I couldn't sleep yesterday morning, so I got up in the wee hours and went down to my craft room and stamped.....using the Artistically Inked stamp set. This is just a clean and simple ink to paper, two layers with some masking card. I included a scattering of gems from this suite's ephemera pack, but overall the card is pretty simple. The colours I've used for the flowers are Pale Papaya/Pumpkin Pie, Magenta Madness/Melon Mambo and Fresh Freesia/Highland Heather. Pear Pizzazz was used for the leaves and Basic Black for the greeting. The second card I created in the wee hours of the morning used the fabulous Expressions In Ink Specialty Paper. I love this pack of paper so I let the paper do all the work for this card except for the die cut leaf sprig and some gold metallic pearls. I didn't even want to add a label for the greeting. Easy Peasy! I've been working in my yard and relaxing on the deck these past few days - when no creating was going on - because of the good weather. We've taken a turn though and it rained all night, which was nice because everything is so dry! We're suppose to get some snow tonight and that's not so welcome! But that's May in Alberta! I'll just huddle in my craft room and use some more of my new products. I've got a BOGO sale going on with my retired Stampin'Up! products. It's all laid out in a newsletter, so if you are interested in receiving a copy of my newsletter to get ahold of some retired products just let me know my e-mail and I will forward a copy to you. You can reach me at [email protected] That's it for today, Stay warm, stay dry, stay safe! Joan

I'm sharing a Sneak Peek on a new catalog product that's going to be one of my all-time favorites! Today's card is the fun fold Tunnel Card - a simple way to layer cardstock or DSP to create a neat pop-up panel inside. We'll use the retiring Expressions in Ink…
Today's card features Stampin' Up Quiet Meadow bundle in a watercolor design card. The color scheme is from this weeks Global Design Project. I started with a Polished PInk card base socre and folded in tent fashion. I adhered a panel of Stampin' Up Expressions in Ink DSP (currently available however low inventory) to a panel of Pale Papaya. I die cut a piece of Stampin' Up Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with Stampin' Up Meadows Dies. I filled a Stampin' Up Water Painter Brush with water and wet all the die cut pieces. I smeared some ink from my Pool Party, Polished Pink and Pale Papaya ink pads on separate ink blocks to watercolor the dies. I adhered the die cuts to the card front once they were dry. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive as well as Stampin' DImensionals. I wrapped a piece of Stampin' Up Open Weave Pale Papaya Ribbon around the card front and tied a knot. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Quiet Meadow Stamp Set with Pool Party ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I die cut the sentiment with coordinating Meadow Dies. I adhered the sentiment die to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The inside panel is a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower with Pool Party ink and the sentiment with Polished Pink ink. Both stamps were part of Stampin' Up Quiet Meadow Stamp Set. The Expressions in Ink suite is so gorgeous that it has a well-deserved place on the front cover of the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. Welcome to Makeover Monday!! It is so easy to step up yesterday's Simple Sunday card with just a few die cuts and layers. Adding a few more gold layers not only steps up the card, it also gives it a more formal look. I love the vibrant colors in the Expressions in Ink DSP. The inside of the card is simply elegant. Here is a look at them side by side. Here are the dimensions: Polished Pink, 5-1/2 X 8-1/2, score at 4-1/4 Basic White, 5-1/8 X 3-7/8 Basic White, 5
Yesterday I shared a pretty simple card using the Artistically Inked bundle and the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper. So today I am stepping it us and making another card using those same things but adding some extra layers. Here is what I came up with… The card base is Pear Pizzazz cardstock that is cut to 4 ¼ x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. I then took a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it to 3 7/8 x 5 1/8” and I embossed that layer using the Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder. I then cut a piece of Brushed Metallics to 2 ¾ x 4” and a piece of the Expressions in Ink DSP to 2 5/8 x 3 7/8” and adhered them together. I centered that layer on my card. I then used the die for the leaves from the Artistically Inked Bundle and cut it out using the Brushed Metallics as well. To adhere this to the card the easiest thing to do with these little fine pieces is to take some of the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and pour it out on the Silicone Craft mat (the best part about this mat is that any adhesive, including hot glue will just peel off once it has dried, I think this is a must have in every craft room) and use a Dauber to daube the ink on and then just add it to the card as shown above. For my sentiment I stamped “thanks” which is from the stamp set in the bundle onto Basic White cardstock using Just Jade Ink. I die cut the sentiment out using one of the Stitched Rectangle dies (remember if you don’t have the die, you can always just cut it out). I hope you enjoy this card I certainly enjoyed making it. As always you can find the supplies to create this card and much more on my website at https://craftwithronnie.stampinup.net or by click the shopping button at the top of this blog or the link to the supplies listed below. I'm loving this new Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper with it's marble artistic look and the small flecks of gold here and there. Simply Beautiful! This has to be one of the quickest and prettiest cards I have ever made. I basically cut a piece of Expressions In Ink 12 x 12 Specialty Designer Series Paper measuring 5 1/4" x 4" and glued it to a piece of White Cardstock card base (4 1/4" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"). The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set. Add some Champagne Rhinestones for bling and DONE! Expressions In Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper - Item #155464
