This is really so simple I probably didn't need to do a tutorial for you but just in case here it is! If you have any questions you can email me [email protected] You will need a scrap of paper & Stampin Up's Round Tab Punch. For my designer paper I used the Sale-a-Bration Welcome Neighbor paper pack. Insert the paper as shown & punch 2 tabs next to each other. Depending on how close you punch them you can vary the size of your drink. Then use your paper cutter or scissors to cut straight across as shown. Cut out a straw from the scrap paper & there you have it p.s. Hold on to the tabs you punched I have another project you can use them on! Check back for that another day.

Good Morning, Stampers! I am heading out west (Chicago - ha ha) today but wanted to get a post in for you! I have finally completed my hand made family gifts for this year and let me tell you, I am beyond thrilled!! Are you ready to see what took 16 yards of fabric, 1500 yards of thread, 2108 die cut squares and 38 hours to complete???? Look no further: Each family from both my side & my husband's side will each get one of these coffee table checker boards - 17 total in all! They are all complete & just about all wrapped. I am so glad to be done!! Oh wait, my son says, "Mom, didn't you make one for us?" Well, why didn't I think of that?? DUH! I guess I will have one more to make when I return home late next week :o) I had a few that I customized for my Sister-in-law (U of M) & my brother, the hunter. They really were fun to make - I hope they like them! SO here is my stamping tragedy. I was just about done cutting the last of my die cut squares, last night when this happened: Yep, my acrylic cutting pad cracked right down the middle! I guess after two years, it had had enough! Good thing there is still time to put a new one in my stocking - thanks, Santa!! Well, I need to pack up the car & family & hit the road. Happy Stampin'!
Hello there how has your weekend been? OMG !! this weather its just glorious, I have definitely been finding jobs to do outside and believe me we had plenty to do including planting ALL the post and baskets for the summer, anyway all done so happy bunny and I got a tan to show for all that hard work. Last Saturday I attended a Stampin’Up! Regional Training Event meeting up with lots of my team and fellow demo friends. I always wish I had twice the amount of time to spend catching up with everyone properly, it was such a fun day filled with inspiration and just like always I have come home buzzing with tons of ideas and new found enthusiasm, I just love my job !! I showed you the gifts in my last post and here are our name badges. Sorry not all badges in the photo We made these in our last training in preparations and they are using the fabulous Bird Die on top of a framelits shaped base. We skipped the wings on this die in favour for rosettes made with our fabby Simply scored board and Newsprint DSP. Vintage brads had to feature and the names were spelt using the Broadsheet Alpha and Just Perfect Alpha or wrote with a calligraphy pen. You can see Anthea’s badge in the picture she used the same framelits dies and the matching set Apothecary Art for hers. There were some fabulous badges on the day everyone designed their own and I am kicking myself for not taking more pictures I did snapped a couple more Cool right? Our Country manager Paula Gorry looked gorgeous as ever(love the Royal wave LOL) and her sweet assistant Kelly made sure our sugar levels were well topped up, two cuties There was lots of inspiration on display and again I wish I took photos of everything but I felt a strong need to chat with everyone *sigh* but here’s a few examples Beautiful card using Bordering on romance made by one of my talented downline Susan Geringer. Lots of patriotic inspired pretties, sorry don’t have any names to credit the authors Stunning!!! Love the clever use of the square punch here, both examples using the Tea Shoppe stamp set. Next one fit for a Queen!!! This card was part of Sally Jo’s amazing display, she is such a talented artist and has a personality larger than life, you are never bored in her company. Lots of out team presented and they did a fabulous job here’s our Lindsay she came down the Friday before and we spent a lovely evening together before heading of for the training. How cute is she in this photo? and I deffo have waist envy looking at her figure I had a few pictures of Julie who also presented but I caught her mid talk and they are not very flattering, so will refrain from sharing . then before we knew it crafty time arrived, some of my girls goofing about(ermm read that as Issy goofing around LOL), love these girls !!! From left to right Linda, Issy, Emily whom we adopted for the day as she was there on her own, Lorraine and you can just see the lovely Debbie all having a crafty ol time The lovely Dawn, Sweet Netty concentrating hard she was such a doll and got all my bits stamped so that I could finish all my samples at the training, thank you sweetheart here come the girls, Cal another member of my team and her girlies LOTS of fab inspiration on the wall behind, I love training events!!! My sweet friend Maria caught smuggling SU supplies into her big bag LOL I KID, I KID (she will kill me for this, I know it !!!) love ya Maria *wink* and then I thought let’s all have a group photo you know, all the team. All we had to do is group together, push our chests out pull our tummies in, look at the camera and show some teeth, right? WRONG!! LOL everyone is doing their own thing you know, poor Emily must have taken 25 shots LOL Pouting for the camera and here I am flapping my hands up in the air, my hubby often says that if I had no arms I couldn’t talk. and then we just gave up!! I love them, I respect them and I LOVE spending time with them!!! AMAZING WOMEN that make my life better!! and yeah we’re missing some wish you were here girls!!! From left Debbie, Linda Issy, Dawn, Jo, Paula, in the middle Netty, myself and Lorraine. I cannot wait till we do it all over again and most of us have already booked our places and flights to our next European convention in November. If you want to be part of events like this ask me how you can become a Passionette sign up in May (only a few days left) and come for FREE to Convention (normally £149) in Mainz Germany, your start up kit is only £99 and you can fully customize it. Read more about it HERE than get in touch with me for a no pressure chat. Phew now that was a loooong post and before I leave you I need to show you this, that flippin Pinterest LOL £16 and one hour’s work….. Now if you know us you will know about the paved path saga, Speak soon till then big hugs and thank you for stopping by. xxxxx Technorati Tags: stampin+up+demonstrator+uk,training events, tutorials, bordering on Romance, framelits projects stampin up,tea shoppe ideas, stampin Up demonstrator, monica gale,my many passions
I'm actually kinda surprised that this one didn't sell out really quickly. Maybe it's because we all know how useful it is, and so we've all bought it already! The Round Tab Punch is so useful for all sorts of things. Here's an Ideas Sheet I put together for it (quite a few years ago now...remember Mr Crabby??) The main thing I use mine for these days is do make tabs for my catalogues. It helps me find the section I am after really quickly. My daughter pinches it on occasion to do the same thing for her school books and assignments. This is one punch that I think I'll be hanging on to!

You're not going to believe this, but I actually put my Crew Kids Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit away in a cabinet last night. This morning, my wheels started turning for today's SCS challenge, and what do I do? ... I pull out my Crew Kids Girl SSK AGAIN! I am hooked on this color combo of Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi and Basic Gray! I have loved every single Simply Scrappin' Kit that I've purchased from Stampin' Up! Next card I post, I'll TRY to use something different ... I promise! Today's Ways To Use It Challenge 153 on SCS was the use fashion as your inspiration. I have always thought that the purses others have made with the Round Tab Punch were so cute, and today's challenge was a perfect opportunity for me to try! My card was inspired by JenMarie's card HERE, and Londonblue's card HERE. The body of the purse is created by punching with the Round Tab Punch and cutting in half, then the flap for the purse is punched using the 3/4" Square Punch, then cut in half. The "handles" for the purses are made with Silver Elastic Cord, and the pink rhinestone "snaps" on the purse flaps are self-adhesive rhinestones from Michael's craft store. (You could use a brad or eyelet too!) The polka dot Basic Gray frame piece is a self-adhesive die cut from the simply scrappin' kit. Card measures 6 1/2" x 6 1/2", and scored at 3 1/4" ... fits Small Open-End Envelopes. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY !!! RECIPE Stamps: Fundamental Phrases Paper: Wild Wasabi, Pretty In Pink, and Regal Rose CS, Designer Papers from Crew Kids Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit Ink: Basic Gray Embellishments: Pink Self-Adhesive Rhinestones (non-SU), Silver Elastic Cord Tools: Round Tab Punch, 3/4" Square Punch, Scissors Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals
A few weeks ago I went to a punches class hosted by my Stampin' Up rep. I know I have my Cricut, but making cards from punches only is actually a lot of fun. Isn't this guy cute? He's made using round, oval, heart, square, and tab punches. The people who come up with these are just the smartest!
