cookies. YUM. They have a zillion ingredients, everything delicious (with the exception of peanut butter and m&ms) in one cookie. To sneak in some math practice I made some general ingredient cards. Each has a value; for instance, oats are worth six, sugar has a value of two, etc. Download a 2-page PDF of these cards here. While we waited for the cookies to bake, I told my son to pick three ingredient cards and add the values together. It was so fun to see the combinations of ingredients he came up with (of course, he picked m&ms + chocolate chips + frosting as his first cookie problem; HA!). His reward for a job well done? A cookie, of course!
