This garment is completely made out of single crochet stitches and single crochet front post/back post stitches. This pattern includes some photo tutorials to help with understanding. This pattern comes in only one size wich is XL since this is my first time and I don’t know how to make different sizes. I did add some information on how you could make it smaller. DETAILS SOFT ENOUGH TO WEAR COMFORTABLY AGAINST YOUR SKIN. It’s rare to find a sweater that feels both beefy and is ultra-soft. Extra fine Merino wool makes this so. Zero itch guaranteed. THICK, ROBUST, AND DURABLE. This is not a “handle-with-care” sweater…it’s a piece of equipment built to perform in tough environments and handle whatever weather. THE IDEAL EVERYDAY SWEATER – looks great, feels great, has excellent thermal management, and serves equally well as an outer layer or mid-layer. TOPS OFF ANY PANT AND SHIRT COMBINATION. You won’t find yourself wondering what this sweater “goes with.” You put it on, it holds its shape and everything else falls in place. TRUE TO SIZE…but size up if you’re planning on piling on layers underneath. LIMITED EDITION – Our 25th Anniversary Ranger's Uniform Sweater is a limited production run, each is marked with a unique serial number identifier. The Ranger's Uniform Sweater was commissioned in 1995 by The Trustees of Reservations, Ipswich, Ma., the oldest conservation land trust in America, founded by Charles Eliot, in 1891. Their requirements were exacting. For it to be adopted as part of the Ranger’s Uniform, it had to be practical and serve double duty…as a layering piece but sturdy and warm enough to go it alone in the winters of the Massachusetts coastline.
FISHERMAN’S RAGLAN is a rustic raglan-style sweater with relaxed fit and a beautiful, subtle textured stitch panel featuring small herringbone stitch ‘braids’ on front of the sweater and matching decorative raglan-braids. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up in the round, starting with a 2x2 ribbing that flows into the braids on front of the body. The sleeves are knitted separately in stockinette stitch and then joined with the body on a long circular needle. The sweater is then shaped using raglan decreases on each side of the raglan-braids, whilst continuing the pattern on front of the sweater. Subsequently, the neck is shaped with German short rows while continuing the pattern and working raglan decreases at the same time. The turtleneck is worked once again in 2x2 ribbing, with knit stitches flowing out of the ‘braids’ in the pattern just like at the bottom of the body. Please choose a size 10-15 cm larger than your actual chest circumference. Designed by Helga Isager. English language printed pattern. FIELD is worked from the top down with raglan increases on the yoke for a perfect fit. This makes a beautiful play of colour and a nice texture which is kind to your skin. The finished blouse is turned ‘inside out’, so the wrong-side of the stockinette stitch is facing outward. The way the neckline is sewn in place makes both sides look nice, and ensures that the blouse can be worn with both the Right Side and the Wrong Side out. About The Colour Blockade is a colourful top down knit sweater. Inspired by the 80’s ski jackets, this knitted sweater is a creative outlet to show off your colour skills. Choose different coloured yarns to create your own knitted look, or keep it simple with some pops of colour. Colour Blockade Knit Up Zip Up is worked from the top down, beginning with the collar, and then working the yoke down to the armholes. The fronts and back are then worked separately before joining at the underarms to continue the rest of the body. The hem is worked with an elastic installed, giving it that oversized puffer look that is popular with sports jackets. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round to the cuffs, where the elastic is installed into the cuff. The zipper is sewn in from the collar and stitched down to complete the garment. This pattern comes with a PDF sheet attached to figure out your colour work beforehand. There is also a guide to using stitch fiddle to create your design. Knitting is a form of magic. Or it sure seems that way to someone who’s never held knitting needles, let alone tried to use them for anything other than wizarding wands of wizardry. Whether it be a form of artistic expression or a means of creating some lovely mittens to combat the cold winds hitting them fingers, it’s a craft that holds a special place in many hearts.
