I made such a cute fun fold just by cutting back the front flap of this landscape card and using the cut out as the mail image panel for the card. It's a very economical way to create a different style of card. Plus, the way I cut the 12x12 Designer Series Paper also really contributes to cuteness of this design. I highly recommend watching the Facebook Live Video Replay to see exactly how to cut everything. The Designer Series Paper is so much fun to work with and it looks so artsy with makes it a great companion
This is another fast and easy card with the big, bold and beautiful See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper. This time I used Sweetly Swirled, which seems perfect with the waves of color in the card. A card made for a team challenge the theme of which is DSP and a sentiment. I chose the gorgeously bright and bold ‘See A Silhouette’ dsp for the challenge.
I have been eyeing my 'See a Silhouette' Designer Series Paper for a while now. I love the bold designs and the vibrant colors. For me, they are the easy way to add an 'artistic' look to cards very similar to what you would get with Stampin' Up Pigment Sprinkles. The papers are a variety of artistic designs just waiting for you to make into rich, beautiful cards. See the patterns below. These designs are all done by Stampin' Up! designers using Stampin' Up! colors. Aren't they wonderful? Click on the image to see more. For this quick and simple card,

SEE A SILHOUETTE DESIGNER SERIES PAPER is another gorgeous set of patterned paper you can buy from my shop now and create these 6 gorgeous cards. Stampin Up does make the most beautiful papers and the See A Silhouette is just one of them. Gorgeous vibrant summer colours in tones of reds, yellows, blues, purples and greens. There is a colour palette for everyone. I have shown you 6 designs, all different using just a small amount of this lovely paper. Use up your scraps and leftover pieces to create coordinating background pieces. Add some sentiments of your choice and put them in a gift box for a great gift, ideal for the summer craft fair season. By simply cutting round a few of the flowers and leaves from one of the sheets and then combining them with some backgrounds and strips of the other paper, all which coordinate beautifully you can create these stunning cards. Here is a step by step video tutorial so you can make some yourself.
Do you have too much retired paper like me? Well it doesn't mean you can't still use them right? I often find that I just didn't get a chance to use it while it was still a current product but I still want to use and show you what I created with it. Creating these cards was quite therapeutic. Fussy cutting is one of my favourite things in crafting, don't get me wrong I do love it when images have a matching die, but there is something calming about cutting out images too. These are great cards to have on hand for any type of occasion. I layered all my cut pieces over a whisper white panel, for this particular card below I added embossed and stamped some big watermark patches. I love those flowers and the watercoloured look of them. Blues and purples I think I used every last cut piece! If you liked today's post please share your favourite pictures to your Pinterest boards! Thanks so much for stopping by and hopefully I have inspired your creativity. I love reading your comments so show me some blog love & leave me a quick hello below! See all the catalogue products & specials below here

A couple weeks ago Shannon West from the home office put on a "virtual" stamping class for some of us demos on FB. We could follow along (which I did) and make cards with her......SO FUN!! She put on a class similar to a "One Sheet Wonder" concept. Instead of one full sheet of designer paper though, she wanted us to use 2 sheets. We cut those into halfs at 6 in. x 12 in. So we used ONE full sheet total--but 2 separate halfs which left us with 4 different designs (back & front). Hope this makes sense!! I decided to use the See A Silhouette paper from the Annual Catalog and I'm SO glad I did!! I love how these 11 cards turned out!! I used a couple different ribbons to complete my cards. --3/8" Real Red Cotton Ribbon --3/8" Denim Ribbon I used the Pretty Label Punch on some & a couple circle punches on a few as well. My card base colors were according to the colors used in the designer paper pack. These cards were super simple & fun too!! What do you think? A bonus Tracy day today, we started off with the Tracy See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper since we are trying our best to make sure to use the truckload that we bought! ~Enjoy! We have been making an attempt to CASE the catalog for ideas, so we found this card on page 132 of the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I was not happy with the irregular cuts of the hexagons, so I decided to go grab my retired Hexagon Punch and cute the hexagons out of the paper & then I could create a uniform mat with white cardstock. The problem with this was that the punch was slightly bigger than the paper I had already cut out & white borders off, but as the pieces were lying on the table I noticed that some of them were upside down & I could not tell the difference between the trimmed white one & the back, so I grabbed some fresh sheets & cut a bunch of random ones. Trying to conserve some of the paper & not just go for the middle of a 12x12 piece of paper, I found it hard to find the deep green options, so this one turned out with the pinks instead, hence the change in background color to Crushed Curry. The background is embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder & the edges scruffed & sponged with Soft Suede. I layered a piece of Vellum over the hexagon border to give a little more definition the the flower sprig cut with White Glimmer Paper and the Well Written Dies. The Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was colored with a Crumb Cake Blends Marker to soften the bright marigold. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso using the Waterfront Stamp Set and punched out with the retired Tiny Tags Punch (I love this punch it is soooo cute!). The envelope is stamped with Crushed Curry & the For All Things Stamp Set. Good Evening everyone, I hope you all had a fab weekend and managed to get through Monday.. I know its late, but I set myself a challenge to blog everyday, I managed to steal a few minutes to create this card earlier, but only now have I had a chance to write it up... My card was made in minutes thanks to the wonderful DSP from the See A Silhouette stack. The colours and patterns are perfect for a striking background, so for a card, you need to do very little bar from add a sentiment. In this instance I chose basic black for the card base and sentiment strip to provide a great contrast... I heat embossed the sentiment in white. Here's a list of all the supplies I used in today's card, click on the images to head over to my online store.... Hi there and welcome to the May 2020 Stampers Dozen Blog Hop! This month we are sharing projects that celebrate the Last Chance Products list. This time of year is always bittersweet - so sad to see some of my favorites leaving but excited about the new product that's coming soon. Today's projects feature two retiring products - the Abstract Impressions stamp set and See a Silhouette DSP. Both are ON SALE now through June 3rd as supplies are available. I used the whisper white note card and envelope set along with several punches and a variety of ink pads and card stock (taken from the color palette of the DSP) to create these cards and I love how they...

If you're like me you have lots of Designer Series Paper that you feel guilty using, because you like both sides of the papers and can only use one on your card. Well, feel guilty no more! I have a great card for you that is easy to make, is a "WOW" card, and uses BOTH sides of the paper. Take a look: One of my very favorite new Designer Series Papers, See a Silhouette, and I get to use both sides! LOVE! I started with a piece of DSP that is 5-1/2" x 11-1/2". It is scored at 4" 6-3/4" and 9-1/2", and then you have to decide which side of the paper will be the showcase on the inside of the card. I decided to have the leaf design on the small flap on front and the beautiful "night sky" on the inside. All you need for the card base is a piece of cardstock cut to 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"; here I used Pretty Peacock. See that glossy stamping? So easy to do with the Stamparatus! Stamp once in your ink color of choice (I used Pretty Peacock). Then clean the stamp and re-stamp it with Versamark ink. Add Clear Embossing Powder and heat set--you can emboss in any of our ink colors! Another LOVE! When opened, the card is looonng....but this is when you can get the full effect of the DSP. And you have several options for decorating. I chose to use two panels. The first is 1-1/2" x 5"; the other is 2-1/2" x 5". You just want to be sure to adhere them all the way to the score line on the left, so the panel doesn't show when the card is closed. Here's the back: What a great way to showcase your DSP! Want another sample? I made this one using the same directions: Same DSP, with a Silver Foil card base. And again, using the Versamark over ink technique, I was able to get Night of Navy embossing: and I embossed the rest with Silver embossing powder. I also chose to add more panels to this inside; there are two of the smaller ones, and two of the larger. It covers up more of the DSP, but allows you to add many more stamps. Pull out some of your DSP and try this...I know you'll love getting to see both sides of your pretty paper! Hi Stampin' Friends! OK.... I thought I had figured out my favorites from the new catalog and then BAM! I worked with some new stuff yesterday and now I'm in love with something else. How can I be so fickle? Is that a good or bad thing? Do I need help? Do I want to hear your answers? hahaha Have you seen the "See A Silhouette" Suite in the new catalog on pages 133-134? They are so pretty and vibrant! The paper is amazing, like the most luxurious Batik fabric you could ever touch, only paper. I had so much fun.... Here's what happened! This suite was so spectacular that I'm going to have to spread it out over two blog posts! Today I'm focusing on the silhouette stamps that are the cutest thing ever. I love the emotion they evoke, that time of childhood and young love when everything seems possible. I couldn't wait to let the gorgeous Designer Series Paper inspire my color palette and tried to feature it on all of these cards. This suite also has some black and white shimmer embossing powder that I used on the first card. That was fun! There are good sentiments that coordinate well with the silhouette stamps as well. I kept my techniques pretty simple except for the first card where I did some double and triple stamping after inking up to get the different shades of Seaside Spray behind the silhouette image. All of my supplies are listed below and tomorrow, I'll show you more of what I did with the dies that come in this suite! They are equally incredible! We are looking at a winter storm warning in our area for the next couple days, including the possibility and likelihood of snow. I'm going to huddle in my stamp room and pretend it's summer and live in happy land until that storm goes away. I hope you have great plans for your weekend! Keep on stampin'! Sarah
