"Yo Tengo, ¿Quién Tiene?" (or "I Have, Who Has?" in Spanish) is an interactive game that gets students engaged (and up and moving if you so desire). It is great for developing oral language, number vocabulary, taking turns, and listening practice. This game was developed with dual language teachers in mind, as the Spanish numbers and number words are in red. Included in this pack are the the following "Yo Tengo, ¿Quién Tiene?" math games: - Números (Numbers) - Palabras de Números (Number Words) - Marcas de Conteo (Tally Marks) - Dominós (Dominoes) - Cuadro de Diez (Ten Frames) - Dedos de Conteo (Counting Fingers) There are two versions of each game included to practice numbers 0-20 or 0-30, whichever option is best for your students. So, how do you play? 1. Pass out a card to each child. If you have cards left over, keep passing them out until there are no cards left. (If children have multiple cards, they can spread them out in front to see better. They don’t need to be kept secret.) 2. The child with the Green “GO” sign in the top left corner of their card begins. They will stand up and say for example “I have one. Who has five?” 3. The child with five will stand up and read their card. “I have five. Who has…?” 4. Play continues until the game ends with the “STOP” card. That student answers “I have … STOP!” to signal the end of the game. Do you prefer English? Great! Check out the "I Have, Who Has?" ENGLISH version of this math bundle here. “I have…Who has?” games, otherwise known as Zip Around games, are great for developing oral language, vocabulary, taking turns, and listening skills. These interactive games are great for getting students engaged (and up and moving if you so desire). This Pets "I Have, Who Has" pack includes 3 versions of the game: Pets Vocabulary - "I have the dog. Who has the cat?" Counting Objects 1-12 - "I have one dog. Who has the three cats?" This game is great for subitizing as the animals are in random order, and not numerical order. It also has children practice the plural form of the words. Colors - "I have (image of a purple dog). Who has (image of a gray cat)?" These cards use only the image so they can be used at different difficulty levels. For an easy version, students would say the name of the color…“I have purple. Who has gray?” For a more difficult version would use adjectives to describe the animal…“I have the purple dog. Who has the gray cat?” Each version of the game contains 12 cards. You will need to do the math and decide how to split up your class. If you have a large class, you can always split them up into smaller groups and “loop” the game for a set amount of time. For example, for a class of 30, you can divide them into three groups with 10 students each. Give each group a different version of the game, and have 2 students in each group play more than one card. How do you play "I have...Who has?"? 1. Pass out a card to each child. If you have cards left over, keep passing them out until there are no cards left. (If children have multiple cards, they can spread them out in front to see better. They don’t need to be kept secret.) 2. The child with the Green “GO” sign in the top left corner of their card begins. They will stand up and say “I have the dog. Who has the cat?” 3. The child with cat will stand up and read their card. “I have the cat. Who has…?” 4. Play continues until the game ends with the “STOP” card. That student answers “I have … STOP!” to signal the end of the game. (If you prefer to loop the game for continuous play, optional ending cards are included for each version.) This Pets I Have, Who Has game is also available in Spanish, Las Mascotas Yo Tengo, ¿Quién Tiene?. Spanish Adjectives Flash Cards Spanish Adjectives Flash Cards are a great resource for teaching students Spanish adjectives. These cards are suitable for students in grades four to twelve. It is also useful for adults too! There are two sets of cards: red and green. The two sets of cards equal a total of 80 Spanish adjectives cards. (40 red and 40 green) Red cards: One set of red cards have the Spanish adjective with the English translation on the lower left corner of the card. There is also another set of red cards with just the Spanish adjective on it. And finally as a bonus there is another set of red cards with only the English translation on it. The English version was created to use as a game with students. Green cards: The green cards are also adjectives but these adjectives specifically describe character and personalities. Students can practice with these cards to describe their friends and people in general. It’s a very fun and engaging practice. The green cards are set up just like the red cards. There is one set with the Spanish adjective with the English translation on the lower corner; another set with just the Spanish adjective and also a bonus with just the English version of the adjectives. I also included an extra page of adjectives (leaves) to use with the adjective tree activity, a freebie on my store. There is also a red and green chart with the list of adjectives in alphabetical order along with the Spanish translation for easy access. Click the follow me button for updates and new products!
