Hello again my friends, For this bright & cheery card I have used the Full Of Life 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#163357). The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with a Fun Patterns Embossing Folder (#163790). I attached a piece of the Full Of Fun DSP on the side, then matted the card front with Blueberry Bushel card (#146991) and attached it to the Basic White base card. I cut the square from the same DSP with a Stylish Shapes die (#159183), then matted this with Blueberry Bushel card. “ Celebrate” was cut with the Wanted To Say dies (#161594) using Blueberry Bushel card for the background and the white Glimmer from the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Paper (#163769). The white glimmer paper was backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334), making it easy to attach it to the background. “Celebrate” was then attached to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The embellishments are from the Tinsel Gems 4 Pack (#161623). “Love what you do and share what you love. INSPIRE. CREATE. It’s been a while since I’ve done a Clean And Simple (CAS) card. A Clean And Simple card has lots of white space, minimal layers and little or no embellishments. My card evolved from this color block design in the Ful of Life Designer Series Paper. I planned to go in a completely different direction, […]

I needed to make a set of thank you cards for my son who was recently confirmed at our church and received some gifts that need to be acknowledged. To keep things easy on myself I decided to use the Freshly Made Sketches challenge and take away one less design decision. The trio of "something" can always be so many great things but I decided to stick with the squares shown and pair the layout with the new Full of Life DSP. I started with a Basic White thick card base, then embossed a piece of Basic White with the retired Brick & Mortar embossing folder. This one seemed to fit the clean look I was going for and the rectangle shapes echo the other squares on the card. I added the Basic Black strip at the bottom following the sketch. Then I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut 3 squares for each card. The Full of Life DSP is so pretty with vibrant colors in a watercolor look and different geometric patterns or washes on the back sides. I stuck with the small square pattern and just cut 3x3 blocks that fit perfectly with the die cut squares. Once the DSP was added to the squares I adhered them to the card front in a kind of color gradient arrangement. The sentiment from Simply Said is stamped in Memento Black on strips of Basic White and then the edges are angled. They are adhered with mini dimensionals. Now the trick is to get the teen to write them out in a timely fashion! Any one have tips?? All of the current supplies used to make this card can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for looking! The Full of Life 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is probably the “happiest” paper in the Annual Catalog. Bursting with color, it grabs my attention every time I go through my catty. Stampin Up UK Demonstrator Full of Life card ideas
Last week I had my monthly class and I designed this project which I called a "choose your own adventure" card. My stampers got to choose all the elements of the card to make it whatever they wanted. I wanted to show off the Full of Life DSP but I couldn't decide which patterns to use because each sheet is just as gorgeous as the one before. So I took that hard choice and just gave it to my customers! They got pick which pattern they wanted to use, which sentiment and which image. All I did was cut the neutral cardstock pieces and they did the rest! And if you haven't gotten the Full of Life DSP yet it will be on sale starting August 6th so make sure to add a pack to your August order! The bright colors and beautiful watercolor style of the Full of Life DSP really pair well with the images from the Attention Shoppers stamp set. Because the images are smaller they are quick to color using some of the colors in the DSP using Stampin' Blends. Once my stampers chose which Full of Life DSP design they wanted to use they cut the 6x6 piece in half so they would have a 3" x 6" panel. Then they cut that down to 3" x 4.5" and then cut this panel into 3 1" strips to mount onto the Basic Black panel. The sentiment choices come from the Online Exclusive set Sweetly Scripted which are a lovely mix of script fonts and are nice and long so they can go across a whole card front in both orientations. For this design I cut strips of paper long than was needed for the portrait orientation and my stampers just trimmed off the ends as needed. Once the image from the Attention Shoppers stamp set was chosen to go with the sentiment it was also stamped in Memento Black and colored in. I had almost my whole Stampin' Blends collection out to use during class as the Full of Life DSP has so many colors in it. So like I was saying my stampers had a lot of decisions to make on this card! Some iridescent ribbon and sparkle gems are added for a tiny bit of sparkle and shine. If you make card sets for gifts or to sell this would be a fantastic design and group of products to use to make them. No two card sets would be exactly alike with all the mix and match possibilities! All of the supplies used to make this card can be purchased in my ONLINE STORE. Thanks for looking!
