I created a vintage-look card using the new Notes of Nature bundle. You can read the details here and click on the tutorial while you're here.
Hello, It is always disappointing when a favourite product is retiring like the Notes Of Nature Bundle (#162640), but we can also look forward to more exciting products in the upcoming Annual catalogue which is available from 1st May. I stamped the leaves from the Notes Of Nature stamp set (#162630) using Old Olive ink (#147090). The Notes Of Nature dies (#163203) were used to cut these leaves as well as the leaves from the Gold Foil (#132622) and the Old Olive card (#106576). I used Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Gold Foil & Old Olive card. I stamped the leafy image from the stamp set onto the Basic White (#159228) background using Crumb Cake ink (#147116) but stamping off each time for a lighter colour. This was matted with Old Olive card and attached to the Basic White Base Card. I cut the gold & white floral DSP from the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty Designer Series Paper (#162616) using an Everyday Details die (#162864) this was taped to the card. “Happy Birthday” from the Beautiful Balloons stamp set (#161450) was stamped with Old Olive ink. The circles were cut with the Everyday Details dies. The Old Olive circle and stamped leaves were attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The other die cut leaves were attached to the card. I used Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) on the stamped leaves. The embellishments are the Brushed Brass Butterflies (#158136) and Gold Festive Pearls (#159963). The retiring products used here are Notes of Nature Bundle, stamp set & dies, Beautiful balloons stamp set and Festive Pearls. “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE. I created a vintage-look card using the new Notes of Nature bundle. You can read the details here and click on the tutorial while you're here.
Hello Stampin’ friends, The Notes Of Nature Bundle (#162640) has been used for today’s card. Unfortunately this is one of the retiring products, so if you haven’t got yours and would like it before it’s sold out, order now. Check out all the retiring products from the current Mini and Annual catalogue here https://www.stampinup.com.au/ I stamped the various images from the Notes Of Nature stamp set (#162630) onto the Very Vanilla card front (#106550) using Crumb Cake ink (#147116) and Copper Clay ink (#161647). I used a Blending Brush (#153611) to add Pecan Pie ink (#161665) around the edges of the card. I attached this to the Copper Clay card (#161730). I wrapped the Copper Clay Textured Ribbon (#161629) around the card front and attached it to the Very Vanilla base card. I stamped the leaves from the same stamp set with Crumb Cake ink and cut them with a Notes Of Nature die (#163203). Again I blended a little bit of colour on the tip of the leaves. The sentiment from So Sincere stamp set 162283) was stamped with Copper Clay ink. The 2 circles were cut with the Deckled Circles dies (#162286), then attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds (#162643) are perfect for this masculine card. “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE. One of the best sets in the new mini catalogue is Notes of Nature. As a crafter I am really drawn to collage style, messy, grungy stamps and techniques. It sings to me! So I was all over this new
It was a hot summery day and I retreated to my cool craft room to indulge in playing with some of my pre-order items from the January 2024 Mini Catalogue. First up was the Notes of Nature bundle, part of the Nature's Sweetness suite. I took inspiration from the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I like the eclectic mix of images in this set, beautifully enhanced by the add-on die cuts. I enjoyed creating the stamped background for the foliage and sentiment cluster, using a mix of Pebbled Path and Granny Apple Green ink. The cork embellishments are part of the Nature's Sweetness suite, as is the lovely Specialty DSP. Update: Delighted to be a Perfect Princess at Freshly Made Sketches. These products will be available in the New Year. As always, the release of the Mini Catalogue is also the beginning of the Sale-abration promotion. If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. You can leave a message in the comments or contact me using any of the methods listed in the Contact Me tab at the top of the page. If you would like a copy of the catalogue, please message me.
