When I saw the colors for the challenge this week over at thepaperplayers.blogspot.com I thought "Yay! I can use my Beautiful Autumn bundle again and doing some punching!" Well, I did loads of punching with the Autumn Punch pack. I also used my new bundle called Quite Curvy which us demos got to order this month and customers will get to order in November. It will also be in the spring catalog in January. I started with the Very Vanilla base. I then cut the Cinnamon Cider card stock with the new Curvy dies and then cut a little off each to leave some space for my sentiment stamped from Quite Curvy set in mossy Meadow ink. I then stamped several acorns and two different leaves in Cider ink and then two step stamped them to color. I used Cinnamon Cider for the acorns, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow and Crushed Curry on the leaves. After punching all out, I arranged them across the top of the curve. I finished them off with a three gold dots. Hope you have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by! Hello from sunny Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and welcome to another Maui Achievers Blog Hop! I can't BELIEVE another month has flown by yet here we are ... counting down the last two weeks of summer before the school year starts (well ... the plan as of right NOW is that it will start in two weeks. We'll see!) If you haven't checkout out Kylie's blog hop before you're in for a treat! Each and every month Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the globe create and share projects using current Stampin' Up! products. The talent and variety of styles and techniques is amazing - we hope you come away with some inspiration for YOUR crafting projects. With fall just around the corner, MY share this month focuses on a new set found in the Aug-Dec 2020 Mini Catalogue called "Autumn Goodness". This is a set I treated myself too as I wasn't sure I would use it much. It isn't my usual style. Oh, how wrong I was! Once I started I couldn't STOP ... so you get FOUR projects to check out today *lol* I LOVE THIS BUNDLE! All of the cards use the same colour palette; Memento Black, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Bumblebee, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Garden Green and Granny Apple Green. All stamps used came from the one stamp set. I LOVE when that happens! I can't take credit for this next one - it's CASEd (copied) right out of the catalogue - page 75. (Did you KNOW there were "bonus projects" shown at the back of the catalogue?? This is one of them! Pages 72 - 76 show off projects made with all the bundles in the catalogue. Check them out! This card is my favourite ... and another CASE right from the catalogue, page 48. It is GORGEOUS in person! All the little "extras" just MAKE it! Daffodil Watercolour Pencil was used to colour the flowers on the Cajun Craze background. In Good Taste wooden elements, Plaid Tidings Designer Paper and Brushed Metallic card stock finish it off beautifully! Those are my projects for this month. I hope you love them as much as I do and that they give you some ideas for your fall cards! Check out what my friends have come up with ... and have a stampy day! I designed a Z fold card for a fall swap and then made another five. I started with a Cajun Craze base cut 4 1/4" by 11 and then scored at 2 3/4' and 5 1/2". I then a cut panels of Early Espresso- two 2 1/2" by 4' and 4" by 5 1/4". I cut two strips of designer paper from the Gilded Autumn DSP cut 1/4' shorter 1/4" smaller than the Early Espresso card stock. I then cut the Very Vanilla piece 3" by 9 3/4" and scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Goodness set in Cajun Craze ink on the front panel and the splash stamp from set. I then stamped the flowers and the pumpkins on Very Vanilla in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Stampin Blends markers. I stamped the wheelbarrow in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake card stock. I cut all these with the matching dies called Autumn Wheelbarrow dies. I cut the wheel from copper foil and the fence from Early Espresso. I had fun making these special fold cards! Hope you have a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by! My favorite things I find have to do with gardens (flowers, foliage, and herbs), so it is no surprise that I could not wait to get a chance to dive into the Painted Christmas Suite from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. The suite includes two bundles, the Christmas Season Bundle #156801 and Chris
Good Morning, Stampers! Welcome back to another great Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop! This week, we are sharing out favorite dies from the new mini catalog! The Christmas Pinecone die set has got to be one of my all-time Stampin' Up! favorites! Just look at the detail in the leaves and pinecones - it is just gorgeous! No need for anything more than a simple sentiment and a few red rhinestones to show off this beauty! For my card, I added the bottom layer using silver cardstock to add addtional shine and elegance. You can easily add a two-tone color in shades of green to give it more of a traditional feel. Definitely needs to be in your stampin' collection! Hello and welcome to Kylie Bertucci's International Winners Blog Hop! Today I'm joining Kylie Bertucci and a group of very talented demonstrators for a blog hop around the world. I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winners Blog Hop! I earned this honor with my card, Handcrafted Elements, which earned Fourth Place! I am honored that so many of you voted for my card. Thank you so much. The card I'm sharing with you today starts with a Pecan Pie card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". The next 4" x 5 1/4" layer is Pretty Peacock that I heat embossed copper dots on it with a stamp from Color and Contour. Next, I embossed it with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. A 3/4" x 5 1/4" strip of All about Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper was adhered down the right side then this piece adhered to the card front. The large leaf was cut with a die from Autumn Leaves and embossed with Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. The stem was cut from the Rose Gold foil paper and adhered to the middle. The smaller leaf was cut from the Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper. I cut some extra limbs to insert around the leaf. It was adhered to 2 circles cut out of Pecan Pie and Pretty Peacock with the circle dies from Stylish Shapes. The bow was tied from Copper Clay ribbon. On the inside I stamped a sentiment from Go to Greetings in Pretty Peacock and a leaf from Autumn Leaves with Pecan Pie. As you can see, this is a simple card to make, and I hope you will give it a try. I've provided links below to all the products I used. Click on the box below to download your free tutorial. Hello and welcome. It is time for another Simply Inked Team Highlights. Each week I set a theme and if anyone in the team wants to play along and create a project, I show case them on my post or link to their blog if they have one. Our theme this week is bows. It's gift wrapping and Christmas card making season, so bows should be everywhere. Stampin' Up! have made it really easy to add bows to everything this year, with the Gift Wrapped Bundle. With its fantastic bow stamps and bow builder punch, every gift can be super special this Christmas. I have used this bundle quite extensively. Here is just one project I have done. I actually didn't use the punch on this card, instead I stamped and fussy cut out one of the smaller bows. The presents are just pieces of patterned paper which are made to look like gifts by adding the bow. So simple and so cute. Beryl has played along this week and this is what she has made. Beryl has used Gift Wrapped stamp set, Plaid Tidings DSP, Shaded Spruce Cardstock, Ink, and Blend, Poppy Parade Ink and Blend, Granny Apple Green Blend, Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder, Whisper White cardstock, 1 ⅜" Scalloped Punch, and 1 ½" Circle Punch. You can purchase all these supplies from Beryl's online store here. Thanks for dropping by. Have a great day. Cheers, Narelle You can purchase all the supplies I have used in my online store here.
