This card is a different spin on the card I posted ( here ) a couple of days ago. I added a Silver Foil butterfly with it's rhinestone body and coil of Silver Thread, plus added a scattering of tiny rhinestones to the flower. Today's cards are very similar, so I'm sharing them together. They both started with pieces from my Thoughtful Branches/Sheltering Tree display board. The strip of brown patterned paper at the bottom is leftover from an old kit. It's actually Chocolate Chip, but it pairs nicely with the darkness of the Early Espresso. Betty asked me to do a demonstration for our Stamp Share Tuesday night. Since I had just received my Thoughtful Branches Bundle, I decided to show how well it works with Sheltering Tree! Hello, crafty friends. I have a sympathy card to share with you today using the beautiful Limited Time stamp set called Thoughtful Branches for the new color challenge at Sunday Stamps! I took the challenge literally, in that, I used the stamp and framelit that can be used either for leaves on a tree or as the petals in a flower and made a multi colored hydrangea flower. I sponged Dapper Denim, Marina Mist, Soft Sky and Smoky Slate onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and then stamped the leaf image over this using Dapper Denim. I then die cut it out. The leaves were stamped using Mint Marcaron. Here's the exclusive, limited-time stamp set. Available until August 31, 2016, or while supplies last. Hello there! Yesterday I posted about the Thoughtful Branches bundle that is only available during August. I will be featuring many different cards and projects with this fantastic offering over the next 4 weeks. This card is one we have made at my Coffee and Card and Training events this week and was CASED from Jessica Winter and you can see her original post HERE. I changed a couple of things and added a watercolour background. I made a fence with the new Classic Label punch and inked round the edges to make it pop a little more. Make sure your background is definitely dry before you attempt the stamping of the grass or attaching any of the die cut pieces.
