To purchase any of these products, please visit my online store. The link is below in the description. Today I am going to share with you two never before seen (on my YouTube channel) blending techniques. Add embossing buddy first to the vellum, then stamp in VersaMark ink. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out with coordinating dies. 2- Create a blending background on one of the 4 ¼” x 5 ½” Basic White Cardstock. I used Sweet Sorbet, Starry Sky, Tahitian Tide, and Parakeet Party Ink Pads with Blending Brushes. 3- Use you Wide Water Painter with no water in the bladder. Get the brush wet and then tap on a paper towel until the bristles begin to separate into clumps. Then swipe across the blended background once or twice with the damp Water Painter. Pick up any excess water with a paper towel. Repeat over the entire background. 4- Once that is dry trim down to 3 ¼” x 4 ½”, which is about ½” from all sides. This give the background nice clean edges. 5- Emboss one of the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White cardstock pieces with the Gingham Embossing Folder and add it to the center of the cardbase. 6- Add the Blending Background to the center of the 3 3/8” x 4 5/8” Basic Black Cardstock. Add 24” of Black Twine to the bottom of the blended piece wrap around twine and tie a bow on either side. Then add everything to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals. 7- Add the white flowers with dimensionals in a nice arrangement to the center above the twine. Make sure to add the dimensionals behind the image so you don’t see it through the vellum – The mini dimensionals are perfect for this. 8- Cut out the “Sending” in Basic Black Cardstock with adhesive sheet. Cut out the background bubble for the sending die cut in Basic White Cardstock. Layer and add to your card with dimensionals above the twine. 9- Stamp your second greeting on Basic Black Cardstock with VersaMark, make sure to use Embossing Buddy before you stamp. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out with one of the label dies and add below the twine with dimensionals. All Done! Card #2 1- Stamp your images of the flowers and stems that you want to use on vellum cardstock. Add embossing buddy first to the vellum, then stamp in VersaMark ink. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out with coordinating dies. 2- Flip the flowers and stems over and work on the back side. Use your blending brushes and the same colors as card #2. Blend the color right on to the vellum. The color can rub off the vellum, but it will dry over time so don’t touch it too much. I used the Parakeet Party for the leaves and stems, medium size flower in Sweet Sorbet, small flower in Tahitian Tide. Then the tall flowers in Starry Night at the top and Sweet Sorbet at the bottom. 3- Emboss one of the 4” x 5 ¼” Basic White cardstock pieces with the Gingham Embossing Folder and add it to the center of the cardbase. 4- Stamp your greeting at the bottom of the 3” x 4 ¼” Basic Black cardstock. Stamp in VersaMark, make sure to use Embossing Buddy before you stamp. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set. 5- Wrap 22” of White Bakers Twine twice above the greeting and tie a bow on the left side. Add to the center of the cardbase with dimensionals. 6- Add the neon color flowers/stems with mini dimensionals in a nice arrangement to the center above the twine. Make sure to add the dimensionals behind the image so you don’t see it through the vellum – The mini dimensionals are perfect for this. 7- Stamp “Sending” on Vellum in VersaMark make sure to use Embossing Buddy before you stamp. Cover with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out with coordinating die. Add to your card above the twine with dimensionals. All Done! Here is the third new 2021-2023 in colour called Pale Papaya. Pale Papaya is a light orange shade that fits more with the oranges than I have shown in the comparison above. To showcase Pale Papaya I have again used the Colour & Contour stamp set and dies bundle. I used the scallop border dies to cut the edge of a piece of 2021-2023 In Colour DSP. This was mounted on a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped a greeting from the Etched in Nature stamp set in Pale Papaya. I stamped and die cut the daisy image three times and arranged them on the front of the card. Before I attached the flowers I wrapped a piece of the Open Weave Ribbon around the card front. I will be back tomorrow with the fourth new In Colour - Evening Evergreen. Thanks for visiting, Rachel

Just Add Ink has a brand new challenge! This week Kerry has provided this lovely Autumn tone inspo for us to create with. Being a Stampin Up! demonstrator means we can have early access to a selection of "NEW" products and the suite l have used today was definitely one of my must haves from the new catalogue, so to see it in our pre-order had me doing a happy dance. The "Hues of Happiness" suite is absolutely gorgeous and as you can see, it has featured on this weeks project, even though it is primarily a bright product. I decided come rain, hail or shine, l was going to have a go at creating something that worked with both the products & challenge inspiration. I absolutely love that the dies coordinate with some of the images in the DSP...No fussy cutting required! Lots of lovely inspiration from the team, so click the link and take a peek at those! Thanks for stopping by! All supplies used are Stampin Up! Products used are: Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper. Happiness Abounds Stamp & Die Bundle. Cajun Craze Cardstock & Inkpad. Linen Thread & Matt Decorative Dots.

Hello stamping friends! Happy Friday! It's new challenge day over at Just Add Ink and do we have a fun challenge for you - Just Add Ink #604 | Just Add a CASE of Yourself Challenge suggested by fellow JAI team member Jan. How fun!!! When I am stuck for new ideas I sometimes go back to my older card designs and CASE myself and that will usually get the creative ideas flowing. Do you do that too? I know I'm not the only one. With CASEing the idea is to use the original design but to change it up and 'make it your own'. This is my original card that I made back in January 2021. So not that long ago. I really loved the layering of the cardstock and the DSP along with the flowers in each corner. I thought this card design really lended itself so well to the Stampin' Up! Abigail Rose suite that I had just ordered and really wanted to use. And this is then my CASEd card. As you can see I've kept to the same basic design but I've changed it up a slightly. I really thought the floral image from the Cottage Rose stamp set was too large to add two of them to this card as like the original. I still tried to layer ribbon, twine and die cuts with this flower to make a floral 'spray' like my original. I've finished off the card with some heat embossed gold splatters, basic pearls and the Happy Birthday sentiment stamped in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I do hope that you are inspired by my original creation and my CASEd version here today. I can't wait to see your CASEd creations and how you changed up one of your original creations. The slightest change can make a card look completely different. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the Just Add Ink Design Team on the JAI Blog. Go and check out to see their CASEd projects and then while you are there you can see how you can enter your project. Can't wait to see your creations. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
