I'm sharing two cards today created with the Color & Contour Bundle.....mostly. I love when there is a stamp (for me it's particularly a single flower) that can be used to easily create your own DSP. When I'm doing this I always start in the centre of the card stock and work out. You can always stamp off the edges to fill in empty spots, it's hard to fill in central holes without overlapping. I've stamped the three focal flowers in black; coloured two with a stamped off black and the third with Daffodil Delight. The strip of Daffodil Delight has been embossed using one of the Greenery folders. The greeting is from the Color and Contour stamp set, but I've used the larger round label from Tasteful Labels. The labels and the flowers have been raised with dimensionals and, although it's hard to notice in the picture, the Daffodil flower has three rhinestones in the centre just for some added bling. This card uses Pale Papaya as a base with Soft Succulent coordinating with it for the splatters, ribbon, gems and leaves. The splatters are included in the stamp set. I think there is only one size of scalloped retangle that I haven't used from this bundle. Miss Monday Cards using the Color & Contour stamp set. I really wanted to keep this card simple and needed to master the two step stamping for this flower. But because I'm me, I changed it up just a little bit but stamping some on a scrap of basic white and die cutting it out. Then I attached it with dimensionals to make it pop up more. It is hard to tell in the photo below but in person it really does give it a nice look! https://www.stampinup.com/products/color-contour-photopolymer-stamp-set?demoid=2130375 Left is stamped directly on to the paper and right is stamped, die cut, and then attached to the card with dimensionals. When stamping 3 images like this start with your outside images first and then your center IF you have room. If you think you don't have the space for all there images, stamp you center one first and then the others can hang over the edge. I used Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, and Flirty Flamingo for my floral images. Stamp 3 flowers on your Basic White or onto a scrap piece of basic white to die cut out. Stamp the inside of the flowers with 3 different colors (Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, & Flirty Flamingo). Stamp Happy Birthday below the flowers in Black ink (Memento). Glue your Basic Black to your Basic White and attach to the cardbase. Use dimensionals to attach flowers if you died cut them out. This weeks Simple Saturday card features the Color & Contour Stampin' Up! Bundle. This bundle has all the elements to create beautiful cards in no time.

Hi there friends! Where does the time go? I realize that I missed posting pics of my Make N Take projects last Saturday on my blog, so I've included the link to the video tutorial today. Customers were able to pick up a free Make N Take with their catalogue for the Catalogue Launch. Perhaps next catalogue launch you can join us. I would love that! Today's cards feature the True Love Designer Series Paper and it's well named, because I truly love it. I'm a huge fan of black and white cards, and chose So Saffron as my accent colour for these cards. The two cards both use elements of a card by Cindy Elam at Heart's Delight Cards, who used the Pansy Patch DSP for her card. I used the black dsp with the white diamond dots for my card. You can see the Facebook LIVE tutorial here. I love how the flowers coloured with the So Saffron Stampin' Blends pop off the page. The second card also used the scalloped die, but this time I used it to cut the card base. A little colouring with Stampin' Blends on the striped DSP adds some fun to this card. The Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon and Metallic Pearls add a little shine. I just adore this floral paper in the DSP pack. To keep with my yellow theme, I coloured the center of the flowers with my So Saffron Dark Stampin' Blend, then added some Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. The Basic White layer on the card front was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. To add some continuity to the card, I die cut a scalloped layer for the inside of the card as well. I just love the scalloped dies that are a part of this Color and Contour Bundle. My final card used another floral pattern from the True Love DSP, but it's a little muted by the addition of a Vellum Cardstock die cut over the top. The So Saffron strip across the lower half of the card was also embossed with the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. The gems used here are from the Elegant Gems, and I borrowed a sentiment from the Enjoy The Moment Stamp Set to finish the card off. Inside the card I repeated the floral stamp, rather than add a second sentiment, as I feel it makes the card suitable for a variety of purposes, and I always like to write a little something inside my cards. The kit will include embellishments, pre-cut paper, and written instructions. I used the Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create my card to share with you today. My card design was inspired by Inspire.Create.Challenge

Color & Contour Card with Fresh Freesia This Color & Contour card in Fresh Freesia ended up being so simple to stamp and put together. The new catalogue bundle that I used for this card -

All the pretty patterned paper is one of my favorite things about paper crafting. In the past, I have even, possibly, hoarded my beautiful patterned paper a little. I just didn't want to waste it, and I didn't want to run out of it. Now I know better. I might not always be able to purchase the exact same patterned paper, but I will always be able to purchase new patterned paper, and it's much better to USE my paper than to hide it on a shelf or in a cabinet. PLUS, now I now I can stamp my own beautiful patterned paper! This fun patterned paper was stamped using Color & Contour stamps with Starry Sky, Orchid Oasis and Parakeet Party inks. I love that I can make pretty paper backgrounds in whatever color scheme fits my mood and card for the day! To make this at home, first stamp the flowers, then go back and fill in the white spaces with the splatter stamp. Inside this card, I finished out the sentiment and added a simple flower bud. I fussy cut the bud after stamping it, then glued it inside the card. But you can also just stamp it in your card so you don't have to fussy cut and glue. Thank you for visiting my blog today.
