You can make these Sketched Butterflies Bundle In The 2024-2026 In Colors Cards with the measurements and supply list included here.
I've been creating with the versatile Stampin' Up! Round We Go stamp & die bundle. I made this slimline card with the bundle and the Wanted to Say die set. Here's a close-up of the rosettes on the card. It's easy to create smaller rosettes too. Simply cut the rosette diecut in half and assemble in the same way as the standard sized rosette. You do need to diecut two rosette pieces and adhere them together to form the rosette. You can also choose which outer edge you like to have on the rosette: scallop, zigzag or straight. This bundle, along with other stamp & die bundles and machines, will be discounted from this Wednesday, 5 June, with an 10% off the price. The current Stampin' Up! products used on the project can be purchased from my online store if you live in Australia. Thanks for visiting.
I’m super stoked to share 4 easy DIY thank you cards that feature Stampin’ Up’s! New ‘Spotlight on Nature’ bundle! The bundle includes a stamp set and coordinating craft dies. The greetings in the stamp set are perfect for Thank You or Friendship cards, and the greenery, butterfly, and floral stamps have a soft and feminine look. The cards I made today focus on the beautiful floral image.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Spotlight On Nature stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.…

Hello friends!! Popping in with a card that I managed to put together for a few challenges. It has been tough (again) lately to find the time and the energy to create. I am so ready for the cold, wind and rain to be gone and for some nice warm weather to show up!! Initially I was just going to enter this into the current Color Throwdown challenge, as well as the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge, but I think I will also enter this in the current Less is More challenge to use texture. My card isn't super CAS, but I hopefully it will pass muster with the ladies at LIM! I die cut the solid butterfly and then stamped it with coordinating images from the SU! set Watercolor Wings using Cherry Cobbler ink. The second butterfly was die cut from light grey cardstock and then adhered to the first butterfly. I added in the texture by coloring some embossing paste using SU!'s Smoky Slate and then applying it to my card using a Memory Box stencil called Chic Chevrons. A strip of Cherry Cobbler cardstock was punched on one side with a scalloped border punch and adhered to the panel with the texture paste. Added the butterfly and a sentiment from Altenew's Label Love and I was done. Pretty simple, but it took me the better part of a day to complete! Wow...I am sure getting slow at card making, lol!! Thanks for stopping by today... Supplies: Cardstock: SSS fog, white, SU! Cherry Cobbler; Stamps: SU! Watercolor Wings, Altenew Label Love; Inks: SU! Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, SU! border punch, Memory Box stencil; SU! butterfly dies; embossing paste

In my first month on the Dirty Dozen the challenge was Diamonds and Pearls. This is one of the cards I made for it and it showcases one of the in colours that is staying Wisteria Wonder. Yay! The butterflies are stamped with stazon onto vellum, coloured from behind and cut out. Ingredients : Stamps : Very Vintage wheel, Kindness Matters, Field Flowers Card : crumb cake, vanilla, vellum card Ink : stazon, wisteria, crumb cake Other : big shot, framed tulips ef, two tags die, crumb cake seam binding, square punch, cropadile, jumbo brad, pearls, crumb cake marker Kathy

Happy Saturday Peeps!! It is time for another new challenge at Our Creative Corner. Our hostess this week is the uber talented Anne Marie Hile and she has a fun color challenge for us: I went Clean and Simple with my card. The base of my card is Crumb Cake card stock and then I followed that up with some Daffodil Delight card stock and then the DSP is from the Stampin Up "Summer Smooches" paper pack. I made a big ol Gerber style Daisy for my center panel. I used Daffodil Delight card stock and the Daises Die. I cut a few of each the three sizes of daisies on the die. I ran each daisy through my big shot using the dots EF. I used a small circle punch for the center in white and embossed this piece with the square lattice EF. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up "Friendly Phrases" stamp set. I stamped this with black stazon ink. I added some silver pearls to the corners and it is done. Be sure to check the Our Creative Corner Blog to see what the rest of the design team came up with for this fun challenge. I hope you can find some time to play along and if you do, don't forget to link it up over on the Our Creative Corner Blog so we can all see it! Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!! Well, it's week 2 of my guest designer time at Just Add Ink and, as always, another beautiful challenge. This time, a colour challenge, using some of my favourite colours from the Stampin' Up Subtles and Neutrals collections. Since I'm still in love with my Dictionary Background stamp, despite its imminent retirement, and I'm still besotted with my last minute purchase of Butterfly Basics, both of them make an appearance in today's card. I do love playing with the effects you get when you spotlight part of a stamp by framing it and/or raising it up and keep coming back to experimenting with that idea. First I tried cutting the butterfly and sponging it after, but I got better results when I sponged the white card with Pool Party and Calypso Coral and then cut out the butterfly. Another favourite of mine is the linen thread and I think that technically speaking, it's Crumb Cake coloured! So I used it on the butterfly and the ribbon. Ingredients Card: Pool Party, Whisper White, Calypso Coral for the under-butterfly Stamps: SU Dictionary, SU Butterfly Basics, Clearly Besotted Fabulous Fuchsia for the sentiment. Inks: Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Calpyso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, Black for sentiment Other: Butterfly thinlit die, Pool Party seam binding, Brad base, Calypso Coral candy dots, linen twine, oval framelits, dimensionals.
I'm sharing a sneak peek at the beautiful new Beauty Abounds stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Beauty framelits as I participate in the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop. WHEW - I am back! I had to take some time off between the holidays because we were a bit busy with pet sitting... got sick... car died... got it fixed and traded in. All is back to good and we can get our crafting back on track... The new occasions catalog has sooooo many neat things that I really am going to be in deep trouble. Here is my first creation for you guys: This is bit more artsy and very easily achieved with the help of the Stamparatus. I stamped the ginkgo first in black StazOn ink onto watercolor paper, then I applied a water wash over it and stamped (almost slapped) the image down onto the wet paper in Mossy Meadow ink... that makes it splatter a bit or at the very least run... it's lots of fun! Happy Friday Stamping Friends! It's time for another Just Add Ink Challenge and this week's theme has been chosen by yours truly, Just Add Embossing. Embossing is one of my favourite techniques and I use some sort of embossing technique on nearly most of my cards. Whether it be Heat Embossing or Embossing with an Embossing Folder but what I've done today is something I haven't done much of, using the Big Shot Embossing Mats to turn the beautiful, intricate Stampin' Up! Dies to embossing dies instead of cutting dies. And now thinking about it I don't know why I haven't done more of it. It's so effective! These Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies teamed with the Big Shot Embossing Mats are perfect to create the maximum 'WOW' with minimum effort. To create the embossed background layer I attached the die lightly in place on the cardstock with washi tape so that it was positioned perfectly in place. To then emboss the cardstock and not cut it I created the Big Shot 'sandwich' which is, all layered on top of each other, starting with; 1. Big Shot Platform, 2. Cutting Pad, 3. Die facing up, 4. Cardstock on top of the die, 5. Thin Silicone Rubber Mat (Blue one) and then lastly 6. White Impressions Pad. Run all that through together in the Big Shot and 'Hey presto' you've embossed with your die. How much more versatile do the embossing mats make your Framelits, Thinlits and Edgelits? Because I wanted to keep the Butterfly embossed layer as the main focus to my card today I really didn't want to add to much to the card front to 'take over'. Just a few bits of ribbon, trim, and embellishments to coordinate. Just enough. Finish off the card I heat embossed the 'Hello Beautiful' sentiment with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat embossed the little butterfly with Black Stmapin' Emboss Powder to add the the Just Add Embossing challenge for this week. I'm so loving how the embossed die turned out on the card front. I think I might try it in other colours and see how that turns out. The possibilities are endless. Check out the rest of the embossed creations from the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team over at the JAI blog. Lots of fabulous creations! While you're there check out all the details for the challenge and then come and play along! If you need a refresher on using the Big Shot Embossing Mats check out this You Tube Clip from Stampin' Up! It shows you how to layer your Big Shot 'sandwich' and which silicone mat to use with which dies. Well worth the watch! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Live in Australia? Hello there stamping friends! Welcome to this week's Just Add Ink Challenge #462. This week Kim has a fabulous sketch for you to sink your creative teeth into. How fabulous are the stripes? I'm such a sucker for stripes and this time was no exception. I've actually made two cards today just using some strips of card stock and then layering some dies over top. The colours for my cards today have been inspired by the colours that I saw in a card on Instagram, a while back, HERE. I just love the colours used in the original card and thought they would be perfect for today's sketch! While the colours in the cards I was inspired by aren't Stampin' Up!, I've tried my best to get as close to the colours as I could with Stampin' Up! cardstock. I did have to pull out one retired colour, Lemon Lime Twist, but it hasn't been gone that long so I'm sure that you all have a little bit of it left in your stash, if you wanted to recreate the colours that I've used today. Both cards are the same, but just swapped out the cardstock for each to change the colours. I started the cards with a Crumb Cake card base, added a few layers of Whisper White card stock and then added the strips of coloured cardstock down the card. Once all the cardstock strips were added I then embossed the Stitched Rectangle Die into the cardstock. The embossing still gives the look of die cutting without actually die cutting. Because there is a lot of colour on the cards I thought that all the card really needed was the Butterfly Beauty die cut in Whisper White and 'painted' with Clear Wink of Stella and then the Happy Birthday in embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Basic Black Cardstock. The colours from top to bottom - Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist (Retired), Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Balmy Blue. Pacific Point and Night of Navy The colours from top to bottom - Lovely Lipstick, Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron. Which one is your favourite? While I love them both and they look even more fabulous in real life, I'm leaning more towards the Purple/Blue card as my favourite. We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week to see your fabulous projects.
