Hi there friends! Where does the time go? I realize that I missed posting pics of my Make N Take projects last Saturday on my blog, so I've included the link to the video tutorial today. Customers were able to pick up a free Make N Take with their catalogue for the Catalogue Launch. Perhaps next catalogue launch you can join us. I would love that! Today's cards feature the True Love Designer Series Paper and it's well named, because I truly love it. I'm a huge fan of black and white cards, and chose So Saffron as my accent colour for these cards. The two cards both use elements of a card by Cindy Elam at Heart's Delight Cards, who used the Pansy Patch DSP for her card. I used the black dsp with the white diamond dots for my card. You can see the Facebook LIVE tutorial here. I love how the flowers coloured with the So Saffron Stampin' Blends pop off the page. The second card also used the scalloped die, but this time I used it to cut the card base. A little colouring with Stampin' Blends on the striped DSP adds some fun to this card. The Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and Metallic Pearls add a little shine. I just adore this floral paper in the DSP pack. To keep with my yellow theme, I coloured the center of the flowers with my So Saffron Dark Stampin' Blend, then added some Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. The Basic White layer on the card front was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. To add some continuity to the card, I die cut a scalloped layer for the inside of the card as well. I just love the scalloped dies that are a part of this Color and Contour Bundle. My final card used another floral pattern from the True Love DSP, but it's a little muted by the addition of a Vellum Cardstock die cut over the top. The So Saffron strip across the lower half of the card was also embossed with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. The gems used here are from the Elegant Gems, and I borrowed a sentiment from the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set to finish the card off. Inside the card I repeated the floral stamp, rather than add a second sentiment, as I feel it makes the card suitable for a variety of purposes, and I always like to write a little something inside my cards. To receive a kit to make these cards, place an order for $65 or more using Host Code AFQTQEXJ by May 29th and message me on my Facebook Page with your address (so that I can mail you the kit). The kit will include embellishments, pre-cut paper, and written instructions. You will need the Color and Contour Bundle, Memento Tuxedo Black, So Saffron, and Smoky Slate Ink, and So Saffron and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. Please note that you will need a sentment to work in a strip for the last card shown, where I used "a little note" from the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set. I hope you enjoyed the cards today and that you'll come by again. If you live in Canada and don't already have a demonstrator, I would be pleased to help you with your paper crafting needs. Let me know if you'd like to receive a free catalogue. Happy Crafting! Craftin' Granny

I've definitely been running on a pocket card theme this month! I shared a super simple one this week on my Facebook Live. I was excited to use a new to me colour combo that I've been enjoying this fall; Merry Merlot, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride. They work so lovely together and were the perfect inspiration point for this card.I really like a good card design that can look amazing no matter what products you decide to use, but I'm not going to lie . . . I am in love with the Color & Contour

The theme this month is Dynamic Duos - using dies from TWO different die sets....how fun is that?! If you just hopped here from Debbie's blog welcome! Weren't her projects amazing? Follow the links at the end of each page to go on to the next stop on the hop. There are five of us today, so the hop won't take long. I can't wait to see the Freaks' take on this theme! I'm gonna admit right up front that I used more than two die sets on two of my cards. I couldn't help it - I love the dies, and the cards were whispering "more." 😁 First up is a card using the Inspiring Canopy Dies, and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. So where's the third one? The Layering Circle moon in the background! I felt the sun/moon die included with the Inspiring Canopy Dies was too small for the look I was going for. The greeting was heat embossed in white, then colored with a Stampin' Blend to make it match the So Saffron moon. The beautiful Scalloped Contour Dies make an appearance on this card along with the Playful Alphabet Dies. And, of course, the balloon from the Hippo & Friends Dies! I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the balloons to make them stand out a bit more. That pretty striped DSP is part of the Pattern Party Host Rewards. I didn't even notice it at first, but a dear friend gave me some samples of hers, and WOW! Colored patterns on one side, and black & white on the other. Speaking of black & white, this is another of the Pattern Party DSP designs, and it happens to be the reverse side of the stripes above! This card uses the Scalloped Contours again, along with the Tasteful Labels Dies. That's all I have for now! Up next is Bree Renwick, the Craft-somnia Momma. She's going to knock your socks off, I'm sure!

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop, where utilise the projects within the current Stampin' Up! catalogue to inspire our own projects each week. We also invite you to join with us in the challenge each week by using this inspiration in your own creations and uploading a photo to our Facebook page. This week we are taking our inspiration from the new Annual Catalogue, for our first hop now that the catalogue is live we are opening the challenge to any project in it! Take your time to have a look through the amazing projects in the catty, and even if you don't have the same products as in the catalogue just use what you have to be inspired by the colours, layout or any other aspect of the project to create your project. I was inspired by this image from page 99. When a new catalogue comes out one of the things I look for are the smaller projects, or ones that might not be the focal point on a page. you might look at the image above and miss the cute little card in the top right, but this is the one I took my inspiration from. Even though I didn't have the same products used in the original I did have the new Color & Contour Bundle and thought the fun daisy style flowers would be a great way to replicate it. I also made it in the new Polished Pink and current Highland Heather which are such a bright fun combo. I was so surprised with the frame dies in this bundle as they are all a little different from each other in more than just size, I thought this one had embossed strips down each size, but it actually has full thickness cuts which lets through some of the colours from behind. Here is the card from another angle which shows the Painted Texture 3D embossing on the background, and catches the light on the cute little In-Color Jewels which add such a fun element to the card. My tip for positioning the flowers is to cut two of the frames, and adhere one to the card where you want the sentiment to be, then layer the flowers around it before adhering the "real" panel over the flowers. I hope you are inspired to join in the challenge this week, just use any of the samples in the new Annual Catalogue to inspire your creativity, then post a picture of your project to the CTC Facebook page. Time to hop on over and see what Julia has created this week. Happy Stamping Monique
