Hello and welcome to the December ESAD Blog Hop. You may be starting with me or just hopped over from viewing Carly's amazing work. We have quite a treat for you today with a Sneak Peek of some of the new products that will be available in the Stampin' Up Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-bration that comes out in January. As demonstrators we are lucky to get our hands on new product early! Got to love that! The first project I have for you is using the beautiful So In Love stamp set with coordinating So Detailed Thinlits Dies. I have made a slightly larger card for this one as I wanted to play with the thinlit and see if I could get it to cut one large circular(ish) element and it worked! It was just a matter of carefully rolling the thinlit through the big shot and stopping just short of the edge. I then turned the thinlit around, lined it up and repeated the process. This is proving REALLY hard to explain, I know in my head what I need to tell you, maybe a photo out of the catalogue will help. See the middle example, that's what the thinlit was designed to do, be a card wrap. I've just cut it twice and rotated it to make one lacy design. Mental note next time I do something a bit experimental, take photos! Anyway when you get your hands on this beautiful product you will see exactly what I mean. Back to my project- I've use a colour combo of Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White. The Designer Series Paper that I have used behind my lace is from the Carried Away paper pack that is in Sale-a-bration catalogue. This you can get free when you spend $90 in January. I can't believe there is a whole catalogue of FREE stuff! All you need to do is spend $90 and then take your pick from stamp sets, papers, ribbons and the list goes on. Finally, the inside of my card got a little love too. My next project for you today is using a stamp set out of the Sale-a-bration catalogue, so yes, I got it for free. The set, Hey Chick comes with four images and three sentiments and is so cute. I used my Stampin' Write Markers and Aqua Painters to watercolour the image. Last but not least is a card using the Lift Me Up Stamp Set and coordinating Up & Away Thinlit Dies. Judging the reactions from demonstrators at the OnStage Live conference I went to in November, this set is going to be very popular. I've used the colours Crumb Cake, Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party and Shimmery White for a bit of sparkle. The inside of this card also received some love. Well thank you for visiting my blog. There is much more for you to see, so hop on over to Monique who has something beautiful to show you. I needed a lot of Etsy thank you cards for last month (thank you so much for all the fantastic support, by the way!! I guess we're gonna have Christmas after all!) so I sat down last week to make 20 cards in one marathon session. I like to use the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes packs for these because they are pre-cut and ready to go--plus they're a fun size but still able to mail for a regular postage stamp. Hello and welcome to another Artisan design team blog hop. If you are following the hop you may have arrived here from Jessica's blog, Isn't her creation lovely? For this hop we were asked to create a project using the new Lift me up bundle. You can find this bundle in the new Spring summer catalogue on page 10. What I love about this stamp set is that it's so versatile, hot air balloons are generic and the sentiments cover more than one occasion, birthday, congrats, love, thanks, just a note and across the miles. All that on one stamp set is great value! Aren't the Lace doilies lovely! A great way to add a quick but detailed layer, and with being cardstock weight they will be perfect for sponging with ink to change the colour to suit your project. I created a coordinating box with the Window box thinlit dies. This box is super easy to put together and is a great size for all kinds of treats! It's time for a just choose two challenge at Just Add Ink & this one's full of fun possibilities. I decided to go with circles & balloons (hot air ones), to make my card, and yes the brilliant Lift Me Up stamps & Up & Away dies are inky again. Oh my goodness I'm loving these. When the card is opened, you find this fun shadow box surprise inside. Unsurprisingly it's called a shadow box card. They're so fun and easy to make, and folds flat for posting in a standard C6 envelope. My stamping bestie, Kellie found this fab shadow box card & video tutorial on Dawn Griffiths's blog. I like to adjust cards to suit metric measurements and the standard A4 sized card we use in Australia, so we converted Dawn's version to suit. As A4 card is longer than US 8.5 x 11 inch card we were able to make the whole card base from a single sheet of A4 card. More about that later. Just 4 scorelines make this card work. The shadow box section attaches to the inside left panel near the centre fold, so when the card is opened, it pops up. Close it & the card folds flat. The rounded shadow box frame inside is cut with the retiring Balloon Pop Up die *sob*. I can't believe these (& the fab coordinating Balloon Adventures stamp set) are not carrying over to the new catalogue. I've loved using them & used them lots, so please don't wait to get them as they're only available while stock last. I cut all the 'balloon bits' from the cut out & adhered the intricate hot air balloon (with ombre sponged background) in the window, supported by a few clouds. I used some retired Sale-a-bration Carried Away designer paper to back the scene. You could sponge a background or cut & adhere some more cloud dies instead. The card front might be feeling a little unloved with all this focus on the inside, so let's get back to it. I stamped the balloons in night of navy ink, coloured them with markers, then added a good helping of Wink of Stella for sparkle. They're mounted on yet another sponge brayered background. Some Stitched Shapes circle die cuts to help the sentiment t(from Lift Me Up) to pop. So want to make your own? Good news, I've put together a template & instructions for this one sheet version & will hopefully share this over the weekend with some other shadow box card projects. & it's below. EDIT: Free Tutorial available to download here in this post In the meantime, pin this collage as a reminder & later inspiration, then head over to the Just Add Ink blog to see how the team have used the challenge too. Hello there and welcome to my blog, Look at the time I am blogging !!! Its 9pm here in the UK and the reason for blogging so late is due to me joining in a new global blog hop called Stamp To Share. We are going to share a couple of projects featuring a particular bundle of products each month on the second Wednesday of the month. So sit back, relax and enjoy .... We are showcasing the Lift Me Up Bundle this month, and you should have joined me from my gorgeous friend Moira :) didn't you love her projects?? This bundle was the first one I ordered when our preorder went live and the online world is full of gorgeous samples. I wanted to focus on something quite girly so went with an explosion of pink. The colours used were Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Real Red and Basic Grey. The white layer was embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder and the balloons were stamped on Whisper White and cut with the matching framelits. I have also used the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle onto the lovely balloons but you can't really see that so you will have to use your imagination a little. Once I made the card I just cut some extra balloons and decorated one of the White Gift Boxes . Its so much easier to make two of everything once you have everything out. I have been making a habit of creating two identical cards or ever so slightly different and its amazing how quickly you build a stash. Here's a closer look at the pretty box I added one of the beautiful Lace Doilies and the beautiful accents came from the Metallic Enamel Shapes. I hope you enjoyed my projects, thank your visiting me today and have fun hopping along. Next stop is Amy Koenders, I cannot wait for you to see what she has in store :) And if you get sidetracked for any reason here's the whole blog list for your convenience. Until next much love and hugs. The Masking Technique is one of my favorite rubber stamping techniques. Check out how by masking one balloon, you can create so much depth without many layers. I masked balloons for the background and on the focal piece. Pair the Lift Me Up stamp set with the fun banners from

Hello! Welcome to another blog hop with the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team. If you came from Dani's blog, thank you for continuing on to me. I'm Holly and I live in the US :) I hope that you are inspired by our Lift Me Up blog hop. We are featuring the Lift Me Up stamp set and the coordinating Up & Away Thinlits Dies. The first card I want to show you today is a "stepped up" version of the original one I made. I love these little clouds and I'm all about ribbon, so why not add a bunch? :) You can see the original below on the right. I liked the look of the card but, again, I wanted to incorporate the diecut clouds and add a little more detail. I split the sentiment up between the front and the inside and I really like how it turned out. What do you think? For the second card that I made, I had a little fun with the small balloon thinlit mixed in with the Large Letter Framelit Dies. I cut up the sentiment for the balloon and added some Night of Navy enamel dots from the Regals Enamel Shapes collection. I diecut some more clouds and added them behind and over the letters to give the clouds some more dimension. Did you notice the cute designer paper in the background? That is the Carried Away DSP pack that coordinates perfectly with this stamp set. You can earn it free during the Sale-a-Bration promotion going on right now! I added some Watermelon Wonder 5/8" Mini Striped Ribbon, some Night of Navy Solid Baker's Twine and a white paper clip from the Mini Paper Clips Combo Pack. I hope you enjoyed my creations! I would love to hear from you before you continue on! I'm certain Jennifer has something amazing on her blog too, so make sure to make your way around the hop! You won't be disappointed. :) Have a wonderful day! -Holly
I really am thrilled to finally be able to share the two stamp sets that I received from Stampin' Up! for my Display stamper duties, Lift Me Up and Carousel Birthday. Both are absolutely gorgeous and I had so many idea on how to use them. Each day this week, I'll share two samples from the 15 that I have created... ohh it's getting exciting now!! First up, is a card using the gorgeous Lift Me Up stamp set and it's coordinating framelits: Can I just say that this sentiment "Sending smiles across the miles" is going to be my most used sentiment ever. Of course I adore the sentiment itself, but the font and layout is just perfect. I literally swooned when I saw this sentiment!! How cute is this card. The paper 'Cupcakes and Carousels' pairs perfectly with this stamp set and the colours are so fresh even though the patterns have such a vintage, retro feel to them. I love all the little clouds and the balloons that have matching framelits. It makes my job super easy!! Ok so my next design to share with you, is a card made using the other stamp set that I received which is the 'Carousel Birthday' set. These two sets really do pair well together and I think you see that with the DSP and Embellishment kit. Anyway, here is my second card for today: Out of all the samples I made, this was the one I just loved the most. It's so soft and girly and would be perfect for a little princesses birthday. Now before you ask, no there isn't a framelit for the gorgeous little carousel horse. I did actually fussy cut it out. It really wasn't too hard and it does look fantastic on the card. I used an aqua painter to colour in the horse, this time around but I'm pretty excited about out new watercolour pencils that are coming out in the catty too. They would be perfect for this sort of fine, detailed stamp. Well that's it for me today. Make sure you check back in tomorrow for Day Two of the Sample reveal, as I have so much more to share with you yet!! Happy Crafting Chlo

Hello and welcome to the first Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for 2017, today we have the amazing Sandi MacIver joining us and we get to CASE her work! Sandi has so many beautiful designs, after many visits to her blog I finally decided to CASE the following card: I love so many elements of Sandi's card, the Lift Me Up stamp set, the use of vellum, blended background and the layers. Here's my project: I excitiely cut into a sheet of my "free" Sale-a-Bration DSP to create my background, then stamped my balloons in Real Red and Crushed Curry - the detail in these stamps is just incredible, likewise in the Up & Away thinlets. I used the masking technique to stamp my sentiment separately then die cut the clouds and layered using dimensionals. This is a great masculine stamp set/bundle available from the Occasions Catalogue, and even better the coordinating DSP is one of the free Sale-A-Bration items - what more could you ask for! Thank you for the inspiration Sandi and for joining us today - it is such an honour to be hopping with you. I would love it if you could pin my cards! Hi everyone, sharing a sneak peak at the new stamp set 'Lift Me Up' and the coordinating Thinlits 'Up & Away'. I was so excited when I first saw this stamp set and thinlits showcased by Shannon West at the OnStage Live event in Brisbane. For my card today I cased Shannon as I love the layout and colour scheme used. I have another card coming tomorrow using the same stamp set and thinlits. You will be able to order these products from me on 4 January 2017 when the new Occasions Catalogue is launched. Thank you for visiting. Carolyn Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest Up & Away
Hi stampers! Welcome to another Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team Blog Hop! We're a group of 20 demonstrators who get to share our inspiration with you a couple times a month. You may have just come from Mercedes' blog and her fabulous project. Don't worry if you didn't, just keep hopping and you'll hop around the world in no time! Like seriously, how fun are these hops? It really is a trip around the world each time! This month's focus is the Lift Me Up bundle. I have to say, I have a special love for hot air balloons because my dad has always loved them. In fact, when I was little (it was way back when because my parents were still married!!!!) my dad got to take a ride in one and my mom and I followed along on the ground. I'll never forget how cool it was to see him up there and how happy HE was! So, I did something a little different for me again. While this card isn't all that exciting on the outside, it has a little surprise on the inside. And while it may not be anything super fancy outside, it's pretty cute I think! For the panels behind the balloon, I alternated watermelon wonder with calypso coral. You can see the contrast much better in person and a bit more in the next photograph. And then look how fun the inside is! I'm calling this a mobile card because it's kind of like a mobile when you open it. And let me just say that I'm not the worlds best photographer and this sucker was difficult to photograph with all the moment and shadows and GAH! At one point I was half in-half out our front door laying across the threshold to try to get some good light, lol! I created the mobile by using a couple of strips of cardstock and then sandwiched some of our metallic thread in between. There's about a million ways to do this. I searched on google and pinterest and kind of used a combination of ideas I saw. I suggest doing the same if you want to recreate it and pick whatever works best for you. I stamped each balloon twice and then used liquid glue and glue dots to firmly sandwich the ends of the thread in between them. I masked the sentiment on the front of the card and then masked the remaining happy birthday for the inside as you see here. I hope you enjoyed this card and maybe feel inspired to try one! Now it's time to hop on over to Miriam's blog. You're going to LOVE her project! Happy stamping! Welcome back to day 2 of my share-fest. Today I'm sharing samples using the Lift Me Up stamp set and the matching framelits but only one of them is actually a card?!? Let's start with the card first. Now when I first received this set, I loved all the hot air balloons in the set. They are so vintage and reminded me of one of my favourite Jules Verne books, Around the world in 80 days. I then opened up the framelits and I was instantly in love with this gorgeous, intricate hot air balloon die. Whats even more exciting, is that there are other dies in the set that look like a curved band and these are for cutting paper and layering behind the balloon, which is what I did for this card. I used some scraps of the Cupcakes and Carousel DSP and layered them behind the black die cut. Those clever peeps over at head office really do think of everything!! Ok, so now for the non card that I made. Once I had started cutting a few of the gorgeous balloon die cuts, I instantly knew it would make a fantastic mobile for a little boy's room and that's exactly what I did. Gosh, this little stunner was hard to photograph. It would not stay still for a moment!! But I really was thrilled with how it turned out and I think it got a few "wow's" at Onstage too. To make the balloons, I cut three from each colour and used the fine tip glue pen to stick them together. I threaded cotton through the middle and then added a few of the die cut Dazzling Diamonds clouds to the top and bottom. Finally finished it all off with a pair of silver bells at the end of the cotton. These make a gorgeous sound in the breeze and they also add a little bit of weight to the mobile. Now if you would like your own copy of the new Occasions catalogue, then please send me an email with you postal address and come the middle of Dec I will pop on in the post for you. Australian address only. Happy Crafting, Chlo
