I was given a free copy of Lorna Jane INSPIRED to review, but all opinions are always my own. I want to start by saying that INSPIRED by Lorna Jane is a must for every coffee table of people seeking a healthy, balanced, motivated life. The imagery alone in this book is enough to make you want to make changes for the better. It is filled with beautiful colors, quotes, and ideas. I love being active, cooking healthy meals, and feeling great, but I think everyone struggles every now and then. There are some days it is harder to get motived to go run and for those days I could see how having INSPIRED easily accessible on your coffee table can come in handy. Just flip through a few pages and it will make you want to go to a yoga class, invite a friend for a hike, or hit up your local farmers market. This book definitely earned it’s title “INSPIRED“. I love the over all tranquil feeling that this book provides. INSPIRED by Lorna Jane shares ideas about sleep, having a vision, and really everything about creating the best life possible. It is really fun to flip through with fitness ideas and recipes, great photos, motivational quotes, and even some beauty ideas. DIY body scrub? Yes please! There are not a lot of books I keep on my coffee table, but this will be one of them. INSPIRED by Lorna Jane would make a great gift for a friend who loves to live a healthy life, someone making life changes, someone setting new goals, or even a hard to shop for friend. This book really encompasses it all. I’m all about motivating quotes and this book supplies a big dose of them. You can order your copy of INSPIRED by Lorna Jane here. Do you have any of Lorna Jane’s books?
I always expected mom life to be hard. I was ready for showers to become less frequent (and also much shorter), I was ready to lose my free time, and of course sleep; what I didn’t expect, was to get totally and completely dehydrated on a frequent basis. Ever since becoming a mom, I’ve been...Read More

I know I’m preaching to the mom choir when I say this, but having it all IS a total crock; most days I’m lucky if I have a little. I often feel like a conductor of my own life – furiously waving my baton in hopes of achieving a perfect harmony – doing my best to...Read More

Here’s a story I rarely share. When I was approximately 14 years old, the summer before my freshman year in high school, I excitedly (and very nervously) decided to try out for cheerleading. Middle school had been an absolute bust and I was determined to start high school on a different foot. While I wasn’t...Read More

You’ve been there. I’ve been there. Life can be really stressful and frustrating at times. We are all human, and it’s ok to have a few bad days. What’s not ok is letting what’s bothering us continuously get the best of us. Recently, I was in one of those ruts. I mean hi, anytime my foodie …

Almost a month on from when I toed the line at The Barkley Marathons and I am literally still unable to feel most of my toes. The scars from the briars have mostly recovered and my energy levels slowly return to normal, though I do swing between feeling near 100% and knowing I still have a ways to g
I’ve been a BOSU Balance Trainer addict for as long as I can remember; I first fell in love with them at the gym. I remember sneakily (errr, creepily) watching this really ripped lady at the gym doing one-legged squats and reverse lunges on a BOSU and then waiting until after she left to hop on...Read More

Good morning #fitfam! I’m an avid weekly meal prepper and here I am without a meal prep post. It’s coming. Just not today. And the best part, the not today is without guilt or feelings of inadequacy. That’s big my friends! Really big! In fact it’s huge! Sometimes you have to NOT do to get more done. Sometimes,...
There were a couple moments in 2017 that have made me doubt my limits in 2018. When you're put in uncomfortable positions and overcome you feel that you can be limitless.
Coffee is a social unifier, people are constantly meeting up for a cup, professing their addiction love on everything from t-shirts to internet memes, and it’s a go-to gift for the person who has everything (because you can never have enough coffee, am I right?). While coffee brings us together, it can also set you
