These 1' strip cards are a great way to use up extra DSP strips, and to experiment with combining different patterns and colors! I hope you enjoy my Lily Pond Lane cards today! The Masterfully Made 1' strip card idea was one of my most popular cards last year, if you missed it: click to view. After cutting and gluing the 1' strips in the pattern shown above onto the white panel, I embossed each panel. Most of them are embossed with the Cute Crochet embossing folder (shown above) but I also used a few others (pictures at the bottom
Launching today! We have a bunch of new Online Exclusives in my Online Store today. These are products you won't find in any publication. They're new and current and oh so fun! Some of these products may sell out and will not be restocked. So if you love something, grab it! There's lots to choose from and there's something for everyone. Today I'm sharing an amazing card that features four brand new Online Exclusive products. First is the gorgeous DSP! This is the A Little Latte DSP. The DSP is so fun and has a stunning color combination! You'll want this. The cups are die cut directly from the DSP with the NEW Latte Love Dies. These dies coordinate with the Latte Love Stamp Set (not used on this card). If you love the paper you'll want to get the bundle. Next is the greeting, it's from the NEW Comforting Thoughts Set. This set has some incredible greetings for family and friends struggling through some rough times. The greeting is die cut with the NEW Happy Little Things Dies. This two piece label die set is amazing! For the rest of my card I used the Foursquare Masks with some Shimmery White Embossing Paste. It's been a while since I pulled out Embossing Paste. I was reminded how amazing it is! I colored the paste with a tiny bit (one or two drops) of Petal Pink Ink Refill. This tinted the paste so that it wasn't stark white and blended into the background more. Don't forget to clean your mask and other Embossing Paste tools immediately so that the paste doesn't dry on your tools. I have a full supply list below. You can shop for these products in my Online Store. Shop the new Online Exclusives today! Shop my Online Store. Thanks for looking, see you soon!!! This card is magic. For real. Not just because the Batik Boutique stamp set and dies are fun but because the three strip layout is universal.
This hello card is for two challenges. First, it's for the Global Design Project#351 here. It's a Theme challenge to use shapes. I thought of the Beautiful Shapes dies. And it's also for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge#170 here. I went down the middle column with bright colors, flowers & stripes (both on the DSP). Hello shabby friends and welcome to another fun week of inspiration and creativity here in the Tea Room! This week ...
Welcome to my blog and other edition of Makeover Monday!! Today's card is a stepped up version of this week's Simple Sunday project. I used the new Hearts & Hugs Bundle with some additional elements. I kept the focal point the same. However, the additions of the Designer Series Paper, Rhinestones, & Ribbon transform the Simple Sunday card into a WOW card. DIMENSIONS: Bubble Bath, 11 X 4-1/4, score at 5-1/2 Basic White, 4-7/8 X 3-5/8 Basic White, 4-3/4 X 3-1/2 Bubble Bath DSP, 1-3/4 X 3-1/2 Bubble Bath & Basic White scrap Basic White, 5-1/8 X 3-7/8 Basic White,
Good Day Crafty Friends, I have another set of cards to share today. I have been creating batches of cards in different colour schemes as not everyone loves Pink like I do. Plus, I love rainbows and card sets created in rainbow colours are always so impressive and shows admirers of your creations that the card can look different in different tones. I have combined the Follow Your Dreams bundle with the new Brights DSP Pack to create these cards. These DSP Packs are available in all the colour families including the In Colours. One side has dots the other has these FABULOUS stripes. Melon Mambo Coastal Cabana Daffodil Delight Lemon Lime Twist. The Artisan Textures stamp set was used to create the card fronts. The large dream catcher image was then stamped over the coloured texture stamps. On scrap whisper white the dream catcher was again stamped in Black ink and then die cut using the coordinating Chase Your Dreams Framelits. Before adhering the die cut dream catcher to the card front, a circle of corresponding coloured card stock was cut and placed behind the dream catcher. The floral stamped image was coloured using Stampin' Blends. The card front was then adhered to a card base with a small panel of striped DSP from the Brights collection DSP Pack. To finish the cards and to keep them simple I added a die cut 'dream' created using the Chase Your Dreams Framelits from Black card stock. Before adhering the word die cut I slipped in a silver foil feather. Thanks for stopping by today, until next time, stay awesome
Hello there stampers! Welcome to another Just Add Ink Challenge. We have a gorgeous inspiration picture that is everything pretty in pink. What ever inspires you from the picture, use that as the basis for your creation and then go from there! Image Credit I do love pink and pink blossoms at that so that is what I was starting with as the inspiration for my card today. I've coloured a sheet of the gorgeous Stampin' Up! Petal Passion DSP. This beautiful DSP is black and white and lends itself to be coloured. I've coloured those pretty flowers with Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Stampin' Blend Alcohol Markers. The Blends Markers make colouring a whole 12" x 12" sheet of DSP quick and easy and then you have your own personalised sheet of DSP ready to match any project. Wouldn't the whole sheet look fabulous cut up in a lots One Sheet Wonder cards. The DSP looks great in just black and white also. Either way it really is beautiful DSP! I've only used a small portion of the coloured DSP and then mixed it with he stripe pattern for a fun background layer. I'm a sucker for black and white stripes so I knew I had to use a bit of it with the floral sheet. You had me at black and white stripes! Love! The die cuts, the embossed circle and the gold 'Thank You' are all from products from the co-ordinating suite that the Petal Passion DSP comes from in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. It really is such a beautiful suite and you really have to have it all! I love the single branch die cut across the front of the card. I did try and layer some flowers or something like that on the branch as we but with the background being quite busy I pulled it all back a bit to get rid of all the extra 'noise'. Finishing the card off with some ribbon, trim and enamel shapes was just enough to complete the look. Check out the rest of the amazing creations from the fabulous Just Add Ink Design Team gals and what inspired them. It's amazing how we can all see something different from the same picture. While you are checking out all those awesome creations, check out all the details on this weeks challenge and how you can enter your creation! Can't wait to see what inspires you!
